Very friendly staff with great service. They even held our bags all day when we checked out with no charge when we wanted to explore Toronto. The rooms were very clean and the free WIFI worked fine. Great location as well, very close to CN Tower, Hockey Hall Of Fame, Eaton Center, etc. Prices were reasonable as well, especially for the location. I would stay there again in the future.

The clerk with whom I checked in was curt and brusque almost to the point of being rude. My first impression was not very good. The room was okay. Clerk who checked me out was friendlier.

Everything was fine until my last night. Parties going on right next door and down the hall. A bunch of people came in around 500 AM and I didn't sleep after that. The desk was called but nothing was done.That may influence where I stay the next time I go to Toronto.

hotel is close to many attractions, we appreciated the breakfast buffet, but it became very busy after 8 30 am and the elevators could not handle the number of people coming and going, not bad if you are on a lower floor but higher up in the building you would have a long wait. One of the cleanest rooms I have seen in a very long time.. Bath tub was spotless! If there was one minor complaint it would be the way the doors close. Problems with room reservation

I had a room reservation for just one night and when I came to check in they didn't have my reservation properly in the computer. I paid for the room in full online and they tried to charge me again even after I showed them the conformation email saying that I already paid. The hotel over all was nice but they need to relook at how they process and take care of online reservations

Free internet is rather slow and not stable. If you need it for business, then you butter find another hotel, or pay for a faster version of connection (available in the hotel). This is rather strange these days (2013!!!). Also, there is a door between two neighboring rooms, and it is not insulated (sound-proof) well - easy to hear people talking in the other room.

The location was close to everything. We could walk to the ACC for a concert. The desk service was friendly and helpful when we arrived and alternative parking was arranged for our large vehicle. Breakfast was awesome!

Very clean, comfortable. No charger for pets, but $15 for parking overnight. The air conditioner is old style, very noisy. We lived in a standard room, it's kinda small but still comfortable. Good location in downtown, easy access to shopping mall and restaurants. Highly recommended.

My stay at the hotel was lovely. The hotel was clean, and very quiet and peaceful. The money spent was worthwhile.Only trick they try on you is they set up a bottle of Monclair water and if you drink it, you are charged 2.99 plus applicable taxes!!! Do not drink it, go out and but your own.

My Rating of the Holiday Inn Express

The Holiday Inn Express Downtown Toronto is conveniently located only a few blocks from the AC Centre, etc. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. I would consider booking my stay at this same hotel in the future.

Excellent value for money in ideal central location within a very short walking distance of shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast for the money. Only negative would be that the heating system was noisy.

This was a great hotel for the price. Although it wasnt luxurious the location was pretty central and the service was very good. It was a great stay.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The only problems were finding a parking space in the garage beneath the hotel and the overcrowding of the breakfast room. Additionally, I would have liked it if breakfast had been extended to 11am and if there was a lounge for a late night cocktail. Overall I was happy with the experience and found it to be a good value through skoosh.

It's a good place to stay near downtown Toronto. However the area of the hotel is not the best place in Toronto. The breakfast rooms are very small and there is some hecticness in the morning. It's a typical Holiday Inn and I would recommend it for people who want to leave their car in the hotel garage and explore Toronto by foot.

The Holiday Inn Express is well located in downtown Toronto. The room was of average size and perfectly clean. The breakfast was free and offered numerous choices - pancakes, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruits, and breads. Wireless internet was also free. Pretty good stay for business - convenient location, quiet room, good internet access. Parking was convenient (right next to the hotel) and relatively inexpensive considering other options - $20 per day. Hotel doesn't have an exercise room, though. Major strike for a business traveler. This hotel is close to Young St. and Eaton Centre. Easy access for boarding passes. Very helpful with booking taxis and directions to events. We were in town for a concert.

I attended a concert and shopped while in Toronto. Hotel was only a 20 minute walk to the Roy Thompson concert hall. Full breakfast and reasonably priced parking made this a choice I would make again.

Stayed here for a few days during a conference, and found it to be quite nice - and a good value.The computer dedicated to internet for customers (pay as you go) in the lobby was dreadfully slow and ultimately un-usable.Other than that, all amenities were up to snuff, and it is close enough to downtown and the convention center for someone who likes a healthy walk.

Great for a short stay and good value!

The Holiday Inn Express is a decent stay for a short trip. Although it does not have alot of amenities such as a pool or a fitness centre. It does have wireless internet, which is a plus when you need to do work/email. The B-fast was wonderful. Top quality food. There are both hot and cold varieties with many choices of juices, yogurt..etc.
