Girlfriends weekend

The hotel and staff, Lindsay and Matthew, (front desk) were EXCEPTIONAL! I could NOT believe that Lindsay was only in training! She was so professional! Other than the shuttle bus not showing up to take us to the concert on Friday day, The Holiday Inn was spectacular! Thank you, thank you thank you!

Nice cozy hotel, good for family. Great breakfast!

My family enjoyed our stay at this hotel during the beautiful season, the large 2 queen bed room good for our family, we went to the pool for relaxing and kids love it. Great experience!

Close to restaurants, some shopping and easy access to main highway. Checked in late evening. Went had nice meal got to have a nice swim before bed.

Algonquin Visit

We just wanted a short break to see the colours and visit an area we used to camp in. We don't do "camp" anymore since our kids are grown and we can enjoy the luxury of a good hotel. The Holiday Inn was perfect. It was in a great location, The staff were all pleasant and the room was ideal. it had a large bedroom area as well as a sitting and kitchenette area. Great Hotel for visiting Algonquin.

Had a pleasant stay for our family trip. Everything was great.

Great hotel with very good staff!

Amazing staff and easy access to highway/grocery or provincial parks. From our window we have pond and forest view. Staying here is almost like staying in an expensive hotel but only pay for a much afforadable price.

Excellent location for exploring AlgonquinPark.

Weather was good. Spent our time sightseeing and hiking.

Great pet friendly hotel

This hotel was a last minute change of plans for us and we are so glad we decided to stay here. It was very clean and accommodated our small dog so well. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Huntsville.

Nice hotel to be accessed via highways 11 & 60

In general nice hotel and staff. The facilities are ok, I was expecting to have a fridge in our suite, however, the reception told me for the basic rooms there are no fridges! good breakfast in the morning with variety of foods to eat :)

Nice hotel for a short stay

Good value for a family. Queen suite had two double beds plus sofa bed - very convenient. Good breakfast buffet with lots of variety and extended hours. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Was a nice stay.

Enjoyable stay very comfortable . The breakfast was great lots to choose from. Pool was a nice touch since the weather was cold and rainy.

Averall the hotel is very clean, the personal is very helpfull/accommodating, and hotel itself well situated in the middle of everything. Thanks Holiday Inn for a positive experience!

Arriving later in the evening - we found the staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room to be accommodating, friendly and well informed. The hotel room was better than expected in terms of cleanliness and space. The hot buffet breakfast had good nutritional choices.

The rooms are nice and clean, staff is very friendly, breakfast very good and love the proximity and discounts to restaurants, walmart and gas station. Would recommend this hotel to all friends and family.

Nice hotel away from the main town, close to Mall.

Nothing special. Pool closed due to 'soiling'. The pool in the next hotel was made available.

Clean and efficient

Room was fine. Hotel was clean. Lighting in bathroom was too dim, but otherwise all was good. Hectic at breakfast (floor was sticky, lots of people), but it was a long weekend and -- all things considered -- they kept things moving fairly well.

Nicest Place in Town

If you are staying in Huntsville this is definetly a nice place to stay. Comfortable, clean and nice breakfast in the mornings. We choose a room with a sink and fridge and were quite pleased with our stay.

Okay hotel

Long wait to check in because only one person working desk at 4:00 pm. Rooms and facilities were clean and pleasant. Pool was warmest we've encountered on our travels. Breakfast was fabulous. Internet was not great. Desk person revealed that it doesn't work well in all areas of the hotel and that was true of our rooms as well as the pool area. Great location, close to many restaurants, and nice hotel. Two things though, no hot tub and there was a band-aid on the bathroom floor. I would still return.

Excellent place to stay whilst spending 2 nights in Huntsville. Very conviently located and just a short drive from the centre of town. Lovely friendly, helpful staff, comfortable clean rooms and a good price. Would definitely stay here again. Also good breakfast included.

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be well situated across a shopping mall and minutes to downtown Huntsville. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was so comfy. We definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Nice hotel in Huntsville

The staff was very friendly and very accomodating to give me a room for an early check-in and reworked a few things to let me have a later check-out.

Aside from the fact that there is no good view for the rooms, everything was great

Elevators too loud for comfort

After driving 4 hours and arriving at 3am, room 106 was less than welcoming. We couldn't believe how loud the elevators were and found it hard incredibly hard to sleep. Facility is nice but location of room must me key for comfort. We requested a later checkout in an attempt to get rest and were denied although hotel seemed vacant.

My stay was excellent. The hotel is very tidy and clean. The staff is very friendly. The halls were very quiet. The breakfast was good . There was a variety of items to choose from.

The only thing missing was a hot tub! The staff were very helpful and considerate.

Nice place to stay as a family

Breakfast was good, rooms clean, pool great for the kids. It was exactly what we wanted.

restful stay

This is a great place to stay when visiting Huntsville. The location is perfect, there's many restaurants near by and you can venture out and walk to town. The only downside to this hotel is that there are no views. Pleasant stay, quality linens, great service.

Good balance of amenities, service and price

We chose this hotel because breakfast was included in the price and the location was convenient - near Hwy 11 and Hwy 60. The service was excellent, the breakfast menu exceeded expectations, and the available gym and pool only added to our satisfaction. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

great stay - dirty pool!

Pool needs a good cleaning!! Otherwise, a lovely stay.

Great stay

I would recommend it to anyone as a right combination of price and quality.

I really don´t like the air-conditioning / heating systems of hotels that make noise. This one is not an exception. I just can´t sleep with that machine turning on an off the whole night. It is hard to have to choose between noise or freezing.

Great for a short stop

The very pleasant staff on the desk allowed us to book in early and could not have been more helpful. We were only staying for the night as we were heading north, but if you were exploring the area it is in anideal location. A little expensive, but good quality and very clean throughout. Would recommend as a good stopping over location.

Lovely hotel for stop off

Stopped here for an afternoon to break up road trip between Toronto and Montreal. Easy to get to from main road, We got upgraded to a lovely suite, about a 10 min drive to centre of town ( which you have to go to unless want fast food for dinner).Breakfast good and staff very nice - gave us all local info without being asked.Really nice hotel overall.

we stayed for a nite at the Non Smoking suite so its a very nice room! and i am sure the standard must be nice as well but it wasnt available for the nite we wanted to stay.

Conveniently located..nice rooms

The hotel was conveniently located off of the highway and there was a Walmart, East Side Marios, Kelsey's, and Mark's Work Warehouse nearby. The suite was big and offered lots of room for the family, complete with a microwave and mini fridge. The staff was friendly and had menus for the various restaurants for us to look at. Holiday Inn Express in Huntsville

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Huntsville was very pleasant without any complaints except that there was 'no whirlpool in the hotel'. Otherwise everything, was great! The breakfast was the best we have ever seen as a complimentary meal. The area was excellent! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason! We had a great anniversary stay in Huntsville!!
