Ribs please

If you can control the temptation to eat all the food on your plate, good for you. I tried to finish it all, I wanted to finish it all, but I could not. Delicious ribs. Great BBQ menu and I loved the background music.

Authentic Southern flavour in an authentic Cape Breton town

Great Barbecue in Cape Breton

If you want a great pulled pork sandwich in Cape Breton you need to go here. It goes great with their Carolina sauce. Their sauces are homemade and taste so good. The staff was super friendly and offered us samples of the different types of chili and as much sauce as we wanted.
Will definitely go again.

Great Little Spot

If you like BBQ

I had their 2 meat combo....the brisket was really good, the pork to saucy I wouldn't get it again, I'd go with the chicken or just full order of the brisket.....the chili average and kind of pasty. Why they don't have a few tv's in the place to watch a hockey game/drink a beer; not really sure.

Great food

Went to Embers before a hockey game and enjoyed our dinner. . The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will go back for a second visit some evening very soon.

Great servive and food

The food here is exceptional and my favorite chinese restaurant in Sydney. I had a catering event for 11 people at lunch time and they even prepared the food earlier than there usual opening time and delivered it for me as well. The decor is lacking, but the food more than makes up for everything. The prices are a bit high for the area but you really do get your money worth. The meats (pulled pork, chicken, and beef) are great quality and you get lots of meat. That means a lot coming from me - I'm very picky and refuse to eat bits of fat or cartilage. I highly recommend the pulled pork poutine with a side of sour cream.

It's great to finally have something different in Sydney! The food is great, I'd recommend this to anyone!

Its a good start price are high but Cape Breton is a long way from suppliers. I would vote Embers a 3 out of 5. Would I go back Hell Yes.

Good but not somewhere I would go to often

If you're a meat eater you will love this place. It was good food but not somewhere I would go to often.....sides are very small and prices are a bit high I thought. Staff were very friendly and accommodating

Good but wouldn't go back

58 dollars later and served dry meat, a small little serving bowl of potatoes and a ketchup container of coleslaw! Not worth the money and taste is not outstanding. No need to tip because you basically serve yourself. Disappointing!!
