Though this 12-story tower by the Inner Harbour has a few standard rooms, the one- and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens are a better value. In recent years, the hotel has added some great features, such as an impressively upscale lobby, a day spa, and an improved fitness center with indoor pool. The rooms also received a complete overhaul, but the traditional-looking decor,... more
position was very good., hotel was quiet and had courteous and helpful staff
Comfortable but noisy early morning from room doors automatically banging shut - installation of slower automatic door closures would be a great asset!Found the '$1 charge to your room' tag on the four bottles of water in the room offensive... Suggest either to provide a complimentary bottle of water to each guest or discontinue leaving bottled water in the rooms!!
we were treated TO A VERY FRIENDLY STAFF and a no hassle check in, smiles all around and very helpful. the view from our room showed the harbor, city, at night city lights, could see the Empress, Parliament bldg. we were able to watch the Seaguls with their new born babies on the roof on the of the Hunnington across the street, short walk from main attractions. The room was clean, and we lacked... more
Beautiful, clean hotel close to the ferry dock and easy to find. Staff were accommodating and very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Only complaint was the bed wasn't very comfortable and the shower pressure was so intense that it was painful! But they said they would have maintenance fix it. Highly recommend!
Front Desk personnel very friendly and knowledgeable. Very good location, close to two non-hotel restaurants. Walked two blocks to nearest city bus stop, which was also ideal for touring the city. Room very clean and well appointed. Unfortunately, while on vacation in April, pool was being re-furfaced, so couldn't enjoy a swim or two, or five...Found hotel resturant over priced. Had a salad... more
From arrival to check out a very relaxing enjoyable stay.. Hotel is perfect location. I have stayed here often, and I know that customer service and room cleanliness is a top priority.
Two friends and myself stayed in the Harbour Towers for two nights in 2009. The service was good, the accommodations excellent.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and the sofa has a pull out bed.
There is a coffee service in the room and extra dishes if you wish to bring food in.
Underground parking is a good feature.
Unique Quality: I think the view if...

I can't comment on the suites because I have only ever used the standard rooms in this hotel. The hotel is older and could probably use a reno, but it is clean and comfortable. Standard amenities in the room, including internet access.
The last time I was at this hotel was because I was at a conference in the hotel. It was in November in a blizzard and the conference room was long,...

My mother and I are currently finishing up our last night at the Hotel. We will have stayed here a total of four nights. It is a very conveniently located hotel tucked about two blocks off the main street. We're staying in a regular two person/two queen bed room, which has a half balcony and a great view of the harbor (has to be requested). There are some rooms which have full size balconies.... more
Clean, comfortable,friendly
We had a room on the street and it was just a little noisy
Good location, friendly check in staff, clean comfortable rooms.
Charging for parking is always a bad idea.
I don't understand the policy that only gives the free breakfast buffet to guests who book suites with kitchens.
Great location, reasonable rates. Liked the second sink in the bedroom.
No air conditioning in room, so room was very hot at night, even with the window wide open. (Not that the AC was broken - the room did not have an air conditioner).
Close in to harbor, easy to walk to restaurants and downtown venues
No air conditioning. Room was not clean on arrival Old soap and dirty socks found in room) and maid service missed one day, and was less then adequate on another.
The beds were comfortable and the room was mostly very clean
That I could not downsize my room due to booking online. The view was of
the air vac systems.
location, spacious room, breakfast was exceptional, staff were all very pleasant
short staffed, waited too long for check in, waited too long to be seated for breakfast, no reason guests couldn'T seat themselves, no mini fridge (not necessary to stock)
Breakfast was provided with room and was excellent. A smorg breakfast at Vic's Restaurant. The hotel room on the 8th floor had a great view of the harbor. It had a balcony but had no chairs to sit on, so we could not enjoy it. The room itself was very dated and not worth at all what we paid. There is no air condition, and the ceiling fan above the bed, shook and vibrated so much we were scared... more
Large suites, friendly staff and convenient location
nothing
staff are effiecient
room noisey and furniture tired crt sreens for tv unable to darken room
Everything was absolutely excellent,
The only thing I would complain about would be the varying temperatures of water in the shower, but the plumbing is old and probably can't be helped when everyone is showering at the same time
Loved the location size of suits
The sliding doors in both bedrooms of our suits did t have an extra child lock, we were on the 7th floor and I didn't feel comfortable with kids in there alone
The staff were mostly positive. The location is great.
The shower was moldy, and did not drain well. Very dated, not a high end
feeling. We reserved a two bedroom suite, but they "over
sold". Although we were accommodated in fine style, a better hotel
would not have inconvienenced us. Vic's restaurant/lounge was a
half step better than an Ihop, but 4x the price.
I've stayed there before, like the location and the cleanliness of the facility.
I would have like to been able to order a la carte breakfast rather than a full buffet. Otherwise, food was excellent.
Prompt, professional desk. Quick to accommodate room change request.
After the first night, being advised of an upgrade for the second night at the "same rate" when it was a higher rate.
Location was great
No air conditioning, over priced, small rooms and poor service.
location
outdated furnitures, lack of electrical outlets, old TVs, no writing papers nor envelops
Amount of space, comfortable bed, very obliging cleaning staff member, close to downtown.
Too brown! Decor needs updating plus kitchen equipment.
We've stayed at the Harbor Towers before and the rooms and service has usually been good.
This stay, the heat was apparently not working in some of the rooms and the hotel did not have enough blankets (?) Half of our group had to endure a freezing cold night which ended up with some our students getting quite sick.
The beds were in good condition and clean. There was an excellent gym with a multitude of equipment to choose from.
The carpet and chairs in my suite could of used a thorough steam clean. The hot tub was not functioning and the pool was cold and needed a cleaning also.
Large comfortable room. Reception staff were very helpful with bus timetables and loaned us a power adaptor. Had an excellent meal at the restaurant.
Location was good.
Very small bathroom with only one sink. Blood stain on the bedspread that I didn't notice until the day I was leaving. Not from me.
It has a good location. The price is reasonable.
The hotel is a little old. The room is small.
This hotel was excellent. Very clean, modern and a great price. The
underground parking was a great bonus so I didn't have to worry
about it parked on the street. Vic's was clean, newly renovated and
the food delicious. The staff, at the hotel and the restaurant were
wonderful.
I was there on business and when I got back each day, I either just
wanted to go to bed and watch tv, or I had work...

Location and helpfulness of staff
too much pressure in shower system initially - took a bit of getting used to
Comfortable beds. Clean room.
Kind of pricey at $240. No a/c or screens on windows
The location was good.
A problem with billing...I pre-paid through booking.com and then was charged again at Hotel. Can I get this straightened out?
Spacious Convenient location Kitchen facilities

Great views from the suite rooms, easy distance to the harbour. Very comfy beds and super friendly and helpful staff.
Not a major concern but decor in rooms are probably due for an update. Very tidy and clean but a bit outdated.
The room is on the 7th floor, we can see the harbor. The view is very nice.
Good Location, Good breakfast, really enjoyed our visit to Victoria
Squeaky bed
Leak from Bathroom
We had a king suite, layout and size were good, This is an older building and could do with some updating, however everything was clean. Carpets should be replaced as they were were worn.overall this is good value as breakfast for 2 was included in the rate of $130/night.

Good room and location
Not up to past stays. We asked for a wine opener, were promised one
would be sent up, and it never came. Terrible view from the room.
The breakfast was AWESOME! I wasn't expecting to get breakfast everyday, but it was such a great surprise!
They called a cab for me, but the cab was super late. They really should partner up with a better cab company.
Rooms were kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping, and the beds were
fabulously comfortable. Staff were very pleasant.
Not quite the 'balcony' we had been led to expect by the website
- a scruffy ledge with no chairs/furniture to sit out. Also,
visitors should be aware you do not actually get a harbour view unless
you're on the top couple of floors!
- the hotel has a very good location. Great access to the centre of Victoria.
- excellent breakfast buffet
- room needed some freshing up
- no airco but ceiling ventilator
The suite was very nice, large two bedroom, nice beds.
The hottub was not working, their was dirty socks in our room, there was no room service, the water was cold in the shower, the food in the restaurant was expensive, there was only a breakfast buffet served for breakfast, the front desk staff made excuses for the problems advising us it was off season. I stay at the Harbour Towers every time I come to Victoria! It's situated just one street back from the water's edge, but if you get a harbour view room, you can see the entire harbour - including the sea planes landing and taking off. An easy 40-minute round trip walk will enable you to see the entire harbour area and the downtown tourist attractions. The rooms are very spacious, the hotel is... more
We were recommended to spend at least a night in Victoria as Victoria has many things to offer. We selected this hotel which is generally fine. A bit far from center with quite a walk. The place was wonderful, but they never found our reservation, even with my confirmation number. I do not know who's fault that would be, but because of that, they upgraded at no extra charge a 10th floor view overlooking the Harbour and the Empress Hotel. Not bad!!
We've been going to this hotel for about twenty years now (the age of our daughter). We visit Victoria at least annually. Although we'll try other places when there are specials, we always come back here because it's conveniently located to the ferry, has clean comfortable rooms, and a nice fitness room/pool/jacuzzi.
It was quite pleasant. Located within walking distance of most everything. Hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time there.
convenient location downtown within walking distance to ferry to washington.
Spend 3 nights here. Good location and decent sized room. View was not good unless you like the looks of an outside air conditioner. Beds are good and clean. Bathroom very small. Pretty noisy. Great trip, disappointing hotel. Harbor tower was having a series of issues during our visit. The hot tub and pool were closed (and will be for another month, so check first), the water pressure in the shower was weak and the temperature erratic. My wife and I went to Victoria for a mini-vacation and stayed at the Harbour Tower and Suites. The hotel is older but fairly well maintained and there is free parking under the hotel. We traveled up for a night in Victoria. The rooms were clean, big and comfortable. The cost was also VERY reasonable considering the location and the amenities. I would recommend!
Traveled to Victoria for a couple of days on business. Didn't use the pool or the fitness room, but all impressions of the room, the staff and the restaurant were positive. The location is good, down by the harbour and convenient for downtown.
The hotel was clean, well kept, and the room was supplied with everything we needed for our short stay in Victoria.

I stay in ALOT of hotels, 100+ nights a year. The Harbour Towers is a decent hotel. The lobby and restaurant are nice. The rooms are ok, nothing special, but clean. friendly staff, great location near victoria clipper and walking distance to main attractions and beacon park. nice, big, comfortable rooms with high speed internet access.

We had called ahead and requested a room at a higher level. Lady we talked to said she will make a note for the desk person. We arrived at 7 pm, not that late and there were not many guests at the hotel. We were still assigned a room on the 4th floor. Could have easily given us a room at a higher floor.
My husband and I were in Victoria to attend a family wedding with two adult children and 84 yo Mother. The suite was a wonderful choice with spacious living room and comfortable rooms. it was very well serviced the staff were very freindly it would have been better if they had a family type resturant the vics steak house was a little over priced for every day eating also they never told us that you have to pay 12 dollars a day for parking your car other hotels we have been to in victoria had free parking
The location was great - just a block from the harbour and easy walking access to downtown. Unfortunately, that also made it very noisy. The one dissapointment was the daily charge for hotel parking, and very tight parking spaces. Hotel staff was very helpful.
Good location within easy walking distance of the most intresting areas of the harbor district of Victoria.
We were one block from where we got off the ferry, right in Downtown Victoria. Everything was in walking distance. It was a beautiful room and a great restaurant in the hotel. Plus there was two other great restaurants accross the street. Our stay was just perfect!
Was supposedly a 4 star, but really was a 2.5 maybe 3. Definitely an older hotel, rooms were small and dark, bathroom was SMALL. The hotel renovations started at 8am and underground parking was tight and sparce. (If you like your car, don't park there.)The hotel was clean though. Don't pay more than $110. The location was ok, not great, but ok.
I was there on business so it was fine. The food was very good and the staff were quite helpful. The rooms themselves were very basic but clean. The gym was well appointed.
We arrived in Victoria on the Clipper and were pleased to find this hotel was only about 2 blocks from the dock. Nice enough hotel, rooms fairly plain but nice enough. Good location, small stroll to waterfront. Has all services required.
I was disappointed that they charge$12.00 per night to store my car. The custodial staff was a bit lax. I think there are better values in the same area.
The room was clean, the staff was very helpful, and there is a shuttle service for trips within a reasonable distance of the hotel. The view was amazing, ask for a room on a higher floor when you check in. The room wasn't very big but it was comfortable and worked well for 2. The location is hard to beat for the price.
great view of inner harbor from our room. sit back and relax while watching sea planes and boat traffic go by. Or take an easy stroll to all the attractions the inner harbor has to offer.
Hotel was ok, but was told that it had full kitchen in the 2 bedroom suite. No oven, just microwave. Went for family weekend, brought casserole, no way to heat except by tiny microwave. We had front door bus service - for city tours and excursions. Be sure to go to Butchart Gardens and Craigdarrouch Castle. Easy walk to the harbour, BC Museum (amazing), downtown shopping and plenty of dining options.
Stayed in a one bedroom plus living room suite on 11th floor. It had a kitchen on one end. We really enjoyed the harbor view. The furniture could stand to be updated and a little more comfortable. Nice having a separate bedroom and two TVs. The bathroom was not overly big.
Very nice hotel. Great location on the inner harbor and with a great view of the Olympic peninsula across the straits. Secure garage
Modern well appointed accomodation. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Welcoming and helpful staff. Good location close to harbour, but not so close as to be disturbed by noise. Very good value for money - my expectations were exceeded. I would certainly recommend to others.
