Love this place

I love this hotel. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is for the price. But it is perfectly located downtown and everything you need is there. Good service, nice rooms . A lovely splurge.

For over 30 years now, the Four Seasons has reigned as one of Vancouver's top hotels with its lively restaurant, bright rooms, and serene decor. From the outside, this huge high-rise hotel across from the Vancouver Art Gallery is rather unappealing. But the large, light-filled rooms are wonderfully comfortable with superb beds and interesting views of downtown with glimpses of the mountains.... more

Four Seasons' impeccable service and a great downtown location are the main draws at this 373-room property. The hotel is impeccably maintained, and the staff is ready to assist with just about any request (for example, the kitchen will gladly put together a picnic in a sporty backpack if you plan to go on a hike in Stanley Park). A $20-million renovation in 2009 updated the 35-year-old decor,... more

Fantastic Stay in Four Seasons Vancouver

Great Food and better service. Ask to sit in Ian's station. He made our evening, by sharing his knowledge of BC wines and the food at Yew. Also gave us some fun places to have lunch at on our wanderings around Vancouver.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel exceeded my expectations.

Cons:

Four Seasons Service, but not their best property
May 31, 2014

There are many reasons one chooses a Four Seasons property over, say, a Motel 6: location, service, room amenities, room size, and more. Haven't been to or even stayed at the Four Seasons forever, now it was the time of year to do some corporate stuff so I decided to accommodate some guests at the FS again. I was imagining that after the 'Olympic Renovations' something huge would evolve out of this dated but very nice and centrally located property. I'm a complete freak for hotel rooms and that's normally the most important thing to me when rating a hotel. So, I'm a little surprised to find myself giving 5 stars to a hotel that has nice, but not amazing, rooms. However, everything else here is so slick and perfect that I have to give it the top rating.Don't get me wrong, the rooms aren't bad or anything. They're not huge, but certainly not... more

There are 4 things that I look for in the hotels I stay at: 1. Customer Service - This is first and utmost important. Pretty much anything can be resolved with excellent customer service, as far as I'm concerned. 4. Cleanliness - I want to be able to eat off the ground.. in the bathroom.. or anywhere! LOL 3. Comfort - If I'm comfy, I'm usually happy. 4. Convenience and value - If I am staying... more

We found a great deal for a trip to Vancouver which included the Four Seasons. After staying here for three nights, we learned how efficient everything was around the hotel. Caveat: I stayed here on business, so not paying my own way.The Four Seasons was super shwank. Our rooms were pretty reasonable (negotiated biz rates) given how posh. I had a mini-suite with two rooms and two bathrooms and pretty awesome floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Downtown. NICE!The service is incredible here and I would highly recommend staying if you can get a good deal.

Very expensive, but somehow it didn't feel accommodating.  Pluses: + admirably quiet+ room was clean+ bed was very comfortable.Minuses: - They charge $12/day for Internet access, which is infuriating; at cheaper places it's generally free.- No charm; building is institutional- Nothing delightfulSo overall, not _bad_, but just way overpriced.

Watch as I boldly don't give the Four Seasons 5 stars.  Here's why.1. When I'm already paying Four Seasons' prices for my room, charging me for wireless internet is an unnecessary boot to the butt.  Red Roof Inn throws that stuff in for free.  Or so the commercials say, as I wouldn't stay at one for reasons unrelated to their "free internet" policy but closely related to their "screaming... more
