Central Location in Invermere

Stayed one night on business. This is my second stay at this resort. The main reason I returned and am booking future stays here is the cost/value is excellent for this area and in the off-season months there is less to choose from. Recommended for individuals, couples or families considering a trip to the Columbia Valley in British Columbia.

Nice weekend retreat

Went on a Thursday and had the place to ourselves almost till Friday. Excellent restaurant on site , the food was great. Pool and hot tubs clean and though they only clean once every three days they will bring towels or take out trash which was sufficient.

Great stay.

This was our first stay at this resort, wasn't sure what to expect but we were very impressed with this place, especially for the rate we paid. Our 5th Anniversary Stay & Play

To celebrate our anniversary each year we look for a place out side of Calgary to get away and relax and have some fun. We are active and golfing is one activity we enjoy together. We booked our room through Expedia for two days. We had an unexpected delay happen where we were only going to be using the room for the second night. We called the hotel to amend the reservation. Booked room months in advance for radium car show!

Resort was packed with wedding and car show patrons! They gave us the very end of the hall room with neighbours who had a screaming baby! Kept us up the first night and yes the second night the baby was screaming again! Really nice resort not a good stay this time!

Great hotel and fantastic pools

Stayed on a super busy weekend and don,t think they had enough cleaning staff. Coffee cups were left dirty. No vacumning even in hallways. Just towels and bed made. Understood they can,t always have enough staff for such a busy time so don,t hold it against them. Pool and hottubs were fantastic.

Zeer goed bijbehorend restaurant.

Kamer was modern ingericht. Bed was erg comfortabel. Was wel apart dat er maar 1 nachtkastje naast het bed stond. Badkamer prima. Kamer had een balkon. Koelkast en koffieautomaat aanwezig. We hebben in het bijbehorende restaurant gegeten en dat was voortreffelijk eten, zowel het diner als ontbijt.

Nice Grounds, OK Surface but Cold Plastic Feeling

What's going on at the front desk??

I found on arriving back home over $400 in unauthorized credit charges on my account. I think I should not have accepted the assurances of the front desk staff about the purpose of the credit pre-authorization and for the signature required, as I was told, by Expedia on checking-out. Hopefully this will get sorted out and there is another explanation for the charges.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway from the city and found it in Invermere. We were fortunate enough to stay at CopperPoint and enjoyed all their facilities. Their pools and hot tubs were wonderful! The service at the front desk wasn't great but the restaurant staff and rooms were good value for our money.

Anniversary Getaway

We decided to stay here for our 10 year anniversary; we booked over a month in advance and requested a room with a view. We arrived to find our room overlooked the main entry and parking lot. Could be great but....

This hotel is in a beautiful location. It could be a first class resort however the filthy carpets in the hallways and the room leave a bad impression. Lovely Pet Friendly Resort.

Paid an extra $50 to upgrade to a King Suite. Essentially it was a 1 bedroom condo. Worth the price! Lots of room, however the cleanliness wasn't great. The floor didn't look like it was swept, or washed. I understand a slate floor is more tough to clean but there was visible dirt, and the used jello shot cup on the window ledge was lovely. We booked a one night stay at your resort based on the pictures and amenities on the web site while stopping at radium hot springs - not being familiar with the area we liked the idea that there was a restaurant and lounge that we could relax in and not have to go searching for a place to eat after visiting the pools. Excellent stay

Room was gorgeous, all the amenities you could want. Love the neighbourhood, nice and quiet after a long drive made for a good rest. Wish we could have stayed longer. One negative. the restaurant staff was not attentive, and service was slow.

Could be great

Not sure if it was due to off season but there was not enough staff on for the amount of guest especially in the Elements restaurant. Cleanliness was low, there was dust everywhere, the halway rugs looked like they were not vacuumed during my three day stay and even needed a cleaning.

Close to Radium Hot Springs

We had a Great time! The Hotel was Beautiful, the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant and relaxing in the pool! Highly recommended!!!

Nice hotel-great spot for small kids

Although we weren't able to check into our hotel until 6(the check in time was 4) our overall stay was good. Bouncy castle,indoor and outdoor pool was great for the kids. Would have been nicer if the outdoor pool was heated, it was a little chilly when we were there for the September long weekend. And you are about 5 minutes from the lake which was really nice.

City modern chic in the mountain wilderness

We had a one night stay at the Copper Point and loved everything except the cramped one queen room that we had received. Apparently we booked in high season and there were no rooms to spare for an upgrade. Beware, there is no room for a rollaway bed in a single bed room. The rooms are modern and clean but tiny with built in bar in the niche. Spacious golf course views only from certain rooms.... more

Nice new hotel not so great service

Because of staff shortage i had to go and get our room service from. the restaurant 2 times as did the couple we travelled with. Defeated the purpose of ROOM service

Very nice place

This was the 2nd time we stayed here and we enjoy it very much. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant/lounge is great. A couple of minor issues this time that were straightened out - the room was incredibly cold when we arrived and it took a while to figure out how to change it. Looked nice

The hotel itself looked really nice. Rooms were clean. Honestly, we enjoyed the stay, but there was something a little Twilight Zone-y about it. Hotel seemed under staffed though. Nice hotel but lacked sound proofing.

The hotel was new and looked nice! The rooms where done beautifully. The only complaint I have is the sound proofing, there isn't any. You could here people walking upstairs, you could here people talking next door and every time the toilet was flushed you could also hear that from the room around you. For the price of the room, I was disappointed.

A great place to break up a journey.

Room was perfect for a family of four, plenty of room, good kitchen facilities. Playground, pool and bouncy castle were great for the kids. Only downside was that the food in the restaurant was a bit hit and miss and the breakfast was dreadful... How can you have a breakfast buffet with no toast or bread!

Our room was very nice, roomy balcony with great view. Second room was very small, squeezed into a corner of the building. Food at restaurant was disappointing. Warm salad served wiyh my fish and chips. I would stay again as the amenities were well maintained.

Nice hotel, close to lots of golf.

The hotel people were very friendly and happy to help out. The lady at the front booked me a tee time and asked the next day how things turned out. The food at the grill could have been a little better.

Looks are deceiving.

Beautiful building, grounds, location BUT it's by far the noisiest hotel yet we have stayed in. Hallway & adjacent room noise is like it's inside your room at night, it's not the guests being noisy but the horrid design & poor quality of the doors.

Disappointed

Room assigned was a designated "pet room". Room was immediately adjacent to the outside swimming pool and the hotel door that accessed the swimming pool. Not too impressed!

Excellent hotel will great facilities

WE only wanted a 3 day stay but we enjoyed the hotel so much we would return anoher time without hesitation. The room faced west on a third floor balcony ovelooking the outdoor pool and patio. Very well situated to enjoy the afternoons and evenings with the sun in your face and looking at the golfcourse and mountains in the background.

Great place to stay

WE booked into a 1 br suite with full kitchen last weekend. Great amenities , beautiful room , spacious, clean, modern. Very nice hotel. I will return. Great value for room ! 3 hot tubs , 2 pools. Underground parking is clean and convenient . It was a very hot weekend...nice not stepping into a scorching car!

Outstanding Resort in the Invemere Valley

Outstanding resort with very good service, clean spacious rooms and one of the most comfortable beds I've experienced. Overall, good value for the money and easy access to Two outstanding golf courses. Worth a try!

Great Resort

This resort is lovely. They have everything you need, spa, restaurant, indoor/outdoor pool with bar, gold course across the road. You don't really have to leave if you don't want to, but if you do it is far enough away to be peaceful but close enough that it is a 5 minuted drive to downtown Invermere.

Livin' Large

Really impressed with the 1 bedroom suite.
Patio off master bedroom, and larger one off living room.
2 bathrooms was nice, and full kitchen made the family meals really easy.
Great pool and service. Enjoyed every minute.

Fantastic Service

Absolutely loved the hotel and amenities. Was able to hang out at the hotel for a couple days without the children going stir crazy - basketball net and tennis courts were a great help! Would suggest there be some rentals of tennis racquets, balls, and basketballs. All staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming!

uncomfortable beds, unfriendly lobby staff but nice amenities. Housekeeping staff was very good. Room was quiet and had a great view. Close to town for your shopping needs. Food was decent. Standard room was too small for a long stay.

Very enjoyable stay. Exceeded expectations.central to most activities. Two golf courses with the resort are very good and well looked after. Loft suite we stayed in was outstanding and contained all amenities .

Mid-week getaway

It was wonderful! We will definitely be back - beautiful resort, and great summer getaway. We especially loved the outdoor pool and the new spa looks amazing. It's peaceful, great quality for cost and close to home.

A nice place

Very clean. Good bed. Good flat screen TV. Very quiet between rooms. The pool can be noisy but quietens down at dark. Ridiculously small deck and restricted view. No safe in room. Good wireless internet (free !)

Great Place to Rest and Relax

Invermere is a great little lake town to spend a long weekend.
Copper Point Resort has great suites (full kitchens) for groups to share cost or for larger families. The views from the 2 balconies in our suite are amazing and there are also many windows to enjoy them from indoors as well.

Not impressed

Terrible hotel. Poor quality and poor service.
Our room was across from the outside smoking section, which made our room really smelly throughout the night. Rooms were small and unkept. I would not recommend staying here. Looks great on the outside, but not worth the money.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children under 4) stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 1 week. The suite was clean, spacious and sound proof. The resort is extremely kid friendly. From the phone call to reserve to the end of our stay this was a great experience! We would absolutely recommend it and also stay there again! The staff were wonderful The views were amazing too! Who knew that this would be one of the best stops we would make on our trip!

Weekend Getaway

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Very affordable and the staff and their service was very impressive as was the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Lots or little to do depending on what you like to do. Delicious food in restaurant. Will defiantly be going back.

OK but expected better

Stayed here recently for 3 nights over the long weekend. The hotel is right in Invermere and a good option if you are staying in town.
The hotel is just off the main road; if you have a car, the location will work .. if you don;t have a car, there isn't alot in walking distance.

Great place for families

I think Copper Point is a specatular place for families. They have a great joint indoor/outdoor pool and the addition of the Bouncy Castle this year is definitely a hit. The 2-bedroom suites are ideal for families, would highly recommend.

Nice place for a getaway

A high quality seasonal resort, with apartment style rooms. This is a perfect solution for a family if you want to have the amenities of home and the resort experience. Good staff, and great location.

The Booth's review

As mentioned, we had to have our keys reactivated every day (all 4 of us) which was an inconvenience. We tried to keep them away from our cell phones but it didn't seem to make any difference. The elevator was also very slow as it seemed to stop at each floor, whether there were people there or not.

Outstanding

We as a family have had an unbelievable stressful year and this holiday surpassed our expectations for relaxation, friendly service above and beyond. I would have liked to have housekeeping come in and clean the bathrooms

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

Very nice - somewhat pricey but would recommend and would stay there again. One thing we did not really like is such a late check in 4:00 pm - takes a big chunk out of the weekend - would have liked ti have been in and settled earlier.

Staff were friendly. Room was not ready to go for 4 pm in fact not until 5 pm. Restaurant 15 minute wait with no acknowledgement from staff at breakfast, breakfast buffet minimal and ran out frequently. Dinner (burgers) were poor quality and had no condiments provided for take out to room. Room was extremely noisy from plumbing.

Golf courses were great. The food is unusual so if you are with meat and potatoe individuals, they may not find the food very good but if you are adventurous the food is great. The room allows you to cook in it as it has akitchen

Would not stay here again

We stayed here for 2 nights on the way through to the Rockies and thought we would treat ourselves and stay in a one bedroom plus loft. I was totally underwhelmed. Firstly, the location. Great resort

We love this resort and this was our third time going there, however our room was disgusting when we arrived. The pool and hottubs were great and spa experience was good. Beautiful golf courses nearby

Great stay

Nice place to spend a week with two teenage boys....close to lots of golf, and only minutes to Invermere. Condo has lots of room and well appointed. Three hot tubs, two pools and nice sitting chairs to relax and read a book.

Beautiful facility, Poor staff

The facility is beautiful. The staff was less than average. Most seemed like they wanted to be elsewhere. Advertised as a resort but has a long way to go. Pool staff non existent, seemed thay had one houseman for all needs.

NOT worth the extra

At 445pm...we are still waiting for our room. Front desk says they were busy last night.... no kidding, it's high season...smack in the middle of summer. The fact that this surprises them and are unapologetic is my issue.

Weekend stay

Beautiful rooms and facilities. Great for families. Many choices of activities. The rooms are a bit noisy. You can hear the guests above talking, walking and flushing the toilet.

Attractive resort but very small rooms and poor customer service

This is an attractive resort located just outside of Invermere and just off Highway 93. Our first difficulty was finding a parking spot so that we could check in. The outdoor parking lot was completely full and cars were parked blocking the lane between the rows making it necessary to back out of each row while looking for a spot.... more

If you're wanting great hospitality find another resort. The rooms are beautiful but the staff are lacking in friendliness and attentiveness. Seem to be understaffed as well. Make sure you do not get a inside corner room or deck.
We were booked for 3 night and left after one. Tried to upgrade for large bucks but were told it was inavailable. Brought outside chairs and table in to sit at. Not again.

Beautiful hotel but bad service

I wasn't able to get into my room until 3.5 hrs after they told me I could check in at 2. My shower did not work and the manager was very rude to me. I found my room to be very clean but small for the price.

Quick trip to Invermere

Copperpoint provides our family a great option to stay for a night in Invermere where our extended family frequents with day trips. As a large group the loft and 3 bedroom suite and kitchen was most convenient. Our family always enjoys the indoor and outdoor pool in addition to visiting the Fairmont Hot Springs in the area.

Family Friendly

Copper Pointe is a fantastic property. it is pricey but the value of the pool and room puts a smile on my family's faces. I have spent 9 nights their in the last 2 years and will continue to go back as long as the quality remains.

Disappointing Stay

Lots of fancy upgrades but not that comfortable. Hotel is perched on a hill, forget about a nice walk unless you golf . The temperature in the room was hard to control and the bed is hard. Got this room at a discounted price via an online booking service. And we arrived on a motorcycle. So I'm not sure which factor determined why we got such a c@!%!y room. Great new vacation condos offering nice amenities and a golf course. Located midway between Fairmont Hot Springs and Radium Hot Springs. Nice clean rooms offering suite style accommodations with full or mini kitchens. Elements Grill offers a great menu with inexpensive pricing. Golf Paradise

Great facility! Staff is excellent! No smoking on your deck but there are assigned smoking areas! Lots of kids but still very quiet! The late night menu was great one night and very poor the next night.

It's a quiet location but the walls are thin and you can hear every noise from the next room. Great place

Close to everything. Enjoyed the golf course. Great facility with lots of water sprts and great scenery.

Noisy room

All the hotels.com users in our group were assigned rooms adjacent to a very noisy party room. Plumbing noises were intrusive. Staff were very young and ill-equipped to resolve problems. Not recommended.

Regular room was tiny, suites huge!

We booked a last minute one night stay and were given a 'regular' room. The room was so small that we had to re-arrange furniture to get the balcony door open wide enough that we didn't have to step over the corner of the bed to reach it. Superbly appointed facility with large suites.

Not the greatest location unless you are an avid golfer. The suites have all the luxury amenities of expensive condos. If only the resort could be located somewhere else!

Breakfast was included, but disappointing.

Breakfast buffet was included, but consisted of basics, sausage/bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and absolutely nothing else. Kind of expected the usually more generous offerings...like some toast and juice maybe? On the positive side, staff are nice and the restaurant patio is quite pretty.

stayed just the 1 night on the way home and booked the standard room which was quite small. lighting in room was a bit weird . bathroom had terrible lighting to get ready , just ask my wife , and only one bedside lamp. the pools and spas were great! the restaurant was not kid friendly and limited for such large resort. if not spending much time in your room the pools and spas are wonderful then... more

First Class Experience...

My wife and I spent three nights at Copper Point Resort from October 4-7, 2011. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite. We're in our mid-30s.The resort was almost empty. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. As it was our anniversary, this suited us just fine.It was a lovely stay. The rooms are really first rate. It's well worth upgrading over the basic hotel room.
