Come with no expectations

The court yard is green and pretty. In the summer, I assume the pool area is inviting.
The rooms are aged, in all aspects. Do not come with expectations. Key entry, my room did not have a window that was able to open (except the sliding door with no screen). Marks over walls, broken main lamp and cracked tile throughout... more

A blast from the past

Voila! A 1963 motel, built and furnished with a Polynesian theme, and unrenovated for 50 years. Tiki statue lamps, avocado green and harvest gold paint scheme, bamboo wicker furnishings, etc. Greeted by an orange tabby cat, pleasant & efficient human receptionist. Really cool place. Really nice garden in the back along with a pool, hot tub and sushi restaurant!

Room isn't the most up to date in the world, but we slept fantastic in it.

Customer service was satisfactory to amazing!

Great place to stay

I've stayed at the Tiki for a soccer tourney for the past 5 years, it is a great place, with a fantastic backyard, pool and bbq. If you have lil ones, there is also a playground. A Good Choice with a lovely Cat

We stayed for one night at the Tiki Village Motor in, and found it to be clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Plus, there was a lovely, friendly, long-haired orange cat patrolling the parking lot and lobby area. I'd stay here again on my way through town.

Authentic place, good room, nice garden

We stayed here for one night. When you love authentic eerie highway architecture, this is quite a place! Polinesian style in Vernon BC :-) The room was clean, spacious and had a lovely balcony with evening sun facing the garden and pool. The staff was friendly. The place is better located near downtown than the chain motels. Loved it!

Good hotel, reasonable rates

It seems like people love to complain and trash others to make themselves feel better. I have stayed here many times and never had any problems. Quiet, comfortable, good service. The review about bullet holes is absolutely ridiculous. I think if there was a shooting at the Tiki, it would have made the paper!

definitely one of the worst places i've stayed.... ever.
Had several room here and was booked for two days. We all had to pack up and leave after the first night because all the rooms were so bad.
had to sleep with all clothes on including hoody...

A big improvement since last visit

I stayed at this hotel when I was a kid and have many happy memories of the place. Over the years it has changed hands and the place went a bit downhill. I am happy to say that it has improved a great deal with the new owners. The rooms have all been redone, new paint, flooring, beds, ect. Everything... more

Tiki Village was good value for the price! It wasn't perfect, but the customer service was beyond exceptional

Pass on this "Paradise

This is an older hotel and not the cleanest or freshest smelling. The air conditioner vent had about a years worth of dust/grime in it.
