Hands down the best veggie burger I have had in North America . The balsamic , cheese and cranberry made this feels like heaven on buns. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful . Atmosphere: Serviceable - nothing to write home about (no pun intended). Americanesque in its decor; bar, high bar tables, booths, individual tables. The "den" (as I call it) that they have that looks out to De Maisonneuve is a great place to be on a cold snowy Montreal night though.

I've been going to Dundees since the late 90s. If you don't have kids in tow, the bar area is very cozy, the beer selection is very good, and the food is perfectly decent pub-type fare.

Unfortunately, none of the cozy aspects of the place are open to you if you go with a kid. It's like they try to get you as far away from the hub of activity as possible. Definitely not as enjoyable to be... plus

Amazing dessert

Had a meal at Dundees 15th Feb 14. Its a great place. It was busy with a good atmosphere. It gets a big thumbs up from me. I had one of the nicest gourmet burgers that I have ever had. Perhaps the best.

This bar and grill is located on the very busy Crescent street which is the "happening" street for night life in downtown Montreal. All of the best bars and patios are here. It's very expensive for the portions and the quality of food. If they are really busy (and they usually are) the service can be very slow. I wouldn't really say you have to try this place just for the fact that you can find better quality for the price you would pay here.

This was an easy spot to get to from our hotel and there were always tables available. The food was decent, nothing fantastic, but still tasty. The servers were extremely friendly, especially the "new girl". We went there twice in one day and enjoyed both visits.

Dundee's is another restaurant/bar on jumping Crescent street in downtown Montreal.
