Avoid avoid avoid! This hotel is terrible! It costs over $200 plus $40 parking per night. There was hair all over the bed sheets. Everything is so basic here. This is more of a 2.5 star hotel.

Keep an eye on your credit card statements after your stay! they charged me for a room over a month after my stay, after calling several times had to go down in person to make sure they gave me my refund, only to have them charge me AGAIN!

This hotel, built as a condo building, has bargain finishes that are starting to show their lack of quality and durability-scuffed walls, scratched laminate flooring, etc. The restaurant wasn't open during the day and nothing seemed to quite "work". I wouldn't recommend this for a stay in Toronto.

I stayed here for business recently. The room was nice and spacious...that's about it. Walls were scuffed up, bathroom was a little grimey, and dirty dishes left in the kitchen cabinets.

The Cosmo is really nice for business travel. Full kitchen, washer dryer and work space made this an ideal spot to relax on the road and get work and laundry done. It was a memorable experience and the hospitality of the staff was tremendous...genuine.

Reserved hotel through Hotwire - we were truly unsatisfied with the room. It was small, and cramped, uncomfortable and we had to undo it and make it up again to get the bed cover and sheets tucked in. No chairs to sit and watch TV or socialize.

Better for business travelers

I chose this hotel due to the proximity to the Hockey Hall of Fame. The hotel is nice and the restaurant was phenomenal, but the room was more like a studio apartment than a hotel room for 2 - it felt cramped. It is also located in the financial district, so it felt a little too hustle and bustle for a weekend away.

Decent place with a decent location. Our room had a full kitchen, living room, double bed, and of course a bathroom. The place is a bunch of condos so there is little wiggle room when you tried to be sneaky and have 4 people stay.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are huge, clean and considering u r down town T.O, quiet. The staff was amazing. Super friendly, especially Natalie and Ryan. Location is fantastic. Staff was excellent. Our room was pretty narrow, not much counter space either. Walls need to be painted - lots of black scuff marks on them. Bedroom was not well lit. We went there for an overnight stay in Toronto. We were pleasantly surprised to walk in to this hotel room. It was a mini suite, small kitchen, with all the full size appliances, separate sitting area with a view of the city. There was a stackable washer & dryer, not that we needed one. Unfortunately there was a problem with our room at the Cosmopolitan and we were shuffled to the Pantages which I found to be a real dump compared to the Cosmopolitan.

Hotel room was a bit dirty with broken screens to the balcony. Restaurant and bar area decided to close early on a Friday stating it was not busy. We than went to order room service where we were informed kitchen closed early. After a long wait we were at least able to order a bottle of wine. It was nice to staycation with all the accoutrements of home. I knew it was a suite but I opened a closet to find a washer and dryer. They were never used but it was very nice to know that I had the option. Isn't that what luxury is all about? Having options. A full kitchen with a dishwasher. I booked this on my way to Toronto through the Hotel Tonight app. When I arrived the staff seemed unorganized and unapproachable. That was fine, however the room was filthy. I was there for a concert that night and left the next morning, disappointed and dirty because the shower wasn't even clean.

The Cosmopolitan Hotel is fantastic, it's the epitome of boutique hotels in a big city. It's super welcoming and comfortable, and you feel more like you're in your apartment than a hotel room.

My boyfriend booked this hotel after some recommendations from friends, and we're glad we did! We could have lived in our suite (Tranquility Suite, 24th floor), it was so large. The view was great - you could see the waterfront, the highway, and a lot of downtown.

A beautiful and reasonably-priced hotel in the heart of Toronto. Very clean and modern, and quiet (I could barely hear the people in the room above having shrieking sex at 3am). It is in a wonderful location, just a block from a subway stop (King) and near the corner of two main roads where you can catch streetcars running in every direction. On my last trip, i got a suite, which was a one bedroom apt, for a very competitive rate, costs about same as a regular room at one of the more well known places.

Like a condo in the middle of the city

I felt like living in a condo! The hotel rooms are perfectly designed, just like a mini-condo with a nice shower, and a total ZEN vibe and decoration. I slept really well there and was definitely not searching for bed bugs... You even have a washing machine and a drawer. enjoy!

I stayed at this hotel and it was nice, but overrated The location was great! It was rated by Conde Nast in the top 60 or so of the newest boutique hotels.
