Right in the heart of the city, this hotel is within the Brunswick Square complex of shops and services and linked to other shopping and entertainment venues by an indoor walkway, making it perfect for a winter visit. Along with the efficient service one would expect from a venerable chain, it has large, modern, comfortable rooms with refrigerators and microwaves; a few have a view of the... more
We stopped on the way to PEI in St John, not anticipating anything special, and it ended up to be a highlight of our trip! Comfy beds, clean, and generally good location but man oh man, when all you want to do is go back to your room after a long day of work and watch TV, this is NOT the place to stay. Takes a good 5 seconds to turn the TV on, there's about a 10 second delay between changing channels (if you... more
Was there for one night and the room was good but it sounded like there was birds fighting outside the window all night long... we did not get a good night sleep.
one positive, the staff was great, access to the hotel was easy.
We enjoyed our visit to Saint John at the Delta Brunswick. The Hotel is located steps away from the harbour. Lots to see and do in the area. The hotel is located above a shopping mall so there is shopping and restaurants located just below the hotel. Sundays the mall is closed.
The rooms could use a little upgrade as...

On July 8th, we decided to book a hotel room in our own hometown because our power had been out for several days due to a tropical storm. We had planned to take a mini-vacation over the summer and thought staying uptown would be an awesome adventure! We chose the Delta for its excellent reputation and location. I called the... more
We walked in off the street to request two rooms. We got two lovely rooms with water views - clean well appointed and good price. Each room was only $109.00. The hotel is the perfect location for a tourist on foot and parking proved to be free on the 2 week-end nights we were there. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Great hotel right in uptown Saint John. The room had a good size, we stayed there after a wedding and the place was perfect for a good rest. It's clean, and modern. The wifi worked perfectly and the vending machine in each floor is awesome for a good snack.
This hotel has comfy rooms, fast wifi, a nice pool and gym, and parking, right in the middle of downtown. Sure, it's a bit dated, but it's been kept in good condition... and comfort never goes out of style. For the price, it's hard to beat!
I'm not one to complain, but Delta Brunswick ruined my overall relationship with delta. I have stayed at previous deltas and left satisfied and confident that I got what I paid for. This location made me feel as though I was staying in a dungeon. Our room was dingy, dark and dusty in spots. Mold in the bathroom grout and... more
Stayed one night on an organized tour. A typical, undistinguished Delta hotel, which is not a bad thing. Back in March of this year, there was a huge snow storm in Saint John, it was so bad that I couldn't get home. Even though they were filling up fast, I still managed to book a room. The service was amazing, I knew they were super busy, especially for a weekday.

Average property in the heart of Saint John. The lobby could use some renos. The hallways and room were older but clean. The room was great in size and had comfortable beds. To be honest, I usually enjoy staying at any Delta. Some Delta staff are certainly better than others, much for giving and friendlier. My stay at the Delta for two nights was exceptional. I enjoyed my stay immensely. The staff was welcoming and very attentive to our needs. Our suite faced away from the street and there was no noise whatsoever. This was a Signature Club room and it was exceptional. WiFi was fast and free. Would recommend.
Stayed here 15th May on overnight stop while touring. City centre location so convenient for shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Fittings need updating (not as modern as Fredricton) but good value for money. Free wifi. Parking on 6th floor of multi storey but access to hotel from that floor.
Ate out at Thandi's restaurant, 5 mins. walk - excellent.
Stayed at the Delta on the 28th of April. After staying at Comfort Inns, Best Western's, etc this was heaven. Had a super room with all the bells and whistles. The price matched the lower grade motels/hotels. Great bang for the buck. Will certainly use it again. Also, the staff were great and helpful.
I was @ the Delta Brunswick for business on April 3rd, 2014 for a night. Upon check-in I was surprised by an upgrade to a suite. The room was large w/a separate room with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. I spent 10 nights at the Delta Brunswick in March. The Delta Brunswick was dingy. The rooms, the hallways, the lobby, the common areas,... It would have been moderately classy and fairly nice in the early eighties. It's no longer the early eighties. I was disappointed by this hotel. I always thought this hotel had a high-end reputation, but that is certainly no longer the case. The room was very dated and had a bad smell. I recently had a function in Saint John and decided to stay overnight, along with my wife. It was okay. Staff were considerate, room was clean. View was of the Harbour. Not outstanding. No free breakfast. Close to the ferry dock. We felt it was highly priced for what we experienced. I've stayed at both the Delta and this Hilton several times for business, and frankly they're both pretty similar. Both are recently renovated and have a view of the harbour and downtown.
