Great access to train stationand old town quebec. Our room was large, beautiful andcomfortable, and we really enjoyed the breakfast delivered to our door each morning to be eaten on our own schedule.
OK, I just got home from my trip. I should be unpacking, doing laundry, opening mail, etc., but I'm so excited about this hotel that I needed to write about it right away. Great hotel clean and with everything and a reasonable price. Most importantly, it's so close to the train station as well as the old town.
We stayed in the beautiful suite featured on their brochure. It's not really a suite, more a very nice room with whirlpool in the middle and a superb shower, not to forget a super comfy bed :-)))

The Hotel is perfectly located in walking distance of Old Quebec City. I would say 8-10 minute walk if you are able bodied. We stayed here two nights as a getaway to Quebec City. This hotel is convenient to the Old Port and directly across from the Vieux Marche (old market) so fresh produce and excellent macarons are across the street. We had a too-short, romantic stay at the Hotel des Coutellier. The hotel's location near the port and the market was perfect for us. Spent 4 nights here in early October, very comfortable. Nice touch having continental breakfast delivered to door,no need to go to breakfast room before a certain time. All the staff were fantastic. Within a easy walk everywhere. We would stay here again.
Customer service excellent. Good location to port for those connecting to cruise ship. short walk to station and also tourist areas. No restaurant available so breakfast delivered in picnic style to room, not the same as eating warm and fresh food). Room on small side however lovely and clean.
I think the best aspect to this hotel is their customer service...they obviously care about the experience of their guests. When visiting Québec City, the question is: should one stay in the Upper City or the Lower? Very nice hotel for a fair price. The room was clean for the exception of hairs left in the bathtub. Also, water leaked out of the glass shower due to badly sealed joints. A great small hotel. Staff very helpful, and rooms very nice, spacious, and comfortable. Only negatives are parking (in lot across the street - spaces not always available), and breakfast. While it is convenient that it is delivered to your room each morning, it is pretty much the same each day, and not too exciting.
Excellent interior design and top-notch equipment in room. Very comfortable and pleasant. Elegant restaurant attached to hotel, with excellent service. Keep in mind that there is no normal vehicle access at front door. Your car may have to be driven into alley beside hotel to drop off luggage.
My wife and I spent 4 nights here in Mid-April. We were able to walk all over Old Quebec, as the hotel is at the foot of the hill. Our room had a king bed.Small but efficient bathroom.
