Vacation Break
August 06, 2014We stopped at Don Cherry's for lunch on our way home from camping at Killbear. Small portions of food for the price but it was tasty. We were with three of our young grandkids (ages under 7) and they were treated extra special! Lots of attention and activities to keep them busy which we were grateful for.

Great Ambience

Fun place, good wings

In this summer this place becomes something of a local hangout for the staff at nearby summer camp's, and can be a lot of fun.
Food and service are just ok, I definitely recommend the Chicken Wings

Your Basic Bar and Grill
July 14, 2014Good place to go to with friends to watch some sports. Food was a little pricey. I recommend the chicken tortellini alfredo (meal) and SPINACH dip (appetizer). My boyfriend got the wrap and wasn't very impressed. Service is a little slow, so don't go there hungry. Friendly staff, just slower service.

Good lunch option if you are downtown
July 14, 2014We dived into Don's during a lunchtime rainstorm. I had the grilled bacon, cheese and tomato sandwich. Wheat bread was perfectly done, cheese was fully melted. Filling but not noteworthy

My hamburger was overdone, the fries and gravy were good. Service was friendly but a little slow.
Would I go back? Probably not. It was not bad but there are better options in town.

Mouth watering eats

Embarrassing
April 09, 2014I have tried this restaurant a few times and it doesn't get better. Tried take out and there was barely a pound of wings in the polystyrene container when I got home. Tried eating in and the food was cold when it got to my table. Granted it was a busy evening in the summer.

Staff & most customers are rude & unfriendly
January 27, 2014Yes there are big screen tv's for sports, but that's about it. It's dirty, the decor is old and shabby and the food is very poor quite often. If you are looking for good quality food at a reasonable price with friendly people try Wellingtons, Memories of Muskoka, Trappers Choice or Boston Pizza.

Waiting for Willie Nelson
June 20, 2013Willie was performing at the Mecca of Hockey in Parry Sound the Bobby Orr Centre. Don Cherry's was within walking distance. We had great Pub Grub . The service was a little slow however the food was worth the wait. Our server Shelby was very busy and had to be asked for water refills and finally brought a pitcher.

Desperation to win money from the races, desperation to make as much money they can from over-priced domestic beer and sub-par food.
