Complexe Desjardins in a mall in downtown Montreal, connected to Place des Arts. It was a block away from my hotel.

After having dinner in Chinatown and exploring the area, I walked back with a large mango lychee slush beverage and dropped by this mall to take a look before heading back to the hotel.

This is the Sherman Oaks Square of Montreal except that it's a lot prettier inside. Complexe Desjardins is a very large shopping mall with some very instagrammable decor but otherwise, serves no purpose except to protect you from rain or intense heat. There is no shopping available so to speak. IDK, not much of a selection, don't waste your time.

Complexe Desjardins is a shopping mall that's connected to the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Place des Arts. It's big and the atrium is beautiful with a huge water fountain that has water and light shows. There's also a carousel.

The mall looks very pretty, but the selection of stores is not great. While the building is huge, most of it is office spaces, so the retail area is not really that big.... plus

Hazy is my recollection of this giant shopping mall, for a few reasons. The first of which is that I was in Montreal in the heat of summer, and oppressive sweating notwithstanding, I'm not going there to spend a bunch of time inside. So my time inside was limited to curiosity about what in the world this massive place was.

This is a beautiful mall right in the middle of the place des arts district. When I first came to Montreal over 5 years ago, I came to this mall and found it to be a nice retreat after walking through the city. Rest your tired feet here and have a snack or meal at their expansive food court. The centre court is huge and a great place to sit and watch people.

Love this shopping center. Has any and everything you're looking for. Great food, good people and even though it was packed, it did not feel like a packed shopping center like in the states. Whatever you're looking for from custom t-shirts to good writing pens, you'll find it here.

This is a pretty cool mall! And the fountain in the middle is awesome, the umbrellas go up and down and the fountain goes really high up into the air. Its like its raining from the ground. Its a pretty cool thing to see. And they have it playing to music. Its cool to just sit there and watch that. Definitely a thing to see.

Found this place after shopping at the supermarket which is connected to this shopping mall complex. There are shops and food courts. It's a nice spot to warm up from the cold.

This is a standard mall and it's a good spot if you're trying to get out of the rain, which is what I was doing whilst on holiday for a few days in Montreal. It's well-maintained and there's some kind of fountain show every hour, which is entertaining for kids and bored adults.

I went to Complexe Desjardins since this shopping mall/complex houses the main office of Revenue Quebec in Montreal and I needed to pick up some tax forms.

The mall is very large and even though it was built a long time ago (probably over 40 years ago), it is very well maintained. It has clothing boutiques and a food court. There is also a main atrium area that will sometimes have special... plus

The mall is connected to an IGA supermarket. I went into the IGA not knowing it would lead to this beautiful mall. Various shops that I didn't recognize; French/Canadian brands more than brands in the U.S. They did have couple of chocolate and desserts shops that looked so decadent. It was late so most of them were closed.

Stayed at the Hyatt connected to this mall for the F1 Grand Prix. Beautiful and spacious shopping complex with an eye-catching water feature in the center. Good variety of food court selections. However, there are only a limited amount of shops to browse in and they do not stay open for very long.

Located right next to the Museum of Contemporary Art and in Place des Arts, this shopping centre is located directly underneath the Hyatt. Inside is a small foodcourt and McDonalds in the basement along with a beautiful water fountain. It's an ok mall. I find it very elegant and spacious, but there aren't that many stores inside.

I used to have my hair cut here because my friend worked at one of the salons. So I know the mall pretty well. I enjoy the book store and the seating options, but I wouldn't visit to shop.

Nice underground mall in Montreal. Did not spend enough time here for my wife to shop. Haha! We were too busy touring this beautiful city. When we walked through here, the stores were already closed. Good thing cause we saved money!

If we lived in Montreal, I am pretty certain that we would be dropping by here anytime that we were in the area.

I ordered two beef teriyaki with rice by accident, at first the lady serving me was completely oblivious to this mistake, after repeating myself four times she snarled at me and finally decided to reimburse the second one after the cook started yelling at her.

The beef is coated in a thick layer of fat.. more fat than meat.

This is the underground mall everyone talks about . It was right underneath our hyatt hotel.

The mall is huge with a bit fointain in the center. The stores are ok and mostly all local mom and pop as far i can see. No big departmental stires or atleast none that i could see.

The mall hosts a big food court. The biggest i have seen. Nothing that big in US. The food court is very very.good. it... plus

Was shopping here on Monday evening when a few exits were blocked before 6 pm with no directions/help offered on how to leave the building - 'Sorry, you can't leave here' - Where can we leave?' - 'there are other exits open'.

We ended up circling inside of the building trying to get out. Finally, got out and had to walk all around the building in the rain to get back to the hotel.

I always make it a point to stop here when I am in Montreal just to watch the Water Fountain Show for a brief time of reflection and pure enjoyment. There are some interesting stores on both levels of the complex and a wonderful IGA market as well. IGA's in Quebec are quite different from the ones stateside mostly due to the varied French Canadian products they carry as well as products from... plus

One of several malls connected to the Montreal underground. The food court here has a wide selection and nice view of the large central fountain.

Complex Desardins is quite interesting that it's a mall. Although I don't see many stores that wow me! 14 women's stores and barely any men's stores (4 eek). It does however have a food court and IGA plus a health club. If you are staying at the Hyatt or live or work nearby then this is super convenient! However head to another mall as selection is limited!

Was there for Fromage D'ici, how do you rate a shopping mall if you ain't a mallrat?

It's a nice shopping mall,but there are no floor plans with list of shops.I found it bit confusing,as it take time to find specific store.

I would never come here to shop because the stores are not impressive, but it is an extremely convenient and well located complex if you happen to be near the festival sites or Chinatown.

Whenever I am at a festival at the Quartier Des Spectacles, coming in this mall is always a nice relief to cool down with some air conditioner, take a seat or use the clean restrooms.

Don't forget to check out the large fountain and its accompanying suspended animation and light show located on the lowest floor in the center of the mall.

I didn't expect much when I look at the facade of Complexe Desjardins... I don't even know it is a shopping centre... All I remember that it is cold and windy and anywhere indoor is a relief...

Such a huge open space with huge windows and skylights...

You can find your usual retail stores here and even a hotel on site.

It is also connected with the Underground City and Metro Stations.

This is an OK mall that is half underground, but it seems that the main attraction is the food court. I certainly saw more people in the food court than in the actual stores.

A lot of cute places to grab items you've forgotten if you're a traveler, but a place to eat if you're a local.

Finding a decent salad place was difficult, but it's the nicest food court I've been to with the numerous... plus

I want to share my experiences, yes in plural, at the hair salon located in the lower level at Complex Desjardins.

First, I went because I wanted to get a hair cut and color my hair, luckily, I changed my mind and just got the ends cut since I didn't get a good feeling about the place. The person who did it did a terrible job and I felt like I just went there to throw away my money.

Je connais ce lieu pour l'avoir visité lors d'un séjour de presque un mois au Québec.

Ici c'est la demeure qui règne. Certaines boutique sont a elle seul de vrai petit centre commercial. En hiver quand la T extérieur avoisine les -20 ces lieux se transforme en ville secondaire.

Vraiment génial.
