Good stay, the staff was friendly and helpful in suggesting places to eat nearby. Was a bit turned off by weird, slightly sewage-y smell from drain when the tap was turned on, and looking up to see peeling paint on a few spots on the ceiling.

Excellent Hotel in a Great Location

The location is Great, but the City Fathers of North Bay, have decided that it would be dangerous to come off of Hwy # 11 and make a left turn into the Hotel entrance. Instead you either have to pass the hotel and make a u-turn and come at it from the other direction or take the second side street and enter from the back and zig-zag through the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot. Hotel up to usual standard except no in-room fridge, told they were waiting delivery? Pool was nice, breakfast buffet running short of food Sunday morning. We were annoyed when we were locked out with inoperative keys and desk staff told us they didn't know that we were staying over in our pre-paid room. Access from street when coming off main highway is very tricky.

Best hotel in N. Bay

Well worth the extra $ as most of the hotels in town are older. Only complaint is the air conditioning was cranked in all hallways while it was only 9 degrees out. We told the front desk lady who just said 'oh the cleaning staff must have done that.' No offer to turn it down. If that's my only complaint, they've done a great job!

Great staff, good clean very clean and up to date rooms! beautiful hotel and the best hot free breakfast anywhere! the only thing is the room needs a small fridge, we stayed three nights so we had to get a cooler and make sure it was packed with ice for our small groceries. Very nice place and staff was great

There was a wedding party there when we checked in ... got a room across from them and the young people were noisy and partying ... we were tired ... the staff found us a new room right away and we had a great evening. Accommodations were really great.

Nice place to stay in North Bay

While not downtown, this Hampton is complete enough and in the middle of enough to make it a desirable place to rest your head. Especially nice is the standing discount should you choose to eat at one of the neighboring restaurants (15% off). The hotel is clean and the service is efficient.

Clean, Comfortable, Friendly

My family stayed here as a stopover on a drive and had an excellent experience. The hotel staff was really friendly, the pool was perfect for kids (included pool noodles and water wings), the fitness center was small but comfortable, and the location was convenient. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed 2 separate nights and enjoyed our accomodations both times.Rooms clean,comfortable,quiet, and beds very comfortable and I have a bad back.Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Great location and good for a stop-over

Stayed on July 14th for one night as we passed through North Bay. The location was great, just off the highway, and the pool, complimentary breakfast buffet and very comfortable beds made it a perfect rest stop. The staff were very pleasant and the room was spotless.

Nice place to stay

Room was nice and clean and appealing, complementary breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were here for our nephew's wedding and they placed most of his guests on the same floor which was fun.

Excellent hotels

This is the second time staying at a Hampton Inn. We really like them, the breakfast is really great. Everything is clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly. We have already booked into the same hotel again in 3 weeks time. The only thing this place doesn't have is a slide in the pool area but not many of the hotels around North Bay seem to have slides. The kids still enjoyed their swim.

Everyone went out of their way to make help me out and make my stay easier, from finding out when the restaurants in the area closed, to holding my bag for me after I had checked out so I wouldn't have to bring it with me to my job interview. I give the staff an A+

Decent, but washroom & internet need help

Overall, staff is great and hotel is clean. Washroom is poorly maintained (drain was clogged, and shower water pressure is terrible. Internet service is extremely slow .. and that was using the hard wire connection.

This hotel goes above and beyond to make sure guests are well taken care of during their stay. They go above and beyond by having the little extras (i.e. great toiletries, coffee, fruit and cookies available for guests all of the time, etc.). I would recommend to anyone going to the North Bay area.

Hilton have a standard that they follow and so everything was of high quality. The front desk service was so friendly that you were put to ease from the get go. Clean no pristine would be what I would use. I even walked around in my bare feet

The staff was very nice during a difficult stay for our family's loss. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was very nice and accomodation to our schedule. We stay at Hamptons when ever possible. You know the beds are clean & comfortable. The staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast is plentiful with a good variety for everyone, local & Toronto star newspaper available for guests. They provide what they promise.
