Holiday Inn Express Toronto Airport Area hotel is near Ontario’s largest shopping centre Square One, the Hershey Centre home of the Mississauga Ice Dogs, 71.41 miles from Niagara Falls, 17.46 miles from Toronto.
It was great! We took the hotel shuttle to the airport and he took us as soon as we came down and checked out. Coming home we called and it took about 20 minutes to come and get us, but it worked out fine. We like being able to leave our car for only $25.
This hotel is a long way from the airport...not even in Toronto. It's in some other named town. You have to walk about 10-13 minutes thru 2-3 car dealers to get to get to 2-3 restaurants or walk longer if you go on the streets. This not a regular Holiday Inn Express. It looked like an old Best Western that had been converted. If you want to save money on airport hotels then pick this one. The... more
Shuttle to airport handy, breakfast was good but very busy with not enough seating for everyone
grosse Zimmer, angemessener Parkplatz, 15 min bis zur nächsten Metrostation, Frühstück ausreichend, Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden
Would benefit from aesthetic upgrades. Other than shower/bathtub seemed like 4 star rooms.
Excellent staff went out of their way to be helpful. Rooms were clean and very quiet. Breakfast had a good selection, even though the pancake machine was not working. Great value for the money.
Good experience overall. Doing this takes too much time. You should not require a lengthy response in order to get out of the program. Comments should be optional.
Pleasant staff, clean hotel, beds comfortable. Odd smell in room. Got stuffy nose and headache which stayed all night. Neither daughters noticed it. The "free" breakfast was UNEDIBLE, even my two daughters couldn't eat it. Even the tea was gross. The breakfast alone would prevent me from staying at an Holiday Inn again.
Not a very clean or comfortable hotel. Super high pillows causing neck pain. Breakfast was good.
Came in late on a business trip staying for one night. i was greeted promptly at the front desk by a pleasant young lady who quickly and efficiently processed my reservation. she asked me if l had eaten and directed me to four restaurants close by the hotel. A guest had left his credit card at the counter which l pointed out to her. By the time l had taken the elevator to the second floor she... more
Booked the hotel as it was close to the highway for our early morning departure, the room was clean and comfortable. There was some construction being done on the building but it wasn't a nuisance or anything. Overall was a nice place to stay. Kelsey's, Montana's, Subway, Country Style and a few other places all within walking distance was a nice bonus.
Wasn't there long, but had a clean, quiet room and very friendly, efficient staff.
No issues at all. I guess just spoiled with staying in new holiday inn expresses while travelling in the US.
Good experience and cosy room. Location is very convenient if you want to stay near the Pearson airport. Includes breakfast in package which is great.
When we arrived the shuttle took a while to come to airport as we have to call them and only then they arrange for one. We had to wait for almost 35 min at the airport for the shuttle other than that the hotel room was very nice and clean. Free breakfast was awesome and it is very close to all restaurants and transits
left my purse in the breakfast room and was so delighted when it was returned intact by the front desk. Thank you again!!!!
if you just want someplace to crash while on a layover it is fine but really not close to anything . It is a $75 cab ride to downtown
The hotel staff are amazing but the hotel has no restaurant or bar which I did not see on any information. It's in the middle of an industrial estate with nothing to do. With no car my only option was to chill in the room but the TV had no signal so it was not a great trip. The rooms were clean but the best part was the staff especially the evening ones. Very friendly & helpful & even offered... more
Guest laundry saved our bacon. Some hotels charge extortionist rates for laundry services. This hotel only charged $1.50 for a wash and another $1.50 for an hour in the dryer. Better than a laundromat.
Very friendly staff. Very welcoming and the hotel was good for the price. Room clean, extra towels on request, good TV selection and quite despite being close to the airport.
Will return if we come back to Ontario.
We left two cars at the Holiday Inn Express Toronto Airport hotel for an entire month. They were in perfect shape when we returned. The people working at the front desk were very helpful and nice! We actually did a reverse stay, which worked well for us. When we returned to Canada and stayed the one night at the hotel,... more
First, I have to say how wonderfully we were treated by Ghada (sp?) at the front desk. she was fantastic with helping us with a dilemma. After arriving back in Canada with trying to get 10 pieces of luggage from customs, was a nightmare. Waited 3 days in Toronto for it to arrive. Moved here from a hotel that was... more
We took a trip to Europe in June 2014. We drove 5 hours to Toronto instead of flying out of Detroit because the airfare was less than half, saving us about $2,000 (800 each instead of 1800). The hotel let us park our car at their place for free. Other Toronto hotels charge up to $10 per day. We flew... more
Have stayed here on 3-4 different occasions, basically because of the park-and-fly option. We park our vehicle there, take the shuttle to the airport and away we go! Each time we leave it there for 2 weeks, and on the way back the shuttle picks us up again, and we stay the night before heading back home.

I stayed here over the weekend with a hockey group. I found the front desk staff to be very friendly and accommodating, especially Angela. She was very friendly, helpful, and knew the area well. She was able to give me directions to places in the area, and also to recommend some restaurants. I really appreciated it, as hockey tournaments can... more
This was my second visit to an HI Express in the Toronto area and I have been disappointed both times. In both cases, the location appears to have been renovated after having been under another name. I give this location points for their efforts, but there is still work to do. The toilet paper and towels are low quality and... more
After entering my room, I almost wiped out in the bathroom since the floor was completely wet. The carpets in the room was wet as well, but assumed that the previous people flooded their bathroom and it was never cleaned. At 2AM, I discovered the culprit as water poured through the ceiling in the room as well as the bathroom.... more
Having to deal with the rudest front desk was just the start. Having to stay in a room that smelled like someone just smoked a pack of cigarettes and not being given another room was horrible. But finding open condemn packages under bed when packing to leave was almost the worst. The worst was having to deal with front desk... more
This holiday inn express is a converted comfort inn facility. Other than signage, there have been few upgrades since it's days as a budget motel. The carpets, furniture, washrooms are old, worn and dirty.
During my stay several transport trucks were allowed to park in main parking lot and remained running on idle the entire night. The noise as bad....

I only stayed one night at the airport the day I arrived. The front desk staff greeted me in a friendly manner, checking was smooth. I found the staff to go above and beyond what I expected offering solutions to minor problems unrelated to the hotel and giving recommendations for restaurants in the area. The rooms are clean very well... more
Stayed at this hotel two nights on business, finding the staff friendly, rooms clean and comfortable, while the hotel was also good value. I travel regularly on business and stay at Holiday Inn Express or similar chains in US & Canada. We have stayed at a few hotels in Toronto on our way through from vacation but this one is the best we have found that meets our needs. We took a cab here. The cab driver either wasn't a legal cab or he was an idiot. He couldn't pack all of our suitcases in his trunk, yet we packed them... more
Good and clean hotel, a bit dated but everything works well, internet is fast, the staff is friendly location is a bit far from the city centre but close to the airport... I really liked, does it's job!
Stayed over night pre flying out of the country for two weeks . The room was great - comfortable great location, easy to get to restaurants near by for dinner. Car parking for our two week vacation was included in the reasonable price and the spot to park in, was easy access. Our shuttle to the airport was on time,... more
We have stayed in this Holiday Inn Express on several occasions in the past and find it is comfortable and convenient. The shuttle bus service along the 401 in the morning is always exciting if you are on the first shuttle of the day trying to make it to an early flight, especially if it has snowed overnight! This time... more
No complaints with this hotel at all. I booked on the IHG website, got a decent rate for room plus up to 14 nights free parking for car which was great since most other hotels near airport only give up to seven night free.
Check-in was extremely friendly and efficient. Room was good size, very clean, had everything we needed....

Hotels near airports are either hit or miss taking advantage of the location.
This Holiday Inn Express brand must have a Holiday Inn in a former life and doesn't have the decor/ambience of an Express brand. It is overdue for a complete makeover. But, very friendly service, clean, and typical breakfast for an Express.

All in all I would say this is one of the poorest hotel choices we've made for our business meetings in the past 5 years.

From booking to checkout, dealing with the staff at this hotel is always so wonderful. I stayed at Holiday Inn Express February 1st for one night en route to Aruba. I normally stay at Best Western on Dixie Rd yearly en route to Caribbean as I live on the west coast of Canada. It takes a lot for me to write a poor review - we are generally very easy to please. I would rate the hotel itself a 6 out of 10. It wasn't the cleanest - but I can handle that. We were unfortunately due to leave for the airport before the "breakfast" was due to start, but they were nice... more
I have come to appreciate the high quality standards of the holiday inn express chain and will even pay more to stay at one over other brand names -- but this property should never have been added to the club. The rooms are dated and the hallways are plagued with water damage and are downright grubby. The beds are substandard... more
I just love this place. It is pretty much like every other Holiday Inn Express you will go to, which is nice and comfortable and priced reasonably.

Stayed here after horrible experience at comfort inn, Brampton (and not just because of renovations). Tripadvisor needs to check the reviews for that site because all the reviews saying it is a good place are written by people with only one review--seems to me like they have been faked to make the place seem better than it is. Anyway, Holiday... more
This is a very well run Holiday Inn Express. Pleasant people at check in. Very nice, clean rooms, comfortable beds and efficient shuttle service. What more could you ask for in an airport hotel. Price was reasonable, too.
We frequently stay at HI Expresses and I was lulled into a sense of security when booking them - I anticipated a decently maintained property. We booked this hotel for one night, while we were on transit home from a longer trip. And I did not bother to do extensive research.
We arrived after midnight (with two small children) and...

I've stayed here many times and each time Angela is at the front desk, she greets me with a smile & makes both my check in a breeze and is also very knowledgeable and can answer all my questions quickly.

We had an overnight stay in Toronto while on route to the UK. We selected this hotel because of the complimentary shuttle, breakfast and the reasonable rate. We were not disappointed. Our room was ready on arrival and was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and all were busy maintaining the cleanliness of the property.
I recently stayed here before my early morning flight. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, much bigger then expected. The airport Shuttle runs every 40 mins. It was on time and it is about a 5 min drive to the airport. Great affordable option for an overnight stay!
We had a complimentary shuttle pick us up from Pearson Airport, and the service was quite good.
