A big dump

This place is just a DUMP. This place is not fit for even for pigs. We had no heat, no hot water. They had to bring a heater. I had to clean, the bathroom before using it. Had to make my own bed. Georgina Resort (Don't Stay Here!)

This is the worst Resort I have ever been too. The pool was closed and the resort is under renovations. No maids, stained carpets, broken glass on the door entrance and garbage everywhere! We were booked for 4 nights but left after two due to the horrific conditions. I would not recommend this resort to anyone!

This HOTEL is a DUMP that should be condemed and burned. Place is very old tired and should never be used a hotel. Doors wouldnt lock - Windows didnt lock - Staff routinely jumped through the window next to the door to get in when doors wont open. Dirty carpet, mold in shower & sink, room & amenities not as advetised.

A disaster

Stay away from this hotel. The room was very shabby and cold, and the staff were unable to provide directions to local sites. When I arrived there was no phone service, no functional television, and no hot water. I checked out rather than spend a night there.

terrible service

My stay was terrible. Their were bugs in behind the drapes. At the the front desk I met the owner who could barely undrstand english. The indoor pool was not open yet. No ice machines. Dark hallways, leaving an "insafe feeling" and the area by the lake was filled the pet droppings.

Three days off seson

This place is more suitable for ice fishermen in the winter. It might be quiter nice in the summer. WE were the only or practically the only customers, and thus the level of service might have been tayored to this.

Gross!!! Dirtt!!! Nasty!!!

I would never ever recommend this hotel... There were big stains of god only knows what all over the carpet, black mold on the celling and the whole place smelled of mold and dirty. So not worth the price paid!!

Beautiful spot. Very badly in need of a facelift, interior and exterior.

Needs help

We were at this same hotel 4 years ago for a wedding and it was lovely. Right on the Lake and not very far from our cottage. We lent our cottage to our nephew and his family and as this hotel was close to where we were dropping off the bride & groom thought it was just the place. Georgina Resort and Conference Centre

The location was good, the room was large and overall clean but the bedsheets did not seem too clean and they were torn. The outside appearance of the resort - needed alot of maintenance. The grass needed to be cut and weeds pulled....The exterior of the resort is in much need of a clean paint job....All I kept saying for the location of this resort, it has alot of potential..Outside our door... more

You can tell that this resort was once a wonderful, clean and modern hotel. It has been years since this hotel has had any upgrades whatsoever. We went through 3 rooms while we were there for 2 nights.The staff will bend over backwards to help you with anything you need but if you consider youself a low maintenance person, you will not find this hotel satisfactory. Definately "rustic" but clean...not really a conference centre-more like a nicer carpark motel. The waterfront was pretty and the people that were staying there were obviously regulars - and very friendly.
