Nice bar, with good wait staff and ice cold beer. Friendly bartenders with a good location. Maybe a little bit pricy, but ehh it's Canada
I agree with the review by "SarahG". There are far better places to spend your money for a casual night out. Food on the menu was predictable with lots of traditional "pub fare". The food was mediocre at best, but the biggest problem was the server. She was not friendly at all and there was no attempt to be engaging.... more
Popped in for a spot of lunch into this pub. A waitress said we could sit wherever we wanted and she would be with us in a minute, she was as good as her word and brought menus and took a drinks order. I ordered the shaved beef with pub chips, I asked for the beef to be well done... more
Note this is a pub - and a good one at that. Beer, Bangers and Mash, Sheppherd's Pie, Burgers and Fries. This is a simple wholesome pub. Not fine dining, but good food. They have added the usual upscale attempts to the menu: Calamari, Mozz Sticks etc.
If you want a fancier restaurant then this is not for you. Good...

A very enjoyable pub with a good selection of beer and a friendly staff. For that, this pub is worth a stop if you are in the area. The pub grub is adequate but not as inspired as some of the others I sampled this trip.
we had our suitcases in tow as we had a hotel so far from downtown that we couldnt afford to go back and get it later before leaving town.
the staff was fine with that.
the owner came right over and asked where we had stayed and made recommendations for next time.
we ordered our food.
he came back with...

Two kids meals work out to $7 each - good portion sizes for kids and nachos are crazy portion size (large) - good value good atmosphere and good location
washrooms a little stinky
We weren't sure what to expect. We just knew we were hungry. The service was really good and the food was excellent. Me, my girlfriend and our girls were all extremely pleased with our meals. The Moosehead beer was a bonus. A good time was had by all.
We went into this Fox for Karaoke night on a Friday. It's called PeteRockRadio and the guy running it is definitely the most entertaining (if not slightly crude) individual I've seen run a karaoke show. The talent ranges from your basic tone-deaf drunken delinquents to some pretty decent performers. Just have fun!
They do have table service in the area,...

Noisy but fun. Food is predominantly something with chips and freezer to fryer style. Buzzing atmosphere and great staff.
They have ants in the building and when you find them in your food.. you still have to pay for your entire meal! They are beyond cheap and the service is terrible. One of the managers/bartenders looks constantly stoned out of his mind and has 0 personality and the other girls that work there don't know what a smile is... more
Stopped in here for lunch with a colleague. They had average bar food. They did have a fairly impressive line up of beers on tap with plenty of local brews. I had the chicken salsa wrap, it had a heavy taste of chili powder, but was good. Fries were plain cut steak fries. The server could have been a bit... more
Sunday $12.99 premium pitchers. Monday $11.99 domestic pitchers. Monday and Thursday 2 for 1 wings night and they have other deals everyday it's worth it.
This is a good place to go if you want good beer and wings. The prices are reasonable too and the severs are very pleasant. It is righth across the street from the Wellesley subway station so it is at a good location as well.
This pub is located on York Mills just East of Don Mills Road in the North York part of Toronto. It is part of a chain so these comments relate only to this location. My liver & onions was excellent ... plentiful, tender & nicely presented. The beef fajitas were sizzling hot and it too was nicely presented. The Red... more

Toronto’s 20th Fox and Fiddle serves up the same great English pub fare minutes from the Church & Wellesley village. The new Fox has replaced Fiddler’s Green and renovated the space to establish the pub group’s signature style (plaid-skirted waitresses and all).
The Fox serves cold brews on draught and a large menu that includes a Philly steak sandwich, nachos, souvlaki, wings (with 13...

Situated in a century-old (1873) building directly across from the Wellesley subway station Fox & Fiddle is a brand new location which was renovated entirely to perfection on the traditional British-style pub concept. It is one of Toronto’s favourite neighbourhood bar and restaurant and Fox and Fiddle –Wellesley has earned a reputation for great food in a casual atmosphere.
Fox and Fiddle is a restaurant where most Menuism users came for fun with friends, paid less than $10, and tipped more than 18%.
