Situated close to the CN Tower, Air Canada Center, Roger Center, Toronto Eaton Center the Holiday Inn Express Toronto Downtown is a great location for Groups, Business & Leisure travel. Not far from the waterfront and/or many other attractions if sightseeing is on the agenda.
This place is better than any motel, but its not luxury. Its affordable, clean, convenient and satisfying. The rooms are nice, the service is good adn the food is decent. If you need a place to stay, I'd check this place out, it wont put you over budget.
Very friendly staff with great service. They even held our bags all day when we checked out with no charge when we wanted to explore Toronto. The rooms were very clean and the free WIFI worked fine. Great location as well, very close to CN Tower, Hockey Hall Of Fame, Eaton Center, etc. Prices were reasonable as well, especially for the location. I would stay there again in the future.
Around the corners of the room it is a bit dusty. But honestly, it just gives a vibe of an older hotel. The furniture obviously doesn't look brand new, but who cares. Overall it felt clean, and the bed was so comfortable! I did not want to leave the bed in the morning. So comfortable! And the best pillows in the world! Hotel staff was pleasant. We had to park the car outside two blocks away,... more
This was a satisfactory place to stay when I needed to be in downtown Toronto on business. The room itself was reasonably clean and comfortable. Free wifi included. Breakfast is also included (can't say much about it, as I was in a hurry, grabbed a banana and ran for work). It's a business area, not much activity around after dark. Heating was a little primitive, with just three settings, and a... more
The clerk with whom I checked in was curt and brusque almost to the point of being rude. My first impression was not very good. The room was okay. Clerk who checked me out was friendlier.
Toilet didn't drain well, no fridge, heater fan had only two speeds - off or hurricane! Bed and furnishings comfortable, WiFi speed good enough for Netflix & YouTube with occasional freeze.
Everything was fine until my last night. Parties going on right next door and down the hall. A bunch of people came in around 500 AM and I didn't sleep after that. The desk was called but nothing was done. That may influence where I stay the next time I go to Toronto.
Our stay at the holiday inn downtown was very good. It was in a good position near to most facilities and shopping. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially liked the breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good but very busy. Plenty of food for everyone though. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.
We were in the city for one night. The hotel is central to a lot of restaraunts and entertainment so we could walk to a lot of things. Staff were curtious even when a mistake on the room was made. They changed it promptly for us.
Great experience. Much to see within walking distance
The hotel was in a perfect spot in the city, around plenty of restaurants and beautiful places in toronto, yet on two separate occassions there were extremely loud guests. People out in the hallway were practically yelling at approx. midnight the first night we stayed. The other time it happened was before our checkout early in the morning. There were two people screaming at each other for a... more
We stayed at holiday inn express October 3 and 4.The hotel is located close to yonge st and all the shopping and restaurants that comes with that area .The staff were all very efficient and helpfull. The free breakfast was quite good and had much variety.I will go back to this hotel.
We found the hotel staff pleasant and helpful. The beds were most comfortable, in fact I would say the best nights sleep we have had in any hotel we have stayed in. WE never had any problems with the internet as stated by other customers. The breakfast was an added bonus. The only down side was no kettle in the room to make tea. As we are from the UK and love a cup of tea first thing in the... more
We loved our stay in this hotel. We would definetely come back.
Our 2 nights stays very comfortable, we refer our friends. To this hotel.
Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The room was very clean and quiet. All amenities were covered. I would definitely recommend to a friend or co-worker.
it's in a good location near to down town and shopping center. the most problem that I see is low speed internet.
Overall a nice affordable option if looking to stay downtown .
This hotel offers good value overall. It is well situated in downtown Toronto, within easy walking distance of subway on Queen and King Streets. Good restaurants nearby, too. Rooms were very well appointed: clean and bright. However, I was particularly distressed by the inability to control the AC unit - it was either on high or off and no inbetween. Thus the room was freezing if left on.... more
Helpful and pleasant staff, clean well equipped room. Good breakfast to set you up for the day.
good we would do it again it was nice not to drive for a week lol
The location is pretty good, but be prepared to do alot of walking if you are going downtown alot. Its close to St Lawrence Market, which is amazing. The staff at the hotel was amazing, super nice and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and had the best continental breakfast I have ever had!
Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express at 111 Lombard st in Toronto was rather brief but satisfactory. We were attending a wedding at Ontario Place and needed a place to stay that was affordable and close to the venue. We were allowed to check in early which was a bonus as the wedding was at 3:30 and we would have had to return to the hotel to check in during the wedding or check in very late... more
If you are looking for an affordable hotel with clean rooms, courteous staff and free breakfast. This is the place for you. Beds are comfy too.
hotel is close to many attractions, we appreciated the breakfast buffet, but it became very busy after 8 30 am and the elevators could not handle the number of people coming and going, not bad if you are on a lower floor but higher up in the building you would have a long wait. Overall a good choice for downtown Toronto.
Staff were very polite friendly and welcoming. Two aspects let the holel down, one was the air conditioning which was very noisy and other one is about the lack of wifi access.Although the hotel advertised free wifi the connection was non existent/poor.Even after requesting Elite intenet access the connection was very poor.
For the $$ a great hotel. Parked the car and walked everywhere or took the Rocket (Canada's version of the subway).Breakfast was a great way to start the day. Staff helpful
Super close to downtown and all TTC transportation. We appreciated the free breakfast. Had a great Toronto vacation. Elevators a bit overtaxed. A small compromise for such a good location.
Was perfect for our stay. Concert at Molson Ampitheatre, Jays at Skydome, Second City, shopping and sightseeing. Was very good value.
The breakfast was terrible, the bathroom was not particularly clean and the bed was not the most comfortable. The location was great - walking distance to Downtown.
Hotel staff & breakfast was the best part of my hotel experience at this.hotel. The building is old, the hotel carpet is past filthy, kept socks & flip flops on in the room. Think I'll research the area & hotels in the area next time.
We would stay here again. Room was clean. Staff was great.
Great room, location and breakfast at price I was happy with. Walked to all the sites. Parking convenient and reasonable. Highly recommend but I do not have Gucci taste.
My stay at this hotel was decent enough. The room was clean and the hotel itself was a 10 minute walk from most of downtown. I've stayed in nicer hotels for about the same amount of money though. I'd likely recommend this to someone looking for a quick stop-over.
The hotel staff was very helpful, the location was great away from all the hustle. The breadfast was great. Would recommend from someone wanting to see a bit of toronoto
One of the cleanest rooms I have seen in a very long time.. Bath tub was spotless! If there was one minor complaint it would be the way the doors close. They have to slam shut, which wasn't a problem until the early hours of the morning when other guests were exiting their rooms and we were still trying to sleep.
The staff of this hotel is one of the best we've ever encountered, especially at the price point. They were very helpful in informing us about the surrounding area, told us where to go and not go after dark, and even called a cab for us one afternoon. The breakfast had numerous healthy choices and was very delicious. Even our finicky children were excited about what was served. We didn't... more
Hotel is OK. Rooms are small, really small. Breakfast is good but a lot of people around in small area.
Hotel room was very small. We booked for 5 people and were given two double beds. expected 2 queens and a pullout couch.Room was too small to fit a cot
Courteous staff, parking was easy, clean hotel, and location was excellent.
Excellent location , hotel very dated for a holiday Inn. Staff excellent , breakfast acceptable but basic
This hotel, after I checked in, telephoned my room to see if everything was satisfactory. It was. My expectations for service and resources were met.
Great; we spent the night in TO after a wonderful Caribana dinner cruise and the room and service was everything we needed. Comfortable bed, slept well; a really great partial view of downtown TO at night. Breakfast was good, something for everyone, just too busy at 9 am.....had to wait for some of the items on the buffet, but it was good over all. Would stay there again for sure.
Hotel was fine, breakfast was o.k., controls for heating and A/C in the room hard to figure out - needs a guide in the room booklet.
Good location, easy walk from union station with light bags. Friendly staff and clean hotel. Would stay again
All the staff are very courteous and go out of their way to help you. Close to downtown and tourist areas.
I had a room reservation for just one night and when I came to check in they didn't have my reservation properly in the computer. I paid for the room in full online and they tried to charge me again even after I showed them the conformation email saying that I already paid. The hotel over all was nice but they need to relook at how they process and take care of online reservations
Staff helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the hotel being so close to the water front. Room nothing special, but the bed was fine and the price was right. I would have liked a fridge for the room, though.
Hotelli sijaitsee pikkuisen kaukana metro- ja streetcar-pysäkeistä, mutta kävelyetäisyydellä ydinkeskustasta. Silti rauhallinen paikka. Ilmainen aamiainen plussaa, vaikka muoviset aterimet tuntuivat kököiltä. Aamiainen kaipasi myös vihanneksia. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja auttavaista.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgable of the surroundings and restaurantsThe daily morning breakfast at the hotel was very good. The hotel was cleaned daily we were able to use enter net without problemsWe had a wonderful time
Great hotel with spacious rooms and quiet excellent location. Breakfast included was great. Staff in breakfast room so friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds.
I chose this hotel because of the discounted price. My daughter tried to get a place conveniently located near her residence downtown in Toronto. but the buffet breakfast is good! the hotel is typical Holiday Inn: clean, moderately sized, free breakfast. unlike most US HI though that offers you a croissant and coffee and calls it breakfast, the Toronto hotel is more European by offering a more generous buffet. Hot showers has kinda low pressure but liveable
I stayed here 8 nights for a conference. It's a good value hotel for a downtown venue. Free breakfast and free wifi which my colleagues in the more upmarket hotels didn't get. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Lombard for one night during a trip to Toronto for work.

Stayed here with my two adult children (aged 19 & 21). All three of us were very comfortable in one room. To begin, you have to understand I work for a large hotel in the southern ontario region. I was in a rush to check in and attend the Raptors game this past Saturday April 19th. This is a good hotel that could be great. The location, staff, housekeeping and complimentary breakfast were all perfectly fine. The location was great and the room was very nice. Parking was reasonable and there were lots of spaces available even on a weekend.
Breakfast was crowded, with far more people than tables.
Liked the reception staff and breakfast
Choice of breakfast should have a 3rd day's menu as well (instead of alternate days).. becomes boring for a guest staying long term with repeat menu every next day
Excellent beds and pillows. Hairdryer didn't work but a call to the front desk and it was replaced within minutes. Breakfast was good with a great selection. Very friendly staff and good location. Easy underground parking with in/out privileges.
Parts of the hotel are a bit tired (hall carpets in places) but overall it was not a meaningful distraction for us.
Price, quality, services, clean
Very relaxing even if the hotel had a group of players in a tournement.
Location (a little run down area)
Carpet in the room needs replacement
Our stay there was OK at best. Parking was convenient and a reasonable price.
The hotel needs updating. Carpets are worn and the hallways are dim. Hotel is not in the best location for restaurants and seeing the sights of Toronto. Some of the staff seemed bothered by when asked for help, others were great.
The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely use this hotel again.
A nice comfortable bed, a high-pressure shower, and a plentiful breakfast buffet with lots of choice.
The AC unit controls were so hard to read it took about three false starts until I managed to get cool - not hot and not cold - air to flow at the appropriate rate.

Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, spacious rooms. Would definitely recommend.
No fresh milk in the rooms - it was powdered. Also no kettle - there was a very good coffee machine but it was fiddly to make tea. The staff, the beds, the noise from the hall just a generally a unfortunate experience!! Have already told 2 different groups of people not to stay here!!!
Friendly staff. Clean.
Free internet is rather slow and not stable. If you need it for business, then you butter find another hotel, or pay for a faster version of connection (available in the hotel). This is rather strange these days (2013!!!). Also, there is a door between two neighboring rooms, and it is not insulated (sound-proof) well - easy to hear people talking in the other room.
Nice Location & Friendly Staff. The room was clean and they offered a decent Breakfast (which matters a lot)

good location and friendly staff
The staff was excellent and very friendly. My daughter and I felt very welcome.
I did not like that it was listed as being 0.3 km from the ACC when in fact it was much further. I did not enjoy the walk, had major blisters and it ruined the rest of my holiday.
Good location. Travelling with the family it was good there was a laundry for the use of guests.
If you're driving from the west it's easy to get off the expressway and travel just a couple of blocks into the city to find this hotel. The location is especially good if you like to avoid much city driving. It is also nice that you can pull your car off the city street into a courtyard for check-in before... more
We stayed here after flying into the island airport from Sault Ste. Marie on our way to Cuba the next day. We wanted to stay downtown as we had a full day to kill and it was so convenient to walk to the distillery district, Eaton Center, St. Lawrence Market is only a few steps away. The staff at the... more
Great location in downtown Toronto close to all major attractions either by walking, a short cab ride or the subway is also accessible close by. Front desk staff were quite good and very friendly. Parking is underground and only suitable for smaller cars etc, (also an additional $20 per day). The room we were in was far too small for... more
I've stayed twice for rock concerts in the last two years and both times I've had great experiences. This place is walking distance from the Eaton center, which we loved. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, there were no issues with noise at all.
Breakfast has always been nice. Love the sausages and the juice.

Nice location. Updated elevators. Friendly staff. That's about it! Hallways are quite dated. Rooms are small. Crowded breakfast area. Dated bathrooms. Beware that this is not to the standard of the many Holiday Inn Express that I've stayed at... more
Hotel is in a good spot to a lot of downtown Toronto. Room was a bit smaller then I thought it would be but it was clean and comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet, the staff at the desk were very helpful. Breakfast had a nice selection for continental but was rather cool/cold but we took it to our room and... more
Great location. Great stay. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus. Rooms are decent. not a luxurious hotel but above average. Very good overall
Good quality for price. Free Wi-Fi and HD TVs (with standard def cable channels). Great free hot breakfast, $20 additional cost for parking is pretty typical but allows you to enter/exit whenever you like. Was exactly what we expected.
Very affordable, quiet, clean and comfortable hotel located in a decent part of Toronto. Includes breakfast, a daily newspaper at your door, WiFi and a smiling staff.
One of the best quality : price ratios. Included breakfast, like most Holiday Inn Express is great with good variety. Free Internet and newspaper in the morning. I've stayed here several times and would again for short stays. Rooms are small and dated, but clean. Staff were very friendly. Tvs are the big old CRT type. Heaters are also the old types in the corner of the room that are noisy.
Pleasantly surprised by the Holiday Inn Express on Lombard. Breakfast was decent enough with choices of yoghurt, skim and whole milk, pancakes, eggs, bananas, and bagels. Free wifi, room was clean. Everything is a bit dated, including the tube TV in the room. The staff were all great. Very pleasant and welcoming. The morning wake-up call was a person, which was a surprise. Good value for the... more
alles im allen SUPER. gute lage... nettes personal... frühstück genial!
No fridge in room, no door seal, no door bumpers. All noise from doors slamming shut in the hall waking me up at all hours of the night. Not a good experience at all, very disappointed. Actually thought I was booking the Holiday Inn at 33 Carlton Street and only realized my mistake when the Email notice was printed out a day or so before I left. Will not stay here again. Rooms are tired. I could... more
average hotel, great price through Skoosh. Staff was friendly and breakfast was quite good. A resturant 3 blocks away (Hot House cafe) has become our favorite
Very clean, comfortable. No charger for pets, but $15 for parking overnight. The air conditioner is old style, very noisy. We lived in a standard room, it's kinda small but still comfortable. Good location in downtown, easy access to shopping mall and restaurants. Highly recommended.
My stay at the hotel was lovely. The hotel was clean, and very quiet and peaceful. The money spent was worthwhile.Only trick they try on you is they set up a bottle of Monclair water and if you drink it, you are charged 2.99 plus applicable taxes!!! Do not drink it, go out and but your own.
The Holiday Inn Express Downtown Toronto is conveniently located only a few blocks from the AC Centre, etc. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. I would consider booking my stay at this same hotel in the future.
Excellent value for money in ideal central location within a very short walking distance of shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast for the money. Only negative would be that the heating system was noisy.
This was a great hotel for the price. Although it wasnt luxurious the location was pretty central and the service was very good. It was a great stay.
the hotel is in very good location, the rooms are excellent, but the staf were not nice and helpfull.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The only problems were finding a parking space in the garage beneath the hotel and the overcrowding of the breakfast room. Additionally, I would have liked it if breakfast had been extended to 11am and if there was a lounge for a late night cocktail. Overall I was happy with the experience and found it to be a good value through skoosh.
It's a good place to stay near downtown Toronto. However the area of the hotel is not the best place in Toronto. The breakfast rooms are very small and there is some hecticness in the morning. It's a typical Holiday Inn and I would recommend it for people who want to leave their car in the hotel garage and explore Toronto by foot.
Hotel service was good. The location, however was just alright. Wished it was a little closer to some more venues. Cost of hotel parking was high ($20)! Overall though, a good experience.
Great hotel! VERY CLEAN! Great service! Nice breakfast! Parking is under the hotel, 24 hrs for $20 (Hotel guest price) Good downtown location. Walking distance to Theater district, "Old Town", Young St., Eaton Center, The Path, Ryerson University. Would stay there again! Would use Skoosh again to book a trip!
Overall experience was great. I would recommend the hotel to others.Pros:-Location: The hotel was located approx a mile from where we wanted to go, and we were able to walk from/back to hotel very easily. It was a fairly nice neighborhood.-Parking: It was $20 for 24hrs, which seems to be very reasonable for TO.Cons:-The sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable, the foot-end of the mattress kept... more

Hotel was okay, very friendly check in staff but the best thing is the location in older part of Toronto, which was awesome and close to St Lawrence Market and great restaurants. Also close enough to walk to most downtown attractions.
We stayed on the 16th floor and had a wonderful view. The breakfast was fine and we could walk to most places in downtown Toronto. Couldnt beat the price and the location!
Took a road trip to Toronto, place was clean staff was friendly and helpful and the location was right in the middle of downtown :) had a blast!
The Holiday Inn Express is well located in downtown Toronto. The room was of average size and perfectly clean. The breakfast was free and offered numerous choices - pancakes, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruits, and breads. Wireless internet was also free. Only complaint was the noise both from the hallway and the street. Overall a good value.
Location is good. Room cleanly, breakfast are good but the time shortly.
Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. I don't think I would ever want to stay at this hotel again. The beds and breakfast were great but some of the staff in this hotel were pretty rude. The staff at the front desk were dismissive and unhelpful. We had staff coming to our door saying we were noisy and were threatened by the staff to keep it down or he'll have to teach us a lesson if he had to... more
Very clean, hotel personnel very nice, breakfast very good.A great stay for your money, great location .will stay there again
Pretty good stay for business - convenient location, quiet room, good internet access. Parking was convenient (right next to the hotel) and relatively inexpensive considering other options - $20 per day. Hotel doesn't have an exercise room, though. Major strike for a business traveler. That was my only complaint, though. I'd stay there again. Very helpful, nice staff.
This hotel is close to Young St. and Eaton Centre. Easy access for boarding passes. Very helpful with booking taxis and directions to events. We were in town for a concert.
I attended a concert and shopped while in Toronto. Hotel was only a 20 minute walk to the Roy Thompson concert hall. Full breakfast and reasonably priced parking made this a choice I would make again.
When I called to make my reservations, I was attending a conference. I gave the operator my location and they said I was within a few blocks of the conference. Not only was it not a few blocks I had to take a taxi ride there. I also asked for a non-smoking room and I was told I could not get one, and the so called breakfast was a joke. To say the least the room, staff, and the experience was... more
The room was great, no complaints and location just right for me, but this is a decent budget accommodation, don't expect luxury, but you can expect a decent night's sleep in a relatively central location. I would have preferred mugs and glass in the room, not paper and plastic cups. The same for the breakfast room, it was a tiny breakfast room with a terrible layout making people have to... more
First time to Toronto and we were able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city as we walked from Union Station to the Hotel. Nice restaurants right around the corner.
close to Toronto downtown, the old city center (lots of dining) as well as the CN tower.clean and spacious rooms, interior a little dated but OK, no fancy extras.
“The overall stay was pleasant and the staff was courteous. However we did find the rooms a wee bit small and therefore crowded.”
“This was a great choice for the weekend travelers. The free breakfast was great. The selection is what you expect (omelets, muffins, bacon sausage etc.) The location was prime we could walk everywhere in the city of Toronto. The only down side is you had to pay for parking which I guess for a big city like Toronto is needed. Overall though I really liked the hotel.”
“It was not that good. The coffee downstairs was cold, there was never any water in the dispenser for tea, and the room was not clean. There was garbage from a previous guest under my bed and my bed didnt feel clean. The rug was definitely not vacuumed either.”
Desk staff was very kind. Room was old and drab, as Holiday Inns so often are. Oh well. This is a relatively inexpensive alternative in a central location. Free internet. Free quick breakfast. Decent bed.
Stayed here for a few days during a conference, and found it to be quite nice - and a good value. The computer dedicated to internet for customers (pay as you go) in the lobby was dreadfully slow and ultimately un-usable.Other than that, all amenities were up to snuff, and it is close enough to downtown and the convention center for someone who likes a healthy walk.
“You can find the hotel easily because it is near King and Church. You can see the Church and hear the Church bells every 15 minutes.”
The Holiday Inn Express is a decent stay for a short trip. Although it does not have alot of amenities such as a pool or a fitness centre. It does have wireless internet, which is a plus when you need to do work/email. The B-fast was wonderful. Top quality food. There are both hot and cold varieties with many choices of juices, yogurt..etc.
“Would recommend this hotel to business travelers. Breakfast complimentary. Great Staff. Only bad thing about this hotel is the druggies and crack heads that's on the streets around the hotel all day.”
The Holiday Inn Express was a little further away than we would have liked, but the staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was very nice.
good value-typical Holiday Inn Express hotel. The hotel and room was clean and quiet.
Easy to find, great area, & comfortable accommodations.
Good breakfast. Room itself was clean and an excellent value. However, one issue--hotel placed transaction pending room charge for all nights on credit card despite having been advised that the stay was paid for via Skoosh. Still pending as of time of this writing. What is disturbing is that front desk would not provide receipt of zero balance at time of checkout, saying that Skoosh... more
Clean, quiet, and close to downtown. Comparatively great value for the money.
Property was nice, but nothing spectacular for the cost per night of the hotel room.
great location and reasonable parking. Already recommended to friend who is staying there this weekend.
“The breakfast was fabulous. A very wide selection and quite enjoyable. The hotel met expectations for cleanliness and basic amenities Way overpriced however. Only downfall to great location is the homeless shelter being across the street - it got rather noisy in the late evening.”
“The hotel was clean. The continental breakfast was excellent. The lady in the gift shop was helpful. Great location for downtown activities. I only wish it had a pool and gym.”
“Convenient to St. Lawrence Market. Clean. Appropriate amenities. Breakfast for those who want it. Exercise facilities would have been nice.”
“We liked the pillows, would have liked a pool or spa. The location is ok. Taxi's are very economical and parking is as well. The area is busy with new buildings being built and looks very promising.”
“wanted to rebook the same hotel but the price was much higher at the front desk.”
“Overall a good motel for someone looking for a basic stay with no frills. The room was adaquate for my needs of basically a place to sleep. Hotel is also doing renovations at this time which led to the 8 I gave for cleanliness, otherwise it seemed to be kept up nicely.”
“I would have to say that from the begginng this was not a good stay. I phoned ahead to request 2 double beds. I spoke to a man who spoke to his manager and said no problem and no extra charge was mentioned.I went to check in and they had no in a queen and wanted to charge ne extra to get the two doubles which i confirmed already.I had to argue with the man at the desk, tell him the persons... more
“Very Good location with good 2 stars room and service.”
“Hotel is located in a run down part of the downtown, off of the main streets. On one corner is a 24 Hour gas station and store, the other a salvation army shelter, and another, a goodwill thrift shop. Two guests get a bed and a foldout chesterfield.”
“Breakfast good.
Staff didn't seem to be hospitable.
Parking charges too high.
Rooms too small.”
“The location of this hotel is convenient to downtown. About a 4-block from the King St. subway stop, and probably accessible by bus. They provide a convenient flat-fee rate taxi ride to airport if requested. Enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast. Though the hotel is older, they are making attempts to renovate, which is a sign of good management and commitment to quality. The room,... more
“Quality Inn Hotel is near downtown Toronto, a few blocks from the subway, historic buildings, shopping, and food. I managed to get this hotel for much cheaper than normal - off season price was wonderful. The amenities are nice (free breakfast, free newspaper, cable TV) and the location is fantastic.”
“The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from subway and 10 minute walk from Eaton Center. It's clean. I can't say anything about breakfast because I couldn't be bothered to actually get up early enough to have it. Although I had a dreadful cup of tea in the room. But otherwise it was very good.”
“The hotel is sort of in the middle of a part of Toronto currently undergoing "urban renewal" -- there are a few nice restaurants and bars within walking distance; Lombard Street itself is a little tucked away (between King and Queen on a little side-street).The hotel has an odd system of continental breakfasts -- be sure to request your "free meal" ticket from reception BEFORE going to the... more
“The heating unit has too much noise for me to have a good-night sleep.”
“I did not like the way a hotel staff member treated my friend and I. We have stayed in this hotel before and liked it and never had any problems. Tha manager the next morning did correct the situation.”
“Basic and clean accommodation, slightly off the beat for those walking from Yonge Street. Neighborhood a little questionable for a single woman to walk through. Pleasant staff.”
“The hotel was clean and pleasant. However, the slamming of the doors woke up my family whenever someone is leaving their room. Other wise it is very nice.”
