Opened in late-2012, this gleaming, 55-story tower in the leafy Yorkville neighborhood is the long-awaited new Toronto home for the luxury brand, with interiors by noted hospitality design firm Yabu Pushelberg and two restaurants overseen by chef Daniel Boulud. Located in the epicentre of TIFF universe in Yorkville. Blue Chippers conduct some may-jah business ventures in a setting of old world elegance. Service is top notch but with the 2007 opening from younger competitor, The Hazelton, rooms at the Four Seasons are getting wrinkly in its older age. With the exception of certain suites, once the hotel is renovated within the next 2 years, it will be... more
I travel a lot, which means I get the opportunity to experience varying levels of quality when staying at a hotel. The name, "Four Seasons" should evoke an impression of high quality, and in Toronto they validate all the great things you expect from Four Seasons.
Located in Yorkville, my favorite (exclusive) area of Toronto. I've stayed at a few Four Seasons and this is the one I like the best. Don't worry they are all excellent.
A great pampering hotel to stay at (even if it is mostly at night) so during the day you can see all that Toronto has to offer. Tons and tons of shopping night life and eateries.
Concierge was very helpful and really just all...

I was hesitant to review as I communicated directly with the hotel regarding our previous experience and they were very apologetic. This is the second disappointment and again their communication system is poor and we are left waiting after calling ahead and confirming pick up. Advice - do what you say you will do. Big kudos to the parking valet. Fabulous service!!
I recently had the opportunity to stay a long weekend at the Four Seasons in Toronto. My experience was typical of previous stays I've had at their other properties.......excellent. There is an Asian influence with the design of the lobby and hotel. The concierge actually told us that they used the Hong Kong property as sort of a model for the new property in Toronto.
The room was a little...

I was only here for one night and have found myself at several Four Seasons locations over the past several years and this one seems to fit well into the other experiences that I have had. Spacious rooms, great service, comfortable and quiet. Interesting to see an iPad in the room to be able to order room service off of -- not sure if it did anything else or how well it worked as I did not use... more
Stay here regularly for work and this is hands down the best hotel in the country. All the staff are charming, the service is top notch, the amenities are beautiful.
The concierge was on point. Most concierge at fancier hotels have little knowledge of what's good outside of the overpriced options and places usually frequent but the ladies at the front desk helped us plan our few days in Toronto and provided some excellent recommendations that really brightened our stay in Toronto. The room were very, very comfortable and service overall was quite good.
Make sure youre a baller/shot caller or your credit will go down 0 to a 100 real quick (drake voice) the bar is pretty chill and you see all kinds of people from rich asians to random accountants. Personally I never slept here because for 1000$ a night I can get an all inclusive vacation to mexico and get fed unlimited tequila shots on the beach by maria hernandez lol. Plus if you get lucky... more
This hotel certainly lives up to its reputation. From the friendly staff to its many amenities, The Four Seasons provides a comfortable stay from start to finish.
The room was immaculate and boasted an impressive bathroom, sitting area and exceptionally comfortable bed. The bathroom has a television built into the mirror, which I used while getting ready. Each room is equipped with an iPad...

Lovely hotel, very modern and luxurious. The room was beautifully appointed and had all the expected modern amenities. Perfectly located within walking distance to nice restaurants and shopping. Nice bar and cafe within hotel premises. The staff was pleasant and accomodating.
The hotel deserved the highest ratings in every category. This is a top notch place and worth the money. I cant say enough good things about it.
What a privilege to stay at this beautiful hotel. As it happened, I started my vacation at this hotel, and the splendid, very spacious room was an excellent place to finish those last-minute work matters. The décor in the room was elegant earth tones with a hint of gold. The front desk staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Daniel Boulud has two restaurants in the hotel--sufficient... more
location is perfect. service from the door men and or parking attendant can be improved.
We were visiting family members who just had a baby. I brought my daughter and we stayed at the Hotel because of its location, which is close to where the baby was. This is not your boutique Hotel and maybe more suitable for business traveling, given the sleek look and the luxury feel. But there were many guests with kids and the staff is extremely polite and accommodating. They gave us extra... more
This is the nicest hotel that I've stayed at. I had a good company rate and I've had numerous 3-4 night stays. The staff was very polite. The bathrooms are beautifully done.
The biggest surprise is that the gym is fully stocked! It was almost like it was a full-service gym.
We decided to stay at the new Four Seasons and we weren't disappointed. Everything was first class from the decor to the rooms to the service. Walking distance to the Yorkville area and shopping on Bloor St. We will definitely be back!
Phenomenal facility. We were well taken care of by the staff. Room was beautiful and well appointed.
Staff, and everything at he hotel were amazing. My dad enjoyed staying there.
We stayed here on an arctic-vortex-infused staycation weekend during the slow season. That's why I was so surprised when we were up-sold to a larger suite and the staff all but vanished. During slow season, I kind of expect the staff to stick around and show me around a little, especially when it's my first stay (see earlier reviews on Hazelton and Trump). Suite finishes are decidedly... more
Wonderful hotel. Beautiful, sophisticated, and elegant--from the lobby to the rooms. The hotel bar and restaurant are excellent. Perfect location if you are working downtown in Toronto. Professional staff and great service.
I can't wait to go back.
Good hotel, just not good the parking lot. In the very good and safety living area. Across the hotel have a nice super market and a lot of good and different eating area.
Both restaurants were supreme, the spa and pool were deluxe and the in-hotel shopping was superb...we are residents of Toronto and can highly recommend the Four Seasons Toronto!
This hotel was amazing from the service at the front desk, complimentary car service, food and drinks...made us feel like $100 bucks!
The hotel is in the heart of Yorkville, about 10 minutes away from the harbour front and the financial district. I liked the location of the hotel and that it is seperate from the main tourist areas. Although the hotel has boring traditional decor, I thought the rooms were large.
This hotel is the original property in the Four Season's luxury chain, and it looks a bit out-dated for a hotel...

I recommend this hotel to everybody. I was only 2 nights here and it was for certain one of the best customer service experiences.
For example they all seem to know your name, making me wonder if they embedded a chip in me or something. After checking in at the desk the representative Florencia came from around the front of the desk and escorted me to the elevator and explained all the other...

With the flagship hotel here in Toronto, this might be the best Four Seasons in Canada if not the world for it's impeccable service, location, and just plain luxury !!!! I was invited to attend the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business gala dinner and Toronto and it was arranged for the Four Seasons Hotel. This hotel is highly recommended for business travellers. Even though i live in Toronto, i had the opportunity to stay in this hotel once since my dad worked here receiving a good discount. But this hotel can be on the pricy side. Ranging from $80-$500 Cdn a nite per room.

room was under the gym so it was an early wake up call on Saturday morning, so much for sleeping in.
Another great visit on NYE. The concierge remembered us from a few nights before. We got upgraded again. Special in-room treat on NYE. The party at the bar was open to guests staying at the hotel. The hostess was great in accommodating us with a table, even when 2 friends showed up an hour before midnight. Easy check in and out process.
Just like the name suggests, it's open all four seasons of the year.
New is not always better. dBar does not have the same feel as Accent the old Four Seasons classy bar . Slinky girls have replaced the seasoned bar & wait staff. One does not feel as welcomed as before. Perhaps in time things might change but in the meantime...there is always the Shangri-La Toronto.
Excellent midtown hotel. Got upgraded which was very nice. Cool after work club veryyyy comfortable bed
hard to locate because of unfinished construction. staff was very eager to please. Yorkville comparable to Madison ave.
Very classy decor, top-notch service, impeccable atmosphere. Need we say more?
Absolutely beautiful from the common areas to the bedroom. The bathroom was so wonderful I wanted to transplant it to my home. (I'm stealing some ideas for my bathroom reno!). There's even a TV in the bathroom. A mini I pad is in the room - very useful. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. We ate breakfast one day and it was delicious. My recent stay at the Four Seasons Toronto was overall OK but not what I have come to expect from this brand:
The Check in
- Coming out of the cab the gentleman asked if he could help with my bag and opened/closed all doors for me. He was very plesant. However, upon walking me into the hotel, he just kind of left me at the door with no direction on how to get to the check-in desk which was a...

I'm posting this on behalf of my father-in-law.
We ate here with two of our grand kids, and unfortunately the experience was way below Four Seasons standards. This is probably the best luxury hotel we have stayed at, everything was amazing! Location is probably the best part. So close to public subway and wholefoods (good for kids' healthy meals) and pusateri's. Must try in the neighborhood Crepes GoGo and Mela the italian place on yorkville ave.
Different from some other Four Seasons with bigger lobby. Four Seasons Toronto feels more like a boutique hotel. Was disappointed with room make up as there was lack of kleenex and there was a hole in the bed sheet. I asked for quiet room but was put in a room that is directly facing a fire hall. noise was not excessive due to good quality of sound proof window
I knew I would like it when the concierge brought me fresh underwear before I even shook his hand. This is not always my litmus test for nice hotels, btw, but this was a special condition because my bag was lost, so the Four Seasons went out and got me a bunch of stuff so I could be fresh as a spring day.
I loved everything else about the hotel too. The decor, service, and everything was top...

Decided to do some pre new year restaurant hopping with my wife. First visited Shangrila . Lukewarm experience reviewed separately.

I was going to cut them some slack because the place only opened 2 weeks ago, but in my opinion if you call yourself a 5 Star Hotel and offer a 2 Star experience, you are going to get blowback - especially when a one hour massage costs over $200.

I arrived in Toronto having taken a 7:00am flight from Chicago after flying fron San Diego the night before. The compassion and grace of the reception staff was therapeutic for an exhausted soul. I was upgraded to a Queen suite and received "royal" treatment my entire weekend. I will insist on staying at the Toronto Four Seasons whenever I travel to the city!
We went for a short (2 night) New Year's Eve weekend stay and was very happy with this hotel. Staff was very attentive, room was great and fitness facilities were excellent. I highly recommend that all guests have Sunday brunch at the Avenue. I'm looking forward to another stay at the Four Seasons Toronto.
I love the Four Seasons Toronto. Yes, it is older and no they are not spending money upgrading as they are launching their new hotel in 2012. That being said they have adjusted their rates to reflect that. The service is great, The Studio Cafe is still fantastic and love the pool. Hazelton Lanes across is 70% more and is not worth the money. Cannot wait until they launch their new site.
A perfect experience! Great staff, wonderful location central to restaurants, shops and cinemas. Complimentary upgrade for our first stay there was a good surprise. In 2012 they are moving to their brand new building, just a few blocks away.
Beautiful surroundings, luxurious hotel. What more can you say? The Yorkville district is over the top. Loved it!
Did not make u room till 5:00PM that day. We came back to room after long day out wanting to lie down before dinner and had to stay out of room for another 45 mins. supposed to be a 4-5 star hotel. When we checked in they gave us a small room with 2 TWIN beds and an armoire with a TV. in it and out. (good view). Our stay here was perfect. We arrived in a bit of a hurry since my husband was excited to get to the UFC fights. Needless to say I left my make-up a little messy in the bathroom. Our stay at the Hotel on Saturday March 25 2011 was wonderful. The front desk people found out my daughter was doing an audition at a nearby facility. Best Staff and Hotel in Toronto - and one of the best bars late into the night
good shopping and restaurants nearby,
The Four Seasons Toronto is located in the heart of Yorkville, with the finest shopping and restaurants at your fingertips! The staff memebers were exceptional, as were the staying conditions. The room and the view were absolutely above what we expected! Dinner at the Studio Cafe was magnificent. Not a single conplaint! I would recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again!
Location was fantastic. Just very disappointed with the hotel itself. Not to sound "snooty", but rooms, elevators, etc. were similar to a holiday inn. Just not at all what we expected from a four seasons. This was to be a special trip and is why we splurged for the four seasons. Wouldn't stay there again for how much it was to stay and to eat lunch ($80, no alcohol). Maybe for half.
Four Seasons staff and facilities have always left me impressed; whether you have an expensive room or not, they are genuinely nice people.
I travel frequently to Toronto, mostly for pleasure and some for business. I prefer to stay in the Yorkville area due to the great variety of restaurants, shopping and nitelife. I have stayed at that hotel several years ago, and I like it a whole lot. The front desk staff was very helpful in accomodating my request for a smoking room, and to my surprise I was given a room with a balcony ( never... more
Concierge service was excellent, but I was annoyed that I had to go off-site for pilates, yoga, facial and massage. It also would have been helpful if concierge had menus for the restaurants which he/she suggested. Hostess in coffee shop was friendly, but the waiters ignored me when I came to breakfast alone.
Extremely disappointed with room..was suppossed to be premium room but was smaller than most and had no phone book or iternary for hotel. The french restaurant in the hotel was exceptional.
