A large selection of European style clothing, small selection of accessories and shoes. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.
The building used to be Tiffany store - the third floor that Tiffany used for their offices, is now used for men's wear while bottom two floors are for women's wear.
I didn't see many fitting rooms, so it must be very crowded on weekends (I came on my lunch break on...

My brother makes fun of me so hard for shopping here all the time, he says it's "white people clothing" - but if white people know how to do sizing, comfort, and quality right, then I'm all for their clothing.
All the items I have ever bought here have been comfy, durable, and wearable. Gap isn't fashion forward or trendy, but it's perfect for basics. They also have really nice underwear and...

The Gap. For a Bloor St. uber prime location at Bay St., this location has to be one of the most unorganized, messy, Gap stores I have ever shopped in!
I have been a customer here on and off for a couple of years, and on top of the terrible merchandizing (which looks more like a bargain bin store as opposed to BLOOR St. expectations), every few months, just for fun (?), they change the men's...

A dump and an embarrassment to all Gap stores. We were in here to look for a few shirts and found nothing because the whole store looked like a tornado hit it. See pics. Clothes were all in a pile, no staff around to help. Steer clear.
This review is for this particular Gap location more than for Gap overall.
We all know what Gap is. I've been to Gaps in many cities across North America, including New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC, Minneapolis, Vancouver BC, and elsewhere in Toronto, and I've shopped Gap online quite a bit. In fact, over 50% of my wardrobe--especially for casual clothes, fitness clothes,...

This is one of those companies that help you position yourself better on the job market if your employer lets you go with a package. Essentially your former employer hires this company for a few months to help you not commit suicide due to unemployment stress lol . DBM refers to your situation as "transition period in your career". They provide various resources to help you find a new job:... more
Super friendly staff, great store layout and a huge selection.
I love their coloured jeans, basic tshirts, shoes and workout clothes! This place was iconic growing up (everyone owned a Gap sweatshirt) and is making a serious come back.
This location in particular has it all. It's worth stopping in, especially around TIFF, because there's the added bonus of the frequent celebrity spotting.
If...

As of Feb, 2012 there are $10 long and lean jeans on sale. Dark indigo. RUN kids, don't walk! Amazing.
I'm not going to do a regular review. It is what it is. It's great for basics. Their T-shirts and jeans fit and they're comfortable. And if a jean is $10, I'm buying. My T-shirt was $22 which is more than double the price. Ridic.
Though the cashier could stand to be a little less snobby. If...

I visit this particular store fairly regularly and it threw me off the other day when I went in as they've rearranged the store. The men's section is now completely located on the second floor. It is no longer split between the main and lower floors which is nice. I can go upstairs, find what I need, try things on, pay, and get out without having to tromp all over the store.
Well done Gap.
I like this store. I can easily avoid the sections I don't want to visit. Get what I need and get out. The staff are always friendly, which is pretty standard for Gap, but still appreciated.
The store has never been overly busy when I've gone. This is a nice change to the ones in the malls which are always swarming with people.
This store is NOT handicap accessible.
1) I could not locate a handicap button at the entrance
2) Once you are in the store, you have to climb a few steps to enter into the area with merchandise. I did not see a ramp.
I felt a little discriminated against ... its kind of sad that Gap would design their store in such a way.
I mean, I'm not a huge fan of Gap in the first place, but with all the different types of black trousers they have, and my need for dress pants, I thought it might be a good match.
My in and out visit turned into an hour ordeal as they were having a 40% off the whole store.
Yes, even though there was lineups for the cash and fitting rooms, I was mighty impressed with the girl managing the...

Gap has rightly earned the status of a cult brand. Because of its distinctive designs and styles it has won young hearts around the globe. The Bloor Street West location of this fashion brand offers customers a convenient shopping experience in a spacious store. They do change the store layout quite often but the offerings remain targeted towards men, women, girls, boys and children. And if you... more
