The room was quite adequate. The hallways were in need of a vacuuming, but otherwise everything was clean and tidy.
- ok morgenmad (ost ville have været fint)
Quiet, clean and nice place, had a good sleep. Plenty of free parking places and restaurant plus shops next door. No elevator, so you have to be fit to get your bags upstairs. Tasty, fresh waffles for breakfast!
The hotel is very nice. The room was clean and neat, and everything in it was working, without any minor glitches. If you plan to stay in this hotel, you should be aware of the following minor deficiencies. () While the hotel provides free breakfast, it is very basic, specifically, it includes cereal and toasts. The breakfast does not include eggs or any meat. () While the hotel indicates that... more
This was one of the worst experiences we have had yet. The room we first got was freezing cold. We waiting I our coats for half an hour for the room to heat up before calling the front desk. The heater was blowing cold air when we turned it in and as we waited. It took another ten minutes for them to check the chew in into this to tell us the whole wing was cold. We were finally given another... more
The staff are very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was adequate, just wish there was yogurt and dried fruit and nuts on the buffet. Too many carbs for me. I stayed for 12 days and found the hotel to be very quiet and soothing after a long day at work.
Not a bad place, worth the 90 bucks they charge. It's not five star luxury but it is clean and cozy.
Stayed just overnight prior to a conference. Good location. Room comfortable.
Late arrival but no issue at desk. -Early breakfast times to accommodate travelers
Nice hotel for the price. It is walking distance to lots of restaurants.
Went out and bought Lysol wipes and was lukcy enough to bring my own pillows!
The hotel was relatively small 2 storied building. the rooms were clean, large and comfortable. breakfast was included and was simple but delicious.
Everything as expected in room. Continental breakfast a nice plus. Some evil wizard set up the toaster coffee and pancake maker locations to ensure maximum congestion. Easily fixed with a small dose of layout re-thinking. Recommended place to stay in Guelph.
Stair Wells pretty smelly and the hallways look a bit overworn
Great location, clean and comfortable, excellent selection of a self serve breakfast included in the price. Friendly staff. I will be back as my son continues to study at the University.
Overall was fine, but we could not receive an invoice nor receipt nor a reminder of what we had paid via internet.
This was a great hotel to stay at for our one night in Guelph. We were disappointed with the continental breakfast but there was a full service restaurant across the street that served an excellent breakfast. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
I was there for one night after a concert in the area. Except for an underwhelming continental breakfast, everything was as expected.
The location, close to the U of G and not too far from downtown was perfect for me. The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds, and very quiet. I asked for a a room with a refrigerator and that was nice. The only thing I didn't like, and this seems to be more common in other hotels, is there was no microwave in the room. As someone with food allergies, it makes life a lot... more
Old and run down. The staff is apathetic to thier jobs. The entrance to hotel parking lot is badly marked.
Even though I had requested a 'fridge' in the room; they did not have any rooms still available with them. Because we were away from home for a few days, I had 'foodstuff' with us in a 'cooler bag' and when I expressed my concern about it; they allowed me to keep the bag in the fridge in the breakfast room.
Everything was great about the hotel. I wish we had a refrigerator in our room and the breakfast was ok, but it satisfied what we needed for the week at our conference
The room was basic clean and nice but the only problem was it had a really bad funky smell to it. The people were nice and the hotel is kept up nicely.
Birthday celebration used as a long awaited family get together. Super location, friendly and efficient staff. Room exceeded expectations.
Quick, but good stay. The overall feel is a bit dated, but comfortable.
TV remote did not work but other than that no complaints
I've stayed here 3 times now. It's nothing fancy but it's a decent room for the right price. The staff has always been friendly and the beds are very comfortable. I'd go back for sure!
Came to Guelph for Triathlon. Front Desk was very friendly & efficient. Our room was clean and bright. We did however have stairs IN our room. Not an issue but we did have a senior with us. She was concerned about getting up in the night as the bathroom was at the top of the stairs. Otherwise, our room was great, close to Univ.Guelph and Stone Mall. Lots of resturants close by. We will... more
Of all the hotels I booked, I can say with confidence that this is the worst hotel I stayed-in. We weren't able to sleep during the night due to smell, uncomfortable beds and tight rooms. I do not recommend this to anyone, pay a bit higher for a better service!
To start off wife and I are no strangers to hotels or even 1 star or no star hotels. We have spent hundreds of days in hotels over the years. I am tolerant of dust, bathroom mold and grungy windows. Here is what we found. There was a single step (6 inches) up from the main bed / living area to the bathroom. If you like an obstacle course in your room you will love this room. We put a chair by... more
I have visited my daughter in school and have enjoyed staying at Days Inn for its location, cleanliness and cheerful staff.
We loved that the room was so large. We had 2 more adults and 3 children visit us in our room. We also ordered take out and all ate in the room. It was not crowded at all even with 2 queen size beds. Also thought the price was great for what we got. We would definitely stay here again. Also lots of food options close at hand.
Quiet, lots of parking. Suitable for a one night stay, bed was comfortable.
I don't mean the title as a slam. It's a Days Inn, so it is what it is. If you want a clean, safe (and quiet, too, I guess - - there weren't a whole whack of other cars in the parking lot the Friday night I stayed there) place to stay in NE Guelph near the campus and/or the government complex, this is a good choice. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, the parking was free, etc.I... more
Very good. The only issue was a nasty carpet stain by the bed.
Nice hotel. we only stayed one night but it was a comfortable stay, and the continental breakfast was a perfect start for the morning. Hot waffles, toast, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, and coffee/tea/juice. Staff was friendly, and helpful.
Everything was great; even the pillows...but my back did NOT like that hard mattress.
Great location,Very clean ...breakfast very limited .
Good location, good value. Breakfast is free, but selection is weak and quality poor, room to improve
The hotel is just what you would expect for a "Day's Inn". Very simple, but clean and safe.
Very good location, close to the University (walking distance) and downtown (3 min by car).
Continental breakfast is poor but it's ok just if you don't eat very much.
We tried this motel for the first time, and what a mistake that was. Everything from the room, front desk, and breakfast was awfully. The room was musty, front desk was rude, and breakfast was stale, and a very small continental choice. There are a lot of other choices in Guelph but stay way from this one.
We have stayed at this hotel two years in a row while attending the Scottish Festival in Fergus. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room we had was quite large and very clean and comfortable. Will be returning again this year.
This hotel represented reasonable value. The room was clean and everything worked . Up to expectations in this price range.
We have stayed here before and find the rooms very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is a cut above average with fresh, fruit and fruit cocktail, plus the usual toast and muffins etc. What I really enjoyed was the yogurt in small containers. Very nice start to the day.
We've stayed at this particular hotel several times and have noted the gradual decline. We booked two rooms for this trip. The rooms were very basic and located on the ground floor in the no smoking section. The entire wing stank of smoke when we arrived. When we got back after an evening out the wing still stank of smoke... more
We were transferred from best western across the street as they were full of noisey university sports teams. The first room 235 smelled of smoke! We asked to be moved and the front desk clerk was aware of the problem. This makes me wonder why she put us in the room. The second room 216 in the wing labelled "non... more
location was good for the access to shopping, pubs, and groceries., clean and well maintained, breakfast for what it's worth was miniscule.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and supportive and I had a great sleep. The building feels new, and my room was clean and comfortable. I liked the spartan style.
They had very accessible vending machines and a free breakfast selection. The toiletries are limited, but the towels were of very good quality. My room, 147, was quiet and had easy...

I stayed a night with friends and the place is easy to find, staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and spacious. Good rates and they were nice about late checkouts. It was nice and close to campus and some restaurants.
Nice place overall but the beds are very uncomfortable. Had a poor nights sleep. If they fixed this problem I would stay again.
The hotel is nice. Large room. People in the front desk is very nice. With walking distance to the University of Guelph. There is also a few shopping stores/restaurants nearby (such as popeyes, Chinese restaurant, and nofrill supermarket).
found front desk staff not very motivated. Asked abut places to eat and he was non commital and when we suggested types of food- choose not to respond
placed in room that was found open adnlater we were informed that the room had been sprayed for bugs
room I was in appeared very plain. No was pitures, room had step...

Nice clean place, close to everything, nice sized rooms, everything you need including a fridge, which I love!!! Front desk was friendly and helpful!!! Breckfast was basic toast, muffins, waffles, cereal, enough to get you going in the am.....beds very firm, my back was happy in the morning!!!
Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. The beds were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. We were away from the room for the day but the room was not made up although when I checked at the front desk it was marked as cleaned.
It is the first time I have stayed at the Days Inn and was very pleased with the hotel and accommodations. Cleaning staff checked on us to see if there was... more
I chose to stay at this hotel for a recent stay to the OVC, as it allows dogs.
The exterior is quite nice and belies the room appearances, unfortunately. The rooms are tired and outdated and very very sparse. The beds are very low, and not particularly comfortable. AC units are very loud. I tried 2 different rooms during my...

Called to ensure the 'accessible' room had a tub chair - at arrival it was missing - needs replacing!
It is reasonably priced and I had everything that I needed with the exception of the access to a room with a computer. Staff was friendly and a small breakfast was included.
Was in Guelph for a week, stayed here since I really only needed a place to sleep and shower. My expectations for this inn were not high but after two nights I really wish I had spent a little more money on a better hotel.
Firstly, the front desk staff have been very rude; whenever I come in or leave...

Stayed here for one night on June 04th with a $82.00 CAA rate. From the outside I was impressed with the stone, big parking lot and proximity to mall and English pub across street. I had clean sheets. Small things like no cup replacement, not my hair in my towels. Bathroom floor not washed.
The hotel is located close to a mall & restaurants....room is clean...
I would just prefer more choices for breakfast such as fat free or sugar free items for those of us who are health concerned...
The staff are very friendly & helpful....

Friendly staff, very clean, comfy bed, convenient distance from points of interest. Highly recommended.
Everything was good. In particular we appreciated having a real coffee maker in the room. The continental breakfast was also well done.
One thing I found interesting was that when the room was cleaned they did not empty the garbage cans, or remove any empty pop, or beer cans from the bathroom counter. Overall, the inn was very clean and staff was very polite.
I visit my daughter at the university of Guelph. This is a great location and value for money. Just north of the 401 and seconds from the university.
Stayed at the Days Inn as the hotel my conference was at was overbooked. Room was very sparsely furnished (no desk), and overall looked quite "dated". The room was clean, and the bed, although it didn't look like it would be (basic, low bed - not the higher, pillow-top mattress often seen in hotels now), turned out to be very... more
This hotel was everything I expected. Very clean and quiet, very friendly staff. While breakfast was a bit basic (no eggs), the waffle maker made up for this as I haven't been to many hotels that had one.
We have been regular customers at this location as our dogs are treated at the OVC. They never fail to greet us and our dogs. The rooms are clean, facilities perfect. I have absolutely no qualms about recommending this Motel. It is one of my favourites.
We were satisfied with our stay at the Days Inn Guelph. Like others have said, the exterior of the building is charming while the interior doesn't quite live up to the promise. Having said that, with rack rates around the $90 mark, it certainly fits the bill. My wife and I made a day trip to Guelph for a look... more
Building looks good from the outside, but a little tired in the rooms.

Stayed here for a few days while visiting our son in Guelph. Not a nice place. Room was in bad condition. No facilities (laundry, fitness center, pool); continental breakfast was pretty sad. Air conditioner didn't work very well. Not even an elevator! Free wifi worked well, simple breakfast, quiet, close to university
The employees are very nice. rooms are clean. Our stay was pleasing. Close to shopping and dining.Good value for the price.
The TV, bed and everything else in this hotel is out of date. The room was basic and clean but was so worn that I imagine no ammount of cleaning would make you feel comfortable there. The front desk staff was friendly.
