A wonderful, relaxing stay

From the warm greeting at the front desk when we arrived to the very clean, comfy accommodations, we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. We used the fitness facilities and enjoyed them as well. Excellent from start to finish!

Great hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A hot breakfast was a pleasing touch. The indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained although a little noisy in the early PM with small children traffic. The rooms were well appointed with lots of space to move about. Poor internet connection and too small rooms

I stayed there for two nights. The internet connection is really not good enough. and compared to their price, the room is so small. Wont go there again.

Quick trip

We needed to make a quick stop in Courtenay and booked last minute. We checked in late and the staff were very accomodating. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but good beds, good shower, everything we needed.

Not a usual Holiday Inn experience. Very nice staff in a newer style building, but the only air conditioner in the suite is a wall mount next to the bed which gurgled and snapped all night resulting in no sleep. Got upgraded to a wonderful suite :) the staff were so helpful and kind to us. We will go back again there is no doubt about it! The room was beautiful and we even had fresh flowers upon our arrival! This hotel made our stay in courtenay a wonderful one!

Breakfast great, room was OK

Our family of five checked in on a Friday for two nights. All was as to be expected at an Express except for the midget hockey teams who took over the pool, waterslides, and breakfast area while running up and down the halls at all hours, seemingly, unsupervised.

Worst hotel experience ever. Unless you are travelling with a hockey team, avoid this hotel.
We were stuck in a room surrounded by hockey team members. At 1am there was still a loud drunken hockey parent party going on in the room next to ours. Not good if you are planning on skiing early in the morning.

When we checked in the lady behind the desk was very nice. We got some
discount coupons as well (including 15% off Whitespot). There was a
decent size pool and a waterslide which my four year old loved. The Hot
tub and pool and area were all really clean which is often so rare. The
