Wow. The food here is amazing. I found out it's all freshly made with local produce. Relaxing atmosphere though the place is full of wood and the Jazz can get a bit loud. The restaurant is not too big, not too small. This is a family owned business. I met the husband, wife and daughter who were busy making everyone feel at home. Hard to describe. Recommended. Save room for the homemade desert.
They had me at hello but every thing after that was a disappointment. The food was all very bland. No Italian pizazz at all, expect for the free bread and dip at the start. If you're a small family restaurant, use fresh ingredients!! Coming out the movie Crazy Heart and music must have been on our mind. We spotted a new sign saying, "Jazz" across from the Subway in the Whitby Entertainment Coliseum. Jazz in Whitby? Yup!
