Stayed one night midweek, wanting a quiet, restful place. This hotel was just what I needed.
Rooms are comfortable just for going to sleep. Halls did not have any ventilation system and smell badly
My family and I stayed here overnight because my daughter had appointments at the Alberta Children's Hospital the next morning. The staff was great, and all of our needs were met- especially after I forgot toothbrushes and toothpaste! They brought the toothbrushes and toothpaste right up to our room within minutes of requesting them. I asked about a late checkout, and was given one with no... more
Very professional and helpful staff. First class a pleasure to deal with
4 Points never disappoint. Extremely courteous staff, called up to see how room was....everything was great.
Just stayed for an overnight, but all was very good.
I stayed in a king room for an overnight business trip. Bed was comfortable with crisp white linens. Some noise from my neighbours in the adjacent room, but really not a big deal. The bathroom was semi-renovated - new sink, faucet and accessory baskets, but old mirror, tub and vanity. Didn't have a chance to use the pool. Grab and go breakfast available, two free water bottles in room.... more
Stayed 2 nights for wedding in October. A bit noisey if your room faced the highway but we just put our air conditioner fan on. Nice suite layout and great restaurant.
Room was well appointed -- rate was excellent. Got in on free appetizers and beer on Wednesday night.
The room was clean. Large room, large bathroom, balcony was ok. Big TV Single king size room was spacious and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel/room to anyone and everyone. kitchen closed a little early but very satisfied.
Was greeted at front desk with! What time will you be checking out. Then that night the hotel was surrounded by calgary police due to a disturbence, a man with a gun. Then night 2 the fire alarm went off and all had to leave the building. Worst vacation ever.
Dinner in the restaurant was good. Had the steak and a beer. Next morning the shower did not drain and I stood in a pool of water. The room smelled a bit like a locker room but was clean otherwise.
Very friendly staff. Reasonable rates. Enjoyed our stay. Our view was looking over the ski jump hill, which was nice, except it was noisy due to the highway. The internet was terrible and when your staying with teenagers it can get very annoying.
convenient location to COP area. In room AC unit noisy
Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were big, clean, and comfortable. Only downside was being next to a highway, a little loud but not too bad.
Our family loved the pool and water slide. My only complaint was that the elevator seems very sslloowww and exiting the hotel only through the front entrance seemed tedious. The breakfest buffet was only okay. But the rooms were great, the beds comfortable and the staff was nice.
It was nice to be so close to Calaway Park. Even though it is right along the highway it was nice and quiet. Liked the balcony with every room. We had fun in the pool, the kids really liked the water slide.
Hotel was nice, realitively clean and comfortable. A travelling companion found gum on their light stand. Other than that the hotel was fine.
Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room. Pool. Good for travelers who are passing through Calgary. Easily accommodated 4 adults.
This place is very nice and modern. The rooms are small especially for a family of four but it was do-able. The sink in the bathroom was really neat looking but not super functional. There was a balcony off of our room which we enjoyed. The hotel is conveniently located right off of 1 and right across from the Olympic park which we were visiting the next day. The pool was pleasant and had a... more
Wasn't impressed with having to pay more than twice the usual rate just because Stampede was on. Then to top it off we were asked to save the environment by not getting fresh fresh towels or our bed made. Had I known we wouldn't even get coffee I would have told them (oops can't print the rest) next time will try somewhere else
Our room was clean and enjoyable. The construction across the street was somewhat annoying, but it could have been worse and this isn't the hotels fault.
It was a nice hotel. Great staff! Very clean and quiet.
Stayed one night for hospital visit the following day.
Fairly nice accommodations and a good location to Olympic Park.
The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful! Great room, comfortable and clean!
Hotel was nice and clean. No continental breakfast, which I think should be included for the price. Rics grill attached to the hotel was reasonably priced but with a small selection. Pillows in rooms were very soft and they could not find a firm one to bring me. Pool staff security was sure to stop us from taking our beverages, even water in the pool area but was not concerned with the unsafe... more
Very nice hotel. Clean, comfy beds, nice lounge/bar. The only thing that could be improved was to have better lighting in the rooms. I would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable rooms clean,Front desk staff needs to be a little nicer... Location was excellent for are event... Restaurant was excellent ... Overall i recommend this Hotel Great stay!
Staff were very friendly. Stayed for 2 nights and room was kept very clean. A very excellent experience.
Just came to Calgary to visit friends, play golf and take in the mountains! Loved every part of our stay.
This was a first time stay at a Four Points. I travel for work and frequent many Hotels. I was a little puzzled and it was a first, to discover amoung the complimentary toiletries....Ear Plugs? I understood later....I could hear every single word spoken between the two ladies in the room next door! Extremely thin walls? I appreciated the big Screen TV, however would be nice to have the... more
Easy to find parking, staff was friendly and welcoming. Slide in the indoor pool was a great surprise for my two children. Wonderful stay!
Construction across the street and paper thin doors in the room. Apart from the sounds the rooms are very nice and the stay was comfortable overall.
I arrived at this hotel a little early due to a group that I delivered to McDonalds across from Canada Olympic Park for furtherance to Banff. I checked in, not expecting to be able to move in, however, my move in was seamless, with a very friendly staff whom even helped me park my motorcoach on their lot. Their location... more
I stayed at this property and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and accomodating and the renovations provide for an updated experience. Great location for me as it was close to my meetings. I didn't rate the spa as I did not use it. The gym is smaller but had everything I needed as seemed very clean. I woudl definitely... more
Always here on business trips.
Stayed on levels 2 and also level 3.
Facing the Olympic Park is always good but it can get a little noisy with traffic zipping by.
The windows or doors are not sound proof and hence the provided ear plugs.
Restaurant is always worth a visit, and ask for the daily special
My mom and I stayed here when we attended a show at Olympic Park. Upon walking into the lobby I was first impressed by the water feature and modern decor. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and by the time I finished checking in I not only had a room better than what I had reserved but... more
Hotel was easy to get to as we were just heading in for a quick stop over and it was nice to get to see the Olympic Park and still be close to amenities without having to go downtown. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were small but very clean. My husband thought the beds were really uncomfortable but I thought they were fine.
Basic hotel. Relatively simple rooms with good bathroom. Rooms do offer good amenities, such as mini-refrigerator and large flat-panel TVs. Service is good and friendly. On the downside: rooms are quite noise, especially the ones facing the high way; breakfast is sub-standard.
The distance to the location from the airport did surprise me but once I was checked in it became obvious the choice was the right one and the travel meant nothing. I'd book the same property again in a heartbeat. Rooms were large and clean, beds comfortable, washrooms well laid out with all the toiletries and desk large enough to... more
Was a great stay for me on business. Their was a free snacks at the restaurant attached the building one a couple nights. Paper was outside your room daily in the morning as well. The bed were extremely comfortable and your choice of coffee or tea in your room no charge above your mini fridge. If you have time to... more
My husband and I stayed here for a night with our 4 year old daughter on our way back home when it was getting fairly late; so we decided to call it a night.
At first I thought the prices were a little steep until we walked in. It was really nice inside! You immediately felt comfortable and at home....

Our room is great-balcony overlooking the 3 Olympic skijumps-breathtaking.The $15/pp buffet was not so great. Food that was available was decent however chafing pans were empty & always needing replenishment.
We stayed here for an overnighter tournament. Great location on the nicer side of Calgary. Close to amenities, McDonald's , gas station, Starbucks, Denny's. Over looks the Olympic park, if you ask for the view. Right off the Trans Canada Hwy 1. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. With a more modern flare. VERY clean. Comfortable beds.... more
The hotel is very typical of the Sheraton brand - quiet, comfortable beds and accommodating staff. The only downside was the onsite restaurant - the food is just okay and the staff don't seem too happy to be working there. There is a bar at the hotel next door which was better with their staff and their prices were much... more
Nice and clean hotel. Nice room size. Restaurant was ok. Friendly service as my reservation was screwed up but they fixed it. Great location especially if you are going to the Olympic park. It is close to the highway. Just be careful going up the slope/hill when driving.
We booked our vacation on hotwire.com and it was only a three star so we we're a little leery of staying at the hotel. When we arrived in the evening the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. They called our room as soon as we got in to make sure we we're satisfied. the bartending manager Robert was awesome... more
Very clean, comfortable, friendly and professional. Bed was very comfortable the room was very quiet, I slept like a log. Had my own deck which I thought was a very nice touch. Deck had two chairs and a little table. Room and hotel in general seemed well kept, stylish and new. Very nice for the price. I very much enjoyed... more
We were here in January for a ringette tournament. We checked in Friday afternoon and checked out 15 hours later. This was not long enough to enjoy all the hotel had to offer. The 2 Queen room was average hotel size with comfortable beds. There was a small balcony and plenty of counter space, as the tv was hanging on... more
Very convenient location for a stopover when travelling West. All staff were upbeat and helpful. The room was well appointed and beds are super comfortable. Like the convenient email checkout. Will make this hotel a regular pit stop.
I stay at this hotel occasionally for business. It is conveniently located close to highway one west (to banff) and Stoney Trail ( ring road). Have had breakfast from the buffet, was good, average priced. Rooms are nice with small balcony. Email check out is convenient. Free coffee in the lobby, which has several fireplaces and seating areas.
This must be the most expensive 4 points in the chain? Is it worth the money? Perhaps since it is clean, conveniently located for many things and the staff is friendly enough. Only one entrance which is terrible especially when the weather is cold and you are walking across a very windy parking lot
What a great spot. The view is spectacular. The service is outstanding. The coffee shop and the restaurant are first class. What a great deal. The spa area and pool looked very inviting and clean. The front desk staff were the best.
Nice location, relatively large hotel but nice amenities and professional staff. My only problem was that I booked the driver to pick me up at 11.30pm at night to go to the airport for a red eye - and after confirming it with the front desk staff - he did not show up and they had to call a taxi... more
Room was nice enough, highway noise didn't bother me however the restaurant food was awful. I was at the hotel for a two day meeting and due to time constraints was forced to eat at the restaurant on location. My pizza was filthy, the ahi tuna is cut wrong and that can make a world of difference in ahi tuna... more
I stayed here because we could not find rooms in my university hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my 2 children during my daughter's hockey tournament. We chose the location for proximity to Olympic Park.

The Sheraton Four Points West is a hotel dependable in all aspects...ambiance, cleanliness, service and proximity to points west in Calgary. Always love to stay here and enjoy the Sunday morning buffet with family and friends.
This hotel is ideally located on the Trans-Canada highway just on the edge of the city, but directly on the route for the Rockies.
Myself & friend shared a double queen bed room, comfy beds, large flat screen TV and coffee making facilities.
Bathroom small but kept clean with fresh towels daily.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Great location if you are in the City for a couple of days and are transiting out towards the Rockies with your hired car. We stayed here last weekend! Loved having a balcony even though we had a parking lot view :)
We loved the pool, the kids had a great time there! The location will keep us coming back to stay! Very convenient when we are on our way to BC!
Thank you for the very pleasant stay!
I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now, and we stayed here twice this summer. The first time I stayed there because I was attending a study workshop that was being held at the hotel. I paid a significant amount of extra money for the convenience of being right at the hotel and would not have paid... more
I have stayed at the Four Points Calgary West on several occasions. If given the choice I will choose another Sheraton property.

We stopped at a few other hotels in Calgary and kept looking before finding this one. While it is an older hotel that's been remodeled, the update was well done. Our room was clean and odor free. The décor is modern. The employee who checked me in was extremely friendly and attentive.
We were somewhat impressed when we arrived (large room, everything new and in very good condition), but it was the subsequent service that really went beyond expectations. They were terrific with little things like sourcing a mini screw-driver to change the batteries on my toddler's toy. We didn't think our room's mini-fridge was all that cold, so they promptly changed... more
Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. If you find yourself in the area you won't be disappointed. Rooms are very clean and recently renovated. Really good for the value. Stayed here for the night before Canada Day. Staff were very helpful giving us maps and directions and advice on food. Rooms clean and air conditioning good, needed as it was darn hot. I did not like the fact that the bed was put together with 2 flat sheets, was very uncomfortable.we hope next time to get a room with 2 queen beds.
We stayed in a 2 queen bed room with a sofa bed. The beds were comfortable, and the sofa bed must have been new, as it was the most comfortable sofa bed I have ever seen. The sofa bed area was separated from the rest of the room by a door. It worked out very nicely for us as our... more

Stayed here for the Stampede weekend and concurrent family reunion. The hotel was very clean, the staff friendly and we encountered no problems whatsoever.
