"Everything but the price is fabulous" at this footwear institution where the shoe and accessory styles range from eveningwear to casual and service is "attentive and professional"; a few recommend "waiting for the sales", which are "usually very good."
The man was friendly take care of my little foots. He tried to find out over and over all the smallest shoes for me , once let me try and try agin. Finally I found my shoes , not very high heel , brand is much better than Prada, that I couldn't wait to order from Vancouver in HR.
Jen is so helpful. She's beautiful too. They have an amazing selection of men's and women's high end shoes. And Beautiful bags. Louboutin, choo, Valentino, Chloe, manolo, Ferragamo and more! This store has it all. Evening to everyday wear. They have sneaks boots heels and flats. It's a great store right in the heart of yorkville!
Jen went out of her way for my mom and I. And we both love our...

Well overpriced for mediocre quality men's shoes, mostly low end lines of high end brands star USA, Ferragamo Studio, etc.
Sold me a belt where the buckle broke and the leather split and was told to take it elsewhere. Poor customer service and told me I didn't pay for quality, just brand name.
Avoid.
I went in 5 minutes before closing unknowingly. Customer service was great. Lawrence, a really sweet gentleman, was very attentive, informative about fit, and made me feel welcome. He was not only pleasant but kind. I spotted a pair of military boots in the style I've wanted, on clearance, but the only available pair were a half size up. He offered them with insoles (as a gift). This actually... more
Very disorganized when I came in for the men's stuff. Shoes were all over the place on the second floor. There was a lack of service, albeit I didn't get the holier-than-thou vibe from the gentleman that was helping me. Perhaps it was because we started talking about shoes a little more in depth. Anyway, this is a great store for shoes by Church's, especially if you can find them on sale -... more
I knew David when.... I remember the opening of this store very well and it certainly has come a long way but I'm not sure who would shop here. The place is stunning and very open but you can cut the attitude with a knife. Not something I like to tolerate from a shoe salesman, I can only assume it works for them. I do have a healthy collection of shoes of which none I have bought here, not... more
So I was hunting for a pair of Manolo Flats - satin with a nice shiny buckle in the front. I initially went to the David's location at Bayview Village and bought the blue pair, but they did not have a size 6 in the pink pair...which I also desperately wanted.
So I asked the store to hold an order with their downtown location, one that I have not been in many years. But, it is nice. The...

EXXXXPENSIVE. But this is where I come to look for designer shoes. Mostly to drool but to touch too.
They're super expensive, but Manolo Blahniks are worth it (mine are consignment finds), and they are just gorgeous to feel and look at.
Who is David, and why is he so greedy?
The most valuable thing in the world is knowledge, but the shoes at Davids Footwear ain't that far behind in pricing. Can the Louboutins at his store lead us to the Holy Grail? Will the Jimmy Choos his selling suddenly give us magical Kung Fu powers like Jacky Chan's tuxedo?
Yes, the glorious high heel, it make fools out of the most discerning Men, but...

Shoes...glorious shoes...aaaaah
Came here with my best shopping buddy Sarah H.(not a Yelper yet, but I'm workin on her) to drool at the shoe candy and bags that teasingly line the glass facaded storefront on the perfectly iconic corner of Bay and Bloor. Shoes and bags from the likes of all the heavy hitters like Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo and Sergio Rossi and the much...

I love shoes probably almost to a disgustingly excessive degree, and I love all the shoes Davids has: red louboutins and gold jimmy choos and pink marc jacobs--everything.
I walked in fully intending to buy a pair of shoes and I walked out empty handed. I was pretty much the easiest sale ever and yet it still didn't happen because the guy who tried to help me was so overly pushy.
From the...

The service here matches the ambiance. If your going to spend big dough on a pair of shoes, it's nice to feel pampered. Elegant men bring you fabulous shoes to try on while you watch the world float down Bloor Street. Christian Louboutin shoes and boots are my true love, along with Salvatore Ferragamo and EMILIO PUCCI. Fear not, walking around in this beautiful store and getting a contact high... more
I used to think that it was only Holt Renfrew that could make my heart ache... that is, until I came across Davids.
Valentino, Sonia Rykiel, Chloe, Marc Jacobs... they all flirt at passersby, winking at them seductively, challenging them to walk another day in their horribly unstylish and tired shoes.
Pink Louboutins gleams from their protective glass casing, Paul Smith dances on the coffee...

This store really knows how to torture a girl.
Shoes lined up against the window over-looking Bay Street and Bloor.
I see at least ten pairs that I love and I know they can never be mine, unless a rich friend gives me her hand me downs.
But there is a great variety of shoes and bags that is a load of fun to look at.
