The lunch specials are a decent value, but the fish suppers are overpriced for what you get, especially the halibut. You can also really tell when the oil has degraded and the fish and chips become soggy with grease. More of an institution than a destination.

I've been here about 7 or 8 times now either to pick up lunch for co-workers or for a quick bite with friends and the food has always been somewhere in the range of good to fantastic.

Definitely the best fish and chips I've ever had!!!! The fish is very oily and definitely not healthy for you an the fries are hand cut fries. The only catch that this is in Brampton and at the same time you must finish when the food still warm not that good after you warm it up again.

Enlish style fish and chips

Our number1 place when having the need for good fish and chips. But apart from the normal deep fried, battered fish, the do have a varied menu . . . including Haggis. On my last visit I had grilled trout that was truly delicious. Apart from the good cooking, a place where you can buy other thind British.

Second visit a winner

Ordered the fisherman's platter once again and what a difference. The service was prompt. The food was piping hot. The portions were substantial. The tea in China pots was exceptional. The pricing made it a super value. Tried a competitor. :-( .. we will be back to Heritage F&C for our next fish fry. It's the food not the decor.

A great family tradition for us! Friendly staff, quick service, and you can always count on the meals being fresh and super tasty. A side of onion rings and their iced tea go well with any of their fish and chips!

To be honest, I've never had anything other than the halibut and chips when I've eaten here.
I love it though, the place always has a TV with a rugby match or a soccer match on it which I love.
What else can you really say? It's a good meal at a decent restaurant. No complaints from me.

I really liked the Halibut fish and chips here. The portions are huge. I usually get one or two pieces for fish per person and then only one order to chips to share between 3 - 6 people because you get so much. Good value for the money.

Had the fisherman platter and everything in it was superb. My fave was the scallops and haddock. Got the poutine on the side and they gave a generous amount of cheese and gravy. Service was great. Will be coming here again!

Where's The Service

We have been here many times, despite the poor service, because the food is good. Today was the absolute worst. After waiting 15 mins with no servers in sight, we left. Will think twice about going back for sure.

We get take out at the location on Chryler Drive and Queen Street near Airport Road.
Tom is great. Always fresh and nice portions. Very good. The fish does not have too much batter on it. We like that. They change the fry oil regularly because you can tell at some places when it is not fresh. Recommend.

Good quality and value

Since moving from Europe I've been looking for a good Fish 'n' Chips shop and of all of the ones I've been to in the GTA this is the best.

Now, maybe it was an off night but we were not that impressed with Heritage. The food was just okay and I think we will try other places in the area before "settling" for this option.
The fish was a big portion, true, but it was sooooo dry. The chips were the better part of the meal, I guess, but we were looking forward to the fish...oh,well.
