Clean and comfortable

Although a bit of a drive to attractions we found hotel clean, staff friendly and our stay was very good overall.

We had an appointment with our toddler at the IWK and needed to stay not too far from Halifax. This hotel was only a few minutes drive from Halifax and a loss less expensive than the Hotels right in the city. We will definitely book there when we come back to Halifax.

Although the hotel is located close to peninsular Halifax, it takes an hour during rush hour to get there. The breakfast, which was included with the room was more than adequate for a couple of seniors.

Got a nice surprise when we stayed here for a week.Hotel staff were very friendly,very helpful with tips on what to see in Halifax and surrounding area. Convenient

This was our first stay at this hotel and we found it very convenient to shopping, restaurants and family. The staff was friendly, professional and responded quickly to one or two small requests we made.

Cigar smoke

Our first room smelled of cigar smoke and we requested a move. All staff were very friendly and attentive. Free breakfast was great and so was the coffee.

Nice hotel, central to everything.

We flew in to Halifax from Ontario for the purpose of moving our son to a local University. We had appointments on campus, located in central Halifax, as well as a great deal of shopping to do at big box stores. We were able to get everywhere we needed to be easily, and accomplished everything stress-free.

Handy location for us.

We wanted to visit downtown and South Shore so this location worked for us. Didn't care for the restaurant but fortunately there is a Cora breakfast near by. Overall I would say average to slightly above average so I scored it 4's out of 5.

Great hotel - the only word of advice is to bring your own corkscrew. We brought wine thinking that the front desk would have one if we needed it, and they looked at us like we crazy!! Other than that, lovely.

Nice and clean close to downtown.

The room was large and clean. Nice Keurig coffee maker in room and a small fridge. Beds were very comfortable and lots of pillows. For breakfast which is included you get to choose from the restaurant either eggs with all the fixens or continental style.

The room was suppose to be an executive room but it appeared like a sub standarded room. The room had ugly old red carpets that looked worn out and stained

We booked into the lst floor. Shortly after a large dog entered the room across the hall. Then another dog in another room started barking and never stopped for sometime. The room smelt like wet dog. Best sleep ever after 2 nights of camping!

So we stayed here after a very cold, wet camping experience and I had the best sleep of my life. The beds were huge and so comfortable. Our stay included breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and it too was very good. highly recommend and I would stay there again

Great place to stay

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean/comfy, and the on-site restaurant was pretty good as well. My favorite part about the stay was the staff. They were very welcoming at check-in, offered to print up any directions I may need while in the area, and recommended a couple places to see on our visit.

There are two Future Inns in the Halifax / Dartmouth area. I only stayed at the Halifax location, so that's all I can comment on.

The hotel is very new, clean, and well designed. The rooms are big, you get a good selection of channels on the TV, water pressure is acceptable, the iron works, and all the bathroom fixtures are new and functioning. What else could you want?

There is nothing fancy about this hotel, it is in a great location, the rooms were average, slightly dated - the option for pay per view movies that were still in the theatre was a bonus. I stayed here with my family for a night and we wished that we could stay there more longer. Spacious room, very clean especially the washroom and very comfortable beds and pillows.
