The room was large, the bed was comfortable and there was a lot of choice for breakfast.

3 adults in one bed!!

When we arrived we were informed that our room had 1 bed for 3 adults. The manager stated that it was appropriate to have 3 adults in 1 bed. We were charged an additional fee for a room with 2 beds. We were not impressed. The place was clean and the breakfast was good.

A quick overnight to Guelph for a party turned into the longest drive. With the 401 closed to one lane we were delayed but the hotel staff called to confirm and give directions. This hotel is on the edge of town and farther from the 401 and Stone Rd. It's about 15-20 min from downtown, U of G and the mall though it is close to Walmart and the movie theatre. Overall a modest place to stay

I have stayed in this hotel during a business trip I had for 2 nights. It was quiet and comfy overall and the only downside was the distance from restaurants and stores. if you need something to eat or buy, you most probably need to drive and also the pool beside my room which was busy till 11:00 and the sound of people was making it hard to sleep or focus on your work.

I have stayed here before, and I return everytime knowing that it is not a 5 star hotel ...but it's clean! And that trumps stars any day. A word of caution if you like to work out - don't rely on the this gym. Go to a local Good Life or Athletic's Club.

The area around the hotel was surprisingly quiet since it was located near some very busy roads leading to Kitchener and the Hanlon Expressway. The hotel was a bit out of the way of the downtown area. However, our stay was nice.

Loud, Small, Uncomfortable

This was my first stay at this hotel. The bed was very hard. You could hear the traffic noise all night and some type of fan kept making noise. The room was very small, but it has enough room for one night. The bathroom is very small. The food at breakfast was good.

First time to stay at a Holiday Inn express.Last minute reservation. Attracted by price and ratings from other travellers. Slight difficulty locating it probably from not noting address accurately and it is set back a bit from corner. Reception very friendly and helpful with restaurant coupons etc. Room very clean and comfortable. Didn't have a chance to use pool but it looked inviting.

Everything was really good. The room was very clean and very up to date. The shower worked really well. I loved the salt water pool. The temperature was absolutely perfect. The breakfast was good. Lots of choice. I do wish that they had real yogurt and not that sweetened dessert style yogurt. The scrambled eggs were perfect and coffee was good.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in a suite in June of 2013. We were very pleased. It was clean, the staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was great. Our room was nice and roomy and very comfortable. The hotel was in a great location. We wold recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and able to accommodate our special requests. The sink and shower in the suite weren't draining properly (drained, but very slowly) we notified the staff when we checked out and were impressed to see them immediately add it to their maintenance list. My stay at the Holiday Inn

My overall stay was good. However, during the night hours between 1-4am their was a lot of noise coming from the hallways on both nights of my stay. People were talking loudly and screaming, and at one point a person puked in the hallway outside my door.

All through the night until 4:00 am other guests were making excessive noise by shouting and running up/down the hallways.
