This was a recommended stay for a hockey tournament in April, 2014. I was happy to see we had a Four Points recommended to us, as I'm an SPG member, and really like the Four Points brand. Unfortunately the property is an old bunker-style Holiday Inn that they've put lipstick onto, and to be honest, the lobby area was quite... more
we stayed there for 2 nights and everything was really good good location , not to far to Boonie doons shopping mall and bowling center. super and the breakfast buffet was really good . my really enjoyed the pool and the fitness room was good as well . we always go back to this hotel .
A decent hotel but certainly nothing remarkable. The air handling units in the rooms are an impediment to restful sleep until you get used to them. The room we were in also had a strange smell which did not dissipate over time.
I have never been dissapointed by a Four Points hotel; and it has proven to be one of the better hotel chains out there. Stayed here while helping a friend move to Edmonton. Price was $125 for the Sunday night.
Positives:
- Free parking
- Free internet
- Mini fridge in room
- Beautiful lobby/ main floor
- Great room...

We checked out the 2nd day due to room smell, wheelchair access was too small and the next morning while going to my vehicle there was at least six people arguing in main entrance into the motel. I made the decision to leave and was able to find a more accessible room for my mother who is dying of cancer... more
Super nice staff and very attentive. Comfortable spacious rooms. Staff and areas have excellent attention to detail, complimentary tea/coffee etc. They seem to really be making an effort to go above and beyond, including helping out with our talk we had in the evening. Only issue was freezing overflowing hot tub (glitch?) but that was not a big deal to... more
I stayed here for one night. The staff was very friendly upon check-in and checkout. The hotel and my room was very clean but just average. I would have no problem staying here again but I would check out other Starwood hotels first.
I was only here for one night and did not get to explore the hotel too much. There’s honestly nothing in the area to walk to or do. I’d expect you’d only stay here if you’re in the area for business.
There’s a pub in the hotel so you don’t have to leave (there’s a Wendy’s in the same lot...

A group of 18 of us stayed here. Two of our rooms on two different floors were broken into and robbed. The police are investigating and have a picture of the suspect taken from the security cameras. He is a man known to regularly deliver flyers in the hotel.
The doors on many of the rooms DO NOT close properly....

the hotel is old and tired. There is substantial wear in the rooms, with the decor and the state of the furnishings. The wall paper was peeling in the room, there were stains behind the nightstand. the carpet was lighting and worn. the furniture was worn and scratch and in dire need of replacement. housekeeping could be trained better in... more
As the title says I spent 2 weeks at this hotel staff were very friendly were always happy to help in anyway they could. The quality of food was amazing especially sunday brunch. If I am ever back in Edmonton this is where im staying.
I stayed here overnight due to location near my office. Although the bones of the hotel are older, they have done a nice job updating the rooms to the new Four Points standards. The pub was good, bed was comfy, and front desk staff were engaging. If I needed to stay in the area, I would stay here again.
I had multiple business trips to Edmonton and I stayed at this hotel for three 2 week stays.
It gave me a chance to sample the full room service menu as well as the Sunday Brunch on multiple occasions.
I was very happy with the quality of the chef and his cuisine.

Greeted by friendly staff and provided an alternate room choice as large wedding had booked a number of rooms. Appreciated the accommodation made to the request. Room was nice but average. Clean but starting to look worn. Great value for the price.
We had to bring our daughter to Edmonton for a heart procedure, which dates kept changing. The hotel was great and very good about cancellation, like the day of. The hotel is, um, not new. The foray is fabulous, impressive even. There is a pub & full service restaurant. Staff really make you feel welcomed. Clean, bright rooms, hallways, common... more
Check in staff was wonderful! We were offered free tickets to the comedy festival even that was happening in the hotel which unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of. The food in the restaurant was exceptional! The lobby water wall is very pretty. The room was average but the beds were comfy and it was clean. We had to... more
I don't get the option of the one on argyll in the search for Edmonton, but I have stayed here twice. It's convenient to get downtown, out of the way, a little older but updated the same as all the other 4 points.
The lounge downstairs has good food and drinks. Service both times I stayed was excellent. Not really...

We have stayed here on a couple of different times. The overall of the hotel is excellent very clean and comfortable. It has a very nice lounge with big screen TVs to watch sports on, the breakfast buffet was not the best, but what was ordered off the menu was very good. The biggest disappointment on our last stay was... more
My sister had her wedding here instead of the traditional Chinese banquet. I had the opportunity to test the food a month before the day of the wedding day. Beef, salmon, chicken and their selections of vegetables were excellent. I asked the coordinator to make sure that the quality stayed the same and it was.

The hotel is very simple in all its features. The room was very big and clean but noisy (I was on the side of argyll road). No fridge. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom very basic.
The hall is just a pass-through place, with no atmosphere.
The breakfast was good but with limited, basic selection.

Renovations are completed, great place to stay' great location to city centre, Whyte Ave or Sherwood Park. Great business hotel and location
Staff was very helpful, great pub next door, no need to drive, food was good also
I've stayed here for business twice and both times found the hotel to be more than satisfactory. First off, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly large, the beds are comfortable with nice duvets, and it's nice and quiet. Lots of free parking and free wifi. Will stay again next time I'm in town.
Older looking from the outside, the hotel is located in an industrial area and on the weekend we were there, it was full so it was difficultly to find parking. There is a Wendy's restaurant next door and within walking distance. Jeff was efficient an friendly upon checking us in. He provided directions and advised us of the hotel amenities.... more
Bed linens were excellent & clean. Front desk service was really good. Bathroom bright & updated. Flat screen tv. Brought a can of lysol spray and definately needed it to disinfect. I just had lunch in the restaurant of the Four Points by Sheraton iHotel n Edmonton, the one on 72 Street and Argyll Road. Service was prompt, my companions enjoyed their salads and sandwiches. We had our wedding at the hotel down stairs in the main ballroom. the room has been re-done and looks amazing. It has one of Edmonton's largest hardwood dance floor. For my standards, which are middle of the road, I would definitely stay at this hotel if I was in this area of the city again. Hadn't stayed at this hotel before, and it was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of parking, attractive decor in the lobby area. Staff at check in/out were competent if only average in friendliness. We use this hotel for all of our conferences and events in Edmonton. The staff is very accommodating and knows exactly what we need and want to make every event run smooth! We will continue to have our events at this location as we have established a great relationship with them.
If you are planning an event look no further than this hotel! Working with Tevra Graham the conference services consultant was a dream come true in the planning process. We were on the last leg of our road trip, and needed accommodation near Bonnie Doon mall. This was probably the closest, and very easy to get to the mall from here. We recently held a one-day conference at this property and can I say how amazing it was. In terms of service, food, decor, free parking - it was outstanding. We have all come to expect less than stellar service so what a pleasant surprise to learn that great customer service still exists. We will be sure to be back!
The Good:
- Location is good if you need accessibility within different areas the city.
- Staff are helpful and accommodating.
- Love the $5/250 Bonus Points Green option!
The Bad:
- Rooms are a bit worn. Mine was quite smelly with a very noticeable mildew smell that stayed in my clothes and hair after leaving (not very common in...

I stay in Edmonton quite often for work, and usually stay here. The hotel itself had some renevations recently which were well done. The location is good for what I need but if you need to be downtown, this isn't where you should stay.

Large rooms and comfortable beds. Staff are very helpful and check in and out was very fast. The "Green Option" is great and gives a $5 credit each day at the hotel restaurant. Every time we go to Edmonton this hotel is always our first choice.
Check In and Out was a breeze. Room was good (and quite large) although the electronic keys were not reliable. I changed them 3 times in one day. Possibly the carpet in our room was beyond its lifespan but no real biggie.

Travelled here with a hockey team. Last time I stayed here it was a little dumpy but the renovations have improved the property immensely. Not a terrific location (except for hockey tournaments)
Decent restaurant.
We are a volunteer organization involved in a technical industry. We recently hosted a 30-person training course at the Four Points, Edmonton South.
