From the two pagodas on the roof to the well-tended garden in the lobby, this Chinatown hotel is full of surprises. A feng shui master helmed the hotel's construction, so the interior vibe is appropriately Zen, but the location is the big selling point: it's across from the Palais des Congrès convention center and is a five-minute walk from the World Trade Center. An executive floor has a range... plus

Nice, clean hotel in a great location near a subway station, Old Montreal and Chinatown. Cleanest Chinatown experience I’ve had. Many restaurants nearby and easy walk to get places.
Hotel service was excellent and my wife and I were very happy.
We loved everything about this hotel, really can't think of one criticism to make.
-The front desk staff was very kind, knowledgable, helpful and welcoming.

The lobby looks brilliant with the indoor fish pond! They're at a great location too, right at the Chinatown arc and the heart of Old Montreal. Subway is across the street. The rooms are pretty ordinary though. They had some pretty heavy construction going on that closed off the main entrance.
It served for our pourpose, but wI'll look for something better. Very noise on weekends. Very close to old Montreal is a plus. Overall if you want quality this is not the write hotel.
Fairly-priced hotel. Met my expectations. Rooms are quite large, 2 queens in the room plus extra space to dance in while you get ready. All the basic services; rooms get cleaned, pool on the 3rd floor, staff is courteous.
In terms of the hotel itself, I found it to be great and would give you 5 stars if it had not been for the unacceptable behavior of one of your staff. On the last day of my stay, my experience was marred by the disrespectful treatment of one of your employees.
On Monday July 14th, at 6am, I was waiting for my parents by the entry stairs. I had my luggage so I was clearly a patron at your...

Be warned that there is an $85 Early Departure fee at this Holiday Inn. Canceled my reservation and booked elsewhere.
Spacious hotel in the Chinatown. The Internet was pretty annoying, you need to reenter the access code every time you connect, esp. annoying if you carry multiple devices.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn hotel, in the middle of Chinatown.
Paid $ 95,- for 1 night.
Unique Quality: We just went in there to see if they had a room available for that night. Rooms enough so we got a great deal, low price for a bussines room with all extra's. (we tried this in other places as well but it doesn't work all the time). The best thing is that it is in the center of Montreal so...

The price is lower than other hotels in the city centre. I like this place, because I can easily walk to old town, the port, and to many shops and restaurants in St. Catherine or other streets.
Unique Quality: Its on the edge of Chinatown, and the hotel has a strong Chinese influence in decoration. There is a good Chinese restaurant inside the building where you can enjoy DimSum.

This is a great Holiday Inn. It is two blocks away from Old Downtown and about three from downtown. It is well kept, with good breakfast and well priced.
Unique Quality: It has koy pond and Chinese gates on its roof. great Exercise room, pool and sauna.

Unique Quality: This is the hotel I always stay at. The hotel borders Old Montreal and Chinatown, and is within walking distance from the financial district. The architecture has an oriental theme, complete with bridges, and ponds with goldfish. You can enjoy dim sum for lunch and and authentic Chinese meal for dinner at Chez Chine restaurant.

This hotel is in the heart of Chinatown, right next to the Montreal Convention Center and near Old Montreal. It is very conveniently located next to the Metro at Place d'Armes. They also have an indoor heated pool, whirpool, sauna and outdoor terrace.

It should be noted that the front of the hotel and parking is on St Urbain if you come down viger you can't make a turn since it is one way. You have to go around 3 -4 blocks to get to the parking lot.
The location is great - a very short block from china town. A few blocks from the Notre-Dame Basilica and old Montreal. Everything was within walking distance and we loved it.
Bien situé, proche du centre historique et de chinatown. Proximité du
métro. Excellent restaurant chinois.
Parking de l'hôtel relativement cher (27 $ / jour), mais
indispensable.
The Hotel's location is near a station which you can move to anywhere, the staff were very helpful and kind, the breakfast was delicious and love the lobby, very different and inspired by China.
The smell in the hallways.
Location central to exploring Old Montreal and downtown area, very charming. Lobby area very unusual, breakfast staff very attentive and efficient. Breakfast buffet well presented and good variety of choices.
Paper thin walls in rooms. Neighbours very bothersome late into the night and early morning. Had city noise issues as well. No fridge in room.
Very comvenient to both old city and downtown. Also, very close to China
town. All are within walk distance.
The parking is relatively expensive ($27 cad per night). We booked a
non-smoking room but the room smelled bad as if someone had smoked
before we stayed.
Its a great place to stay if you want to be in the city center and close to Chinatown. Its an older hotel and shows its age. We actually had an issue with our first room, but the staff was more than happy to get us a new room. The staff is great. We didnt try the food, $20 for a breakfast buffet is a little silly to me. Was willing to stay in town, because hotels in Montreal on late notice can often be a bit dodgy. This place was located in a decent enough space that I can reach where I was trying to go, which is nice. Chinatown location was cool, too. Definitely not bad for what we paid, about $100 per night including tax, and during Bal en Blanc weekend too. The positives: as close as you could possibly get to the subway (Place d'Armes Station), HOT water and lots of it, multilingual staff, clean rooms, in Chinatown, safe area, and a hop, skip, and jump away from Vieux Port. Negatives: Old room... it desperately needed a new dresser, no... plus
Great location close to china town and a short walk to old town. The fun ended there. First we were not aware of $26 per day for parking. Second the curtains in the room did not close to block out any light. Found an old muffin in the closet. Really old, dried out. I've stayed in a number of hotels and motels in the US and Canada over the years but this was absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel is most convenient to visitors looking to explore the downtown area. It is also right across the street from the Convention Center, including a metro station. Conveniently located between the old port and downtown Montreal near Chinatown, this hotel has all the basic comforts you would expect plus a swimming pool and hot tub. In 5 minutes you can walk to Place Jacques-Cartier or Place Des Arts. The room decor was basic and clean with a comfortable bed. My girlfriend and I greatly enjoyed our weekend trip and would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff, super clean hotel, and very affordable for a downtown location that is very close to everything a traveler would want to see. My only complaint is the cheap pillows and uncomfortable beds.
Recommended though!
Check-in personal provided superb service with reservations for hard-to-get-in restaurants, with directions and with luggage.Hotel itself is a bit outdated but location is hard to beat and price is very competitive.
My experience at this hotel was wonderful! The room was great and the location was very good.
We chose this hotel since it's the closest to the metro station we use to go to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the F1 race. It's also located right in chinatown area, so grabbing a quick bite is very easy and convenient. There is parking underneath the hotel. It's now $23/night. It used to be free.
Hotel was okay. Not very clean. There were hairs in the tub n other spots inside bathroom. It is centrally located and especially worth it if visiting for meetings at the Palais De Congres because it's very close. All in all i wouldnt go back but it could work for the budget traveler.
Location was on the edge of Chinatown, but not overtly so. If you don't need to be in Chintown, other hotels might afford being closer to Downtown shopping. Very walkable to Old Montreal. Easy Metro (subway) access. Indoor pool was COLD! Rooms were roomy and comfortable. Although it was a decent value for the money, I'd probably spend a bit more next time for a newer hotel.
The hotel was very central and in close proximity to China Town, Old Montreal, Shopping Centres, Bus Stops and Train stations. I enjoyed staying at this location because it is close to Chinatown and diagonal from the Palais de Congres. It is quite clean in the rooms. The other benefits were the pool and jacuzzi. It doesn't seem like many people use these facilities because I was the only one there besides my husband!
The location is convient for meeting in the Convention Center, and for shopping and dinning.
We picked this hotel because our family lives on the same street and it's an incredible location between the very busy street of Ste Catherine and all its shops, the "Place Des Arts" where we caught the Festival of Laughs a week after the famous Jazz festival and the more laid back old Montreal by the water.
