Extremely small bathroom

The overall presentation of the hotel lobby was very nice. The room was good but the bathroom was extremely small. I am only 5'6 with 130 pounds (normal weight) and there was no way I could towel off in the bathroom because it was so small. Great hotel, great location, but no pop

The pop machine on my floor was unplugged and obviously not working. The closest machine yo me would not accept our new plastic $5 bill, so to buy a bottle of water, I had yo head to reception twice. Other than GST small thing, the hotel is renovated and beautiful.

Visit to Ottawa

The hotel was in a good location. Byward Market was within walking distance. Room was very clean. Staff did direct us to the wrong location when looking to go to Gatineau. A bit frustrating to say the least. However, the stay was pleasant. We would likely return.

Nice Hotel!

This hotel was located nicely downtown withing walking distance to everything it seemed. The lobby was pleasant and room met our expectations. The room seemed recently renovated; which was nice. The staff was superb. They even delivered some champagne and chocolates, free of charge, after we told the front desk it was our anniversary. What a nice touch.

When I couldn't find my way back to the parking garage a hotel staff member brought us right there. My only complaint was that the bed sagged in the middle and made a creaking noise.

You have to be carefully when you drive a big vehicle. The most under ground parking lots in downtown Ottawa have a tolerance 6' height.

Great location and good service

The hotel is located just a block from Sparks pedestrian shopping and is within walking distances to many attractions. There is a Tim Horton in the same building as the hotel, very convenient for breakfast. Parking is under the building, and one needs to transfer elevators at the main levels to get to the room levels. Room is in good and clean condition as expected.

Luxury for a great Value

Even though its not one of the chains that I would know for luxury etas, this is a 4 Star Hotel in a great location, easy walking distance to the Historic Parliament Buildings.

Very nice experience

Actually we stayed on FEBRUARY 2013 and we stayed for only one night but the accommodation was really great. The room had great view and the breakfast was very good. Even it was freezing outside (-18 C) we enjoyed it !!

Came for the skating loved the hotel

Came to Ottawa with the family to skate on the canal and stayed at the Delta. Very nice modern hotel. Rooms are clean and well laid out. Only complaint the kids had was that the pool is very cold and it felt cold just sitting on the side. Having Tims in the same building is a big plus

One of the nicer hotels in Ottawa

Delta has made great leaps and bounds in updating the lobby area and the outside entrance of the hotel. Now it has a much more modern look and feel, as well as being more inviting.
The rooms are above average, cleanly kept and the beds are very comfortable. It's one of the better hotels to stay at in Ottawa.

I stayed here twice, first on my way to Orillia, then on my way back to Nova Scotia. Both times were Excellent. I can't think of anything bad to say about my stay, Service was excellent, food was excellent, location was fantastic (beautiful view of the city from my room)

A bit nervous after seeing some of the negative reviews. Just arrived and there must have been a lot of recent changes. Check in was fast and friendly. Room is updated and modern. Very nice place to stay in Ottawa.

Great location, small rooms

This hotel has a lot going for it, but the size of the rooms keeps it from being a 5.
The location is a short walk to anything you could want to do in downtown Ottawa. The hotel is very modern and well maintained. Overall it is very pleasant.

Great place to stay

Great location! Room was a little small but well packed with everything you need and very we'll kept. Huge tv and big windows with great views. Parts of the hotel show there age, but overall they have done a great job updating the place. Would stay again!

Good location and well furnished rooms

The hotel, whilst looking dated outside, appears to have been fully refurbished recently. Conveniently positioned close to the centre with direct access to an underground car park but far enough out that you could avoid the traffic leaving the centre.

One problem: our stay was too short

We loved our room, the staff and the location! We stayed on the 23rd floor, enjoyed the view, the shower and the bed. The club floors get you breakfast and lattes on the 25th floor. It is worth the splurge. Loved the modern aesthetic too! Great stay.

Wonderful night away

We were lucky enough to sneak away for a night away, and the Delta Ottawa City Centre delivered top notch service and hospitality! Beautiful room, super clean, excellent service from everyone we dealt with in the hotel--from the time we checked in to the time we checked out! We had a lovely dinner at Lift--delicious and also great service!

Decent Stay

Great Hotel, Great Staff

My boyfriend and I had spent two nights at the Delta and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive (especially Freddy who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay).

Nice room, Maintenance Questionable

My room was a good. Size and was recently updated. Nice solid surface and fixtures in the bathroom. Quality linens on the bed. Throughout the hotel everything looked clean and fresh.

Superb personalized service! In the process of reservation, we mentioned that our purpose of stay was to celebrate our child birthday. They had gifts and a cake ready for the birthday boy.

This hotel was recently renovated and it's a pleasure to stay in. We swam in the hotel pool and it was very clean and towels were in abundance.

We like the Delta Ottawa city centre hotel

friendly staff, good location.

The worst part of my stay was the elevators- extremely slow and when there are a lot of guests impossible to get up down in less than 20 minutes.Otherwise nice clean room with the usual amenities.

Expensive for what they offer

There was no refrigerator in the room, and the glasses were unwashed and dirty. the room was OK. But for the money we paid, we expected much more.

The Ottawa Delta City Center is a very nice hotel.

Noisy but conveniently located

I got a room facing Lyon St and it was very noisy with all the buses going by - very poor isolated windows.

It is an old hotel that is not properly maintained and that is becoming old and c@!%!y

Very happy with the quality of room furniture fixtures and decorative art. As I've seen in other posts about this Delta, the bathroom could be a bit bigger but it is well laid out.

My experience at this hotel was less than poor I must say. The front desk staff were not very helpful and were just plain rude at times. We were treated to exceptional service at this business hotel; the front desk staff, and the lobby service staff were both friendly and professional. We were withing walking distance to the atttractions, and we we wre ppleasantly impressed by our room.
