The hotel is located only 2 minutes from West Edmonton Mall, 15 minutes from downtown Edmonton and 35 minutes from the airport. It is also in close proximity to both Anthony Henday and Whitemud High
I arrived at the hotel to find my friend who had arrived beforehand distraught and visibly upset after being verbally assaulted by the general manager. We were looking forward to a girls weekend away and we chose this location because of convenience and price. Needless to say ,y stay started out stressful :( Keep in mind there is no socializing... more
Stayed at this hotel a couple times in the past year, and have never been disappointed. The rooms are impressively clean, the staff is very helpful and the property itself is clean.
The pool is nice as well as the hot tub. The parking is a little iffy, as the majority of it is in the back and the side...

Armed with great reviews of Courtyard West, we landed and lost. The first room (yes, we tried 2) featured black electrical tape several cm. long at the top of the shower's glass surround: Wrinkly, shiny black tape. We called and when we returned after supper, the desk claimed all was well. Well? They had removed the tape, revealing shiny fairly... more
We walked into this hotel after having to unexpectedly stay in Edmonton. They gave us a good deal on the room, which was clean but standard for most hotels with 2 queen beds. The pool was nice, clean and warm, the kids really enjoyed it. We were disappointed there was no breakfast and with a large conference going on in... more
Stayed here to visit my wife, who travels there regularly for work. The staff are very friendly, room was clean and the food was also quite nice (if a bit overpriced).
The staff know my wife pretty well, so when I picked up something from the market to charge to the room they were reluctant as they didn't recognize me...

This hotel exceeded my expectations! From the lobby and cafe to the pool and fitness facility, it has the feel of a premium hotel. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was sharp and friendly. Very reasonably priced. Well run. Well done.
This place claims to be friendly and accommodating but they are EVERYTHING from that. Upon check in the manager Renee was extremely unfriendly and snobish acted like she had better things to do than give proper customer service. Arriving to our room it was smelly and definitely wasn't the standards of the pictures they post. You get a view of... more
This was the third time I've booked a room here. Previous times was to visit my ailing mother. This time was for her passing and internment. Stayed from May 1 to 6th leaving in the morning. I could not get a single king size bed so I was left with the two Queen size beds. Total price roughly $999.00. This... more
Came to Edmonton for a soccer tournament and our team (girls ages 14-17) and their families stayed here. On check in we were given a personalized pamphlet welcoming the team which included information about the hotel and was personally signed with messages of good luck from all the staff members. A wonderful welcoming personal touch! The staff here are amazing... more
Came for a Mother's Day weekend shopping trip! Exceptional service. Great food. Good clean rooms and even a good brunch. Coming back in August with the kids to do the mall. The location is amazing and accessible. Cab rides are cheap. Parking is easy. I highly recommend. There were many kids enjoying the modern lobby and restaurant and I can't... more
A come to edmonton for work quite often and pretty much stay here every time. I could write a full review - but I'll keep it really short and simple
Great location
Good value for money
Clean, modern rooms
Nice little pool

What more can I say. If I had one complaint - please get some firmer pillows!
We had to switch hotels from Best Western Westwood Inn to the Courtyard over Easter weekend. The other hotel was not wheelchair user friendly. Thank goodness the Courtyard had vacancy for our second night. Bella from front desk was very friendly. She showed and explained where everything was when we checked in. The wheelchair accessible room was on the main... more
We picked this hotel based on its reviews and it turned out to be even better than we though. We stayed here for three nights, it was a fair price, very comfortable, clean and the blackout blinds are great for sleeping in.
Stayed with hockey team. Clean, upscale - geared more towards business people but was fine for us. Tiny pool so not practical for a hockey team. Nice fitness room. Huge loungey area in lobby but cannot have your own beverages, must buy from bar which gets expensive. Lots of sofas & chairs.
Staff super friendly and seem to love their...

The staff at this hotel look and act like they love working here. They are faced with all kinds of challenging situations and people, and I saw nothing but professional behaviour at all times. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! Go for the Butter Chicken! The room was very clean, quiet and well-appointed. I loved the little chocolate in my... more
This is a very nice hotel. The staff, especially the housekeeping staff, are very accommodating and professional. The room was quiet, comfortable and well appointed. There was a wine and beer tasting one afternoon hosted by the manager which was a very nice touch. The hotel is a little out of the way, but is in a developing are of... more
We have stayed in this hotel many times and had great experiences. However for the last few visits the hotel was full of kids attending team events - which is not a problem if well behaved. However kids are running up & down hallways, knocking on doors after 11pm and running away - where are the parents? When brought to... more
I lived in Edmonton for many years, and recently travelled back for business for a few days, so I got to check out this new hotel: Excellent rooms, new and sparkling clean, but also so comfortable: beds, nice little lounge/restaurant, and gym. Also just 5 minutes from the Anthony Henday which can take you anywhere else in this big city... more
We were here to attend the Alberta Cheer Championship at West Edmonton. When looking for a hotel, this had good reviews on TripAdvisor. It didn't disappoint. It was very clean. Staff were friendly. We had a late supper in their restaurant on Saturday, March 8. The restaurant was busy so we sat in the "social area". Our waitress was fabulous... more
The Courtyard Marriott West is a beautiful hotel inside!! (parking lot is not very big, for a hotel of this size though...Front desk staff were so helpful, friendly and fast. I have stayed here in the past and this property still delivers. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and there is just something special about this place. It just has a great feel and is very comfortable.
The food is really good and reasonably priced. Breakfast Eggs Benedict was $12.
I will definitely be back!
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It is very modern, clean and comfortable. I was very impressed by the service, especially by the staff at Aqua restaurant downstairs. I will definitely visit again!
Only stayed one night and would come again in future for longer trips.
Hotel is only 3 years old and in great condition with nice decor. Rooms are stylish & spacious, beds firm yet comfortable, clean and sunny with large room windows. WiFi in rooms, LCD TV, iPod dock on radio. Very quiet, too. Pool is small and shallow (4')...

The staff were polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We took our three children and their family for a week end get away and stayed at this hotel. Everyone enjoyed it and we would definitely stay here again. We were two seniors and they allowed us the senior rate for all four rooms.
We stayed one night at the Courtyard this past weekend while visiting my mother in law. The hotel was easy to locate off the Anthony Henday Drive. This is a fairly new hotel so the beds and numerous pillows were quite comfortable. The room felt chilly however and no extra blanket was available , just a thin down comforter and... more
I have reviewed this hotel before (positively) so I will keep this short. I was in Edmonton for an urgent and unexpected family issue over the holidays. The hotel performed flawlessly and just how I had experienced it months earlier.

I have stayed here a few times in the last couple months and I hesitate sharing how amazing this place is, in fear that it will have a negative effect, i.e. More bookings - less supply of rooms - higher prices - me moving on. I stayed here for five nights. In the last night of my stay, I had a flat tire. It's the first time that I had a flat tire and I literally didn't know how to change the tire. I was asking the front desk to help me find someone from the local auto shop to change the tire for me.... more
A wonderful stay at this new hotel on the west end of Edmonton. Close to the Anthony Hendy bypass and West Edmonton Mall. Downtown a 20 minute drive from hotel. Wonderful, friendly staff. This hotel exceeded my expectations on all levels and took me by surprise. The front desk service was probably one of the best, if not the best I have received in any hotel. This is a nice, stylish hotel. Our room was quite comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Close to a ton of restaurants and easily accessible to the Edmonton ring road. Breakfast buffet seemed a little pricey for what I got so I would try the menu next time. Would recommend otherwise.
It was my first time staying at a Courtyard hotel and I found it very good. Considering I stayed one night only, I can't give 5 stars as I didn't give them a lot of "chances for error" as well. When I arrived, the attendant at the front desk found my reservation very quickly and also provided me all the... more
Stayed at this property during my short business trip with a check-out on Saturday. Spent the weekend at the West Edmonton Courtyard. It had all the amenities that you would expect from a Courtyard Marriott. First of all. Our room was amazingly clean, I was so impressed. Beds were comfortable, the hotel felt very new, there was a great little gym with treadmills, ellipticals and free weights. The pool is small and the hot tub I found was a little too hot for my liking.

I was impressed. Spotlessly clean and really quiet. The hotel was packed - or seemed to be when we were trying to park. There is nothing wrong with the hotel, we had stayed several times before with our land rover and the valet had always parked it outside because of the height until our last visit where they thought it would fit in the parkade. Firstly, Amy at the front desk is fantastic. There were a few problems with rooms, they overbooked some rooms and swapped us over to a different one but fortunately Amy was well accommodating to our concerns and needs. Very modern looking hotel, the breakfast is pretty good but could use a little bit more than mango for their selection of fruit. Overall, a couple of quirks but I liked it.
Nice and clean, very pleasant personnel. Nice gym, pool very small.
Hotel modern, staff very friendly, rooms are beautiful, our only complaint was that the air was very very dry....upon check out we found out that the hotel offered humidifiers. So if you don't want to wake up with your nostrils on fire be sure to ask the front desk for a humidifier!
I often travel to Edmonton and i have stayed in all types of hotels, from best westerns to Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, and this hotel is by far the best.
