Clean place to stay in Burnaby BC

Our family rented 3 clean and comfortable rooms at this family friendly motel for less than the price of one room in most Vancouver and Burnaby hotels.

Excellent value for money

This hotel is somewhat off the beaten track in Burnaby, but handy to the places we needed to go. I found the owners/staff welcoming and the atmosphere was quite cozy. it is old enough to be a bit battered, but carefully maintained.

Bad, smelly, cramped, noisy, smelly

Never again even if it was free and stop advertising to seniors, its an insult to their intelligence

A good location

We drove to the Hotel and looking at the place from the outside, it was hard to find the right turn to get into the parking lot. The lobby needed some care but the guy on the front desk was friendly. We were given a room on the third floor and was surprised by the up to date and clean area. The room was large and had two beds and it was a very quiet place to stay.

다운타운과 먼것은 예상했지만,,, 동내 분위기도 상당히 음침한느낌의 지역. 인도분이 사장님이신듯한데.... 아침은 커피도 손이안감..ㅡㅡ;;; 매일 아침 사오는 블루베머핀은 맛있음. 수건달라면, 돌려주는 갯수세면서 같은수만큼만 줄 정도로 약간 치사. 다시 벤쿠버에간다면.. 절대 안 머무름.

In town for work

Friendly staff, quiet location even tho on major road, decent room with kitchenette. Would stay again!

Good access, not so clean

The access to Vancouver visiting sites and downtown was good, but the room was not so professionally clean.

Squeaking by

Hotel is walking distance to Deer Lake Park. This, together with price, makes this an okay place for adventurous people to stay.

Un bon rapport qualité prix, avec une cuisine complète! La chambre est propre! Par contre le frigo est un peu bruyant et la télé est un peu vielle!

Convenient hotel

We stayed for two nights, the location is convenient, it doesn't make sense they charged extra 150$ deposit for security.

Close to Edmonds Station

I thought the staff were nice and the hotel was close to the highway via Canada Way.

We enjoyed our stay at Happy Day Inn-Burnaby. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

We were in town for a wedding and it was a clean convenient location.

Excellant place to stay

We had a wonderful stay in Burnaby. We were there for a wedding and Happy Days Inn was central for everything. We were pleased with everything there.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. He told us about transportation in just the right amount of detail, places to go/eat, and about the local area. Motel is on bus line that linked to light rail service.

The staff could not be more accommodating - I arrived at 2:30 in the morning - and was warmly welcomed. Good breakfast - clean, quiet and comfortable.

Although there was a curtain you can still see the lights at night coming on the sides of the windows. The aircon makes lots of noise.

I have stayed here a number of times because of the location for work and the economic price. This visit was not as successful - front rooms are on busy street and noisy, room on top floor was not well kept.

The breakfast is amazzzzzing, continental 1000 type of cheese, all kind of eggs, even dinosaur's eggs are there, fresh milk(the cow in front of the hotel ) 1000 of different kind of cornflakes, 100 kind of fruits, amaaaaaazing, 99 king of juices, 88 kind of breads and toasts, I can't tell you more, just recommend you to go and stay there and see by yourself, I hope that you don't have past... more

The housekeeping service was really bad. When I was sleeping, they always knock the door and speak really really loud that made me really unhappy.

The Happy Day Inn was cozy

We stayed there for a week, It was a small hotel, friendly service, smoking and non smoking rooms. Rooms were quite small but after a while it felt cozy. No mini fridge or movies to order but it was fair for the price we paid. Close enough to a big mall and lots of places to dine or order in from around the neighbourhood

We stayed 3 nights at the happy day inn. Service was great! Rooms are good but are in the middle of getting renovated. Hotel is quite with not alot of street noise. Would stay there again.

Beds great. The place was clean although dated. The rooms were small but sufficient. I found the room very quiet although the motel is on a busy road. I was on the back side so would suggest those rooms. The staff very helpfull regarding other needs like restaurants. The gym was OK but very cold and limited in equipement. Restaurant basic but all one needs.

they promised me that there will be internet service.But when we went there, there was a wireless connection which we could connect for only 1 min.They didn't have actual server for the internet wireless .They didn't do anythign about it.Basically they cheated and lied to us regarding internet service.
