We reserved 2 rooms with 2 double beds. On arrival discovered we had one queen per room. Front desk manager was rude, sarcastic and unhelpful. Requested a cot as people in room were not a couple, Advised no cots were available! Nice hotel, great location

This hotel was perfect for what we needed, we stayed at it one night for a concert. It was within walking distance to the concert theatre and bars. The room was very clean and hotel staff were friendly.

Noise

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, but the walls were paper thin. You can hear every conversation, tv program or other activity coming from all rooms around you as well as out in the hall.

Needs updating BADLY! Room was clean. Asked for a king bed only got a queen but doesn't really matter, same price. In a convenient downtown location not far from Tim Hortons Field but a very sketchy neighbourhood. Kind of scary at night. Price ok.

It is a bit of a seedy area. It is a good choice is you need to go to St Joe's hospital. It is a short drive to the hospital or a 8-9 dollar cab ride. Staff are awesome!

came to Hamilton for a wedding so did not spend much time at the hotel. Does not seem like a great area but again did not get much time to explore. The breakfast in the morning had all of the basics and the room was comfortable.

Its downtown but...

Only around 15 parking spaces (had to park in the overflow lot down the street and walk in the dark back to the hotel). My room didn't have a window, the walls were thin, and the room was small. Also, there was hair from previous guests in the bed (obviously the linens weren't changed). The staff was cold. I will stay elsewhere next time I'm here on business.

I have never stayed at a hotel with such small rooms. It looks like the sheets hadn't been changed. They charged us a 100$ deposit per room to prevent smoking, and said it was since we had booked online. I was very disappointed.

Perfect location downtown

Quiet room, no problem parking for us. The hotel is located across the street from my favorite international foods market, Denninger's, and few blocks walk to Jackson Square Mall. The room was fine, but the carpet could use a cleaning and there was a cracked tile on the bathroom floor.

Not worth the money.

Even though this was cheapest hotel, it was not worth the money. It smelt horriable, the room was a sauna, and our fridge didn't work. To top it all off the front desk clerk yelled at us when we let him know the $100 deposit was charged twice. He later apologized but we didn't get our money back and now have to contact corporate office. DO NOT STAY HERE

We found the room, on the 1st floor was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good. We enjoyed walking to the International shopping district a block away. As there is no elevator, if stairs are a problem, ask for a room on the 1st floor. We will stay there again in the future.

Great value hotel. Central location with free parking. The wifi is fast and reliable. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. A hotel of last resort

Not sufficient parking spaces, leaving me to drive around looking for a place to park. The front desk staff could use more diplomacy. There was one window but when I looked, I was looking at a muddy view of houses backyards about 30 ft. away. The hallways and the room was clean.

I've stayed in this hotel a couple times and I must say it was a lovely hotel for a quick nights rest. However, I just dealt with the service people recently, and I am very disappointed. Insufficient parking. Duvet most uncomfortable.Way too heavy at this time of the year. No healthy food for breakfast. No elevator.

Room very clean breakfast good staff so and so the only negative thing is the hotel is not quite you can hear people talking walking even they are not loud.over all it is nice stay.

I appreciated the warmth of the staff. My daughter was just released from the hospital after having surgery. The staff showed concern for her comfort. I found the area to be safe with choices of restaurants on the other main street..King Street. Highly recommend this hotel.

Things aren't always what they seem

Booked in advance. Told we couldn't have room that was booked. $100 charge was added in case something happened to room. I really liked the central location of the hotel and the fact that I could just walk to city-centre.

There are many good places near that make your life easier: Tim Hortons,
Denninger's, 5 car rentals, gas station... There is a parking lot for
the clients. There are good restaurants and fast foods not so far away
on King St. E. And at a 10-min. Walk you can get to downtown. The room
itself was big, comfy bed, good wifi and cable.

My room had NO WINDOW. The staff forgot to give the Air Conditioner remote - and didn't have one to give me to change a room that was very warm. And the room provided no barrier from the noise in the hall. It was the most expensive closet I ever paid for.

We booked this hotel in June based solely on the reviews we read, and we agree that this is a great value for the money. The rooms were clean, the decor is nice and updated, and the staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a bonus for our family of four.
