When we travel to Victoria we always stay at the gingerbread cottage. Vanessa's Egg Benedict is the best I have ever eaten. My wife raves about her ham and cheese omelet. The rooms in the B&B are very comfortable and inviting.

Its very close to the beach and a short walk to the museum and the inner harbour.

Vanessa and Dean are a lovely couple and they really took care of us when we visited Victoria over the weekend. They are all about hospitality. They had no problems checking us in early AND providing us with breakfast on the day we arrived.

Vanessa's breakfasts alone is worth the price of the stay (which is reasonable for such a touristy town and a steal if you consider the service). On top of... more

I just got back from Victoria, BC a week ago and I can't stop telling people about this place! It was welcoming and cozy from the get go, and everyone was so right about the breakfasts! Vanessa, a professional cook and baker, made every meal with her loving care. I'm usually not a breakfast fan, but the homemade apple strudel, granola, scones, and omelets were too much to resist.

We stayed in the Lavender room (highly recommended) at $150 CA / night, for 3 nights and 3 AMAZING breakfasts was more or less the deal of the century, especially in the heinously expensive city of Victoria.
