The service was wonderful! They had toiletries to replace the ones I did not bring with me, free of charge. The breakfast was good and hot. The room had a recycle bin in it, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
The hotel room was excellent, comfortable as well as very clean. The room I stayed in suited my needs, it had a king-size bed, mini-fridge and microwave and a hot breakfast in the morning. I would definitely will return to this hotel next time I am in Toronto.
Poor lighting in parking lot area, unsafe. Building permeated with cigarette smell. Dingy and worn out. No elevator. Noisey. Was given a room key to a room that was already occupied... immediately left and found other accomodations. Avoid this hotel.
I recently attended a conference at the Ontario Science Centre and needed to book a hotel within a week of attending the conference. Expedia has always been an excellent resource for my travel needs. The Comfort Inn on Kingston Road was very easy to find and access from Highway 401, coming from Ottawa. The hotel's location was perfect for my travel plans in Toronto. I checked-in to the hotel... more
Everything looks pretty modern. The staff was polite. They kept the complimentary breakfast stocked and they had a good variety. It would've been better had we gotten the queen size bed that was on our confirmation email as it was not comfortable to share a double bed otherwise i would have given them a higher rating overall. Room was very clean. Only things they could improve on is the burn... more
Checked in very late, checked out early. Very little contract with staff. Didn't have time for breakfast so can't comment on that. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
we were just there for two nights over Thanksgiving and it was close to the family home. Great experience and quiet room. Nice beds. Clean. Close to TTC and main roads.
Close to family in Scarborough. Good breakfast to start the day. Only downside was I did not request a room on the ground floor which would have been better for my Mom since there are no elevators. The staff helpef us with our bags and Mom managed the stairs-slowly.
The hotel was comfortable, clean, the staff was helpful, breakfast was excellent & a nice bonus when I was expecting cold cereal & muffins, & found scrabbled eggs, fresh coffee & orange juice & more. The location was easy to find & I would recommend staying here & will stay here again with my family.
Staff were great. Hotel was clean. The free breakfast was quite a nice spread with lots of hot food to choose from. My biggest complaint is not about the hotel, but the area it is in. My 3 yr old and I witnessed a drug deal just outside the hotel window. The motel next door to the hotel we stayed in is a cesspool with very rough characters. I would still go there again if we needed a place in... more
No well known or chain restaurants in the area. The complimentary breakfast was poor. Stick to the cereal or waffles. The rooms were very clean and modern. Staff was very helpful. It's close to the zoo.
This is a great hotel for quality vs price. Even thought it's a little far from downtown Toronto, the public transport is quite efficient and friendly to use. Good experience overall.
Not what I expected and too expensive for what it offers.
friendly staff, clean and comfortable and good breakfast
We booked this hotel for one night as we needed something in the Scarborough area with parking. The free wifi and the complimentary breakfast sealed the deal! Arriving late at almost 1am, we were told we'd been given a double queen as the hotel was fully booked, which was fine by us! Had a solid night's sleep in a comfortable, clean room. We hadn't got high hopes for the breakfast, especially... more
The rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast included! Close to the Toronto Metro Zoo.
Very good. Would go back again. Breakfast excellent, friendly staff. Great fir price
No complaints staff was friendly room was great overall good experience would stay again.
We showed up and it was 11 pm, the guy working didn't really know what he was doing. We had 2 two year olds and a lot of bags so we walked all the way up to our room finally tried the key and heard someone from inside saying hey this is our room! So we had to walk all the way back downstairs and he gave us the wrong room. We booked for 2 days, the second day we had the children sleeping in our... more
The staff were friendly , the hotel was clean and well maintained , our room was perfect . The location was perfect for us to travel easily to Down Town Toronto on the Go Train. The hotel offered a very good complimentary breakfast . Very reasonable rates too
Old, dingy, smelly cheap motel. Thankfully I was travelling on business. Had my family been with me we would have never stayed. Comfort Inn has just dropped to the bottom of my trusted list.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had minimal staff interaction but all were friendly and available. The complementary breakfast had a great selection of eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels, waffles toast and fruit. The fitness room was very small but was there. There aren't many attractions immediately surrounding the comfort Inn except bluffer's park which includes trails, a beach and... more
This hotel was perfect for all our needs and provided us with affordable accomodations with a delicious breakfast in the morning.
I had to find a hotel 24 hrs before visiting toronto .. The Hotel was very clean, I was greeted by Mr. Shan and he was such a pleasant gentlemen. Upon our arrival he greeted us warmly with smiles and was able to provide me with so much info regarding the hotel services. This is not our first time staying here. Although there is no elevator and nothing special about the place (i.e., no pool, no gym), it is a reasonably priced hotel that works. The staff is friendly and quite accommodating. The rooms are clean, and the parking is free. Furthermore, the breakfast offers enough variety for all of us (e.g., yogurt,... more
I have a great staying in comfort inn!The staff are very nice and the room is clean. And delicious breakfast! This is a good place for having a rest or taking a trip! Also, the price is reasonable and it is a good choice to have a try.
My wife and I stayed at this inn on 23 May. The location was somewhat far away from downtown. The front desk staff was friendly. There was no elevator. We had to take our bags upstairs. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Though our room faced the highway, the window insulation was perfect. We had a good... more
Worst stay ever, no communication between reservation website and hotel. I had made a reservation including two dogs, hotel was not informed by reservation website, wanted to throw us out the next morning unless we paid an extra per night per dog. reservation website was great and refunded us the money but hotel staff were bad, they did not communicate the pet's rules and did not write note in... more
I stayed here for a quick overnight as I was passing through Toronto. The hotel itself was decent for 3-star with modern bedding, rooms and decor. The room and bathroom were very clean. A few details like an outlet cover missing, a damaged vent cover and outdated air unit brought the rating down a bit. The breakfast was okay as the quality of the eggs was mediocre. The surrounding buildings... more
Although the facilities are a bit dated, the great location and service make this a good choice.
I absolutely loved my whole time there, from the beginning of our arrival Mr. Shan at the front desk was nothing but welcoming, and knowledgeable. he quickly provided me with the services of the hotel and whenever I had a question he was always disposable to help. During my stay there the air conditioner for my room was not working and Shan quickly offered his services to help me, I found that... more
The price to stay at this hotel was good and the location made it easy to access the 401. As I had a paid they charged me a pet fee and put me in a smoking room despite my booking for non-smoking. The room smelled of tobacco which made sleeping difficult, also when I came back to the room and turned on the lights there was a large house centipede bug crawling on the floor. I did not ask for... more
The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot, with sufficient variety to feed us all. Our second-floor window overlooked the backyard of the neighbouring house with garbage and junk strewn all over it. On the other side of the hotel was a run-down older motel. Most unfortunate surroundings. Otherwise, the price was reasonable and definitely worth the the... more
We were looking for a place to sleep for one night and to have breakfast in the morning. There was 3 adults and one child. We had an sporting event to attend that day. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of tasty food. Our only concern was the location of the hotel. We did not feel comfortable in that area. For that reason... more
We stayed there Saturday night April 12, 2014 as we were in town for my Father's 80th birthday surprise party. The room was very clean, we had a very comfortable night's sleep and breakfast in the morning was very good (enough choices for everyone). The dining area, lobby, everything was very clean, well kept. Would definitely recommend.
My necklace went missing after staying here When i went into the non-smoking room i found a green lighter and thought wow lol do the maids clean? & i thought this was a non smoking room :S apparently they do clean ... i left the room at 11 and noticed i left my necklace beside the bed. We went to Tor for Utsc's campus tour. This hotel is close to the campus, also it took us about 30 minutes to downtown. The breakfast is better than complimentary breakfast provided by other hotel. plus you can use microwave oven in you room.Overall, it's good to stay.
The hotel was a perfect location for my trip and the facilities were first rate. The decor had clearly been updated, the room was clean, the front desk staff very nice. I'd definitely stay here again.
excellente quality to price ratio, would definately stay here again
my only complaint was that there was a high pitched noise that did not stop for the whole night. it wasn't that loud but it was still noticeable.
continental breakfast was good, the waffle maker was great.
the rooms were clean, no problems there. I didn't really deal with the staff personally but they seemed friendly and hospitable enough.
I would just like to thank the Comfort Inn on behalf of our entire crew. I am the director of a short film being made for Ryerson University and we needed to shoot a scene that took place in a motel. After much searching, The comfort inn on Kingston Road agreed to let us film there for a night. Right... more
Too old and dirty hotel, even with no elevator. Bagage is too heavy to lift to room by hand. Air conditions is too bad, noisy and can not supply enough warmness. Overall, I don't like the hotel at all.
I stay here frequently. The service is great and the rooms are clean.
I've been staying at the Comfort Inn Toronto East a few times and I'm amazed how the facility is. The front desk lady is nice, courteous and concerning. The room overall were really clean plus HD TV with cable and wifi. They should close down all the other motels like Super 8 and those dirty run down unknown motels. Comfort... more
I stayed here just the other night. The hotel itself was fine. The customer service at front desk was fine. The morning breakfast was fine. The location was ok and lots of parking was great. CLean hotel a little over priced for the area. Will go back
So glad we found this place! We drove from Manitoba to Queen's University to move our graduate son from Kingston to Toronto. He had a 9:00 AM move-in time in the heart of the Bloor/Yonge district so we wanted a place to stay close by the previous night. Not familiar with Toronto, it was all pretty overwhelming, especially having to... more
We only stayed at this hotel for one night, however, I found this hotel to be very clean, rooms have fridge and microwave, beds are very comfortable, it's a quiet area so getting a good nights sleep was easy, complimentary breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffle maker, bagels, fruits, yogurt; this was a great value for the money. Although there is no pool, I would stay there again while in... more
We had to vacate our home because of a recent power outage and were fortunate enough to get a room at the Comfort Inn East. I got an inexpensive room at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality that we received. The service was good with the front desk guy who's waiting to greet you. I do not even know where to begin. For starters, all of the front desk staff were extremely rude. I wasn't sure what to expect based on some mixed TripAdvisor reviews, but this Comfort Inn was very nice. Air Conditioning and ventilation system was very poor. Room was too warm no matter how long the thermostat was set to a lower temperature. Parking area in back of hotel was not well lit. Surrounding neighborhood was scary and run down. The room itself was nice.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. The room we stayed in was basic but served its purpose. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. The concierge was very friendly on both check in & check out. Location was good, close to the Eglinton GO station- $6.00 cab or 15 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.
The room was ok , there was no view to speak of but it served the purpose . Updates are needed here as the paint was pealing from the ceiling a little bit . Needs a little TLC here . Staff was very nice .
Three of us stayed there for 15 nights in September in order for us to visit family who lived nearby. The hotel area was clean & inviting and the rooms to a good standard for the price. Considering the location just off a main route the room was very quiet with absolutely no noise from the traffic. Excellent breakfast allowed... more

Friendly welcome - clean and comfortable. Pleasant self-serve breakfast. The staff and reception were very accommodating since we have arrived prior to check-in time. We were explained in detail by Rachel how to get around by Metro. She printed maps for us - above and beyond service.
It was pretty good. The only down side, we were on the second floor and it was a little difficult to navigate the stairs with all our stuff. Everything else was good.
Room was nice and updated....but....kinda dirty/dusty. Yes, it was a smoking room...but do the blankets really need to have burn marks on them.....?

Not fancy, not ugly. Just what we were looking for for spending the night.
Good hot breakfast plentiful. 4 adults in 2 queen size beds and an air mattress adequate. Rooms kept very clean.
This hotel is good if you have a car and want to easily go to eat in a nearby suburb, etc. It also is close to public transportation. You can either take a bus and the subway or drive an park at the subway station for a $4 fee. That makes it very convenient and the neighborhood seems to be safe.
While the hotel and it's amenities were adequate (a clean and quiet room, though the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned - not fond of using someone else's soap), it is somewhat awkward to find (we actually drove past it the first time as the signage wasn't visible nor clear from a distance, then had to double back as there was a median preventing us from turning left into the parking lot), and... more
We stayed at this hotel for four nights in July. We enjoyed the hospitality and dedication of the staff, especially Shan. The breakfast is quite varied, but we advise you to get up early if you like yogout or fruit because they are available in limited quantities.
We had a very pleasant stay. Our son is going to Centennial College and this hotel was conveniently located for us to visit. Although it is on a busy street, it was quiet inside. Staff was not very friendly. We felt uncomfortable in the neighbourhood. The air/heating unit is old and does not work well. We paid online then had to pay more because we had dogs yet on booking the hotel we had already discussed this. Then we had to wait for a room. The manager had the nerve to suggest we use the side door for the dogs, which by the way had a ladder almost right over the door.
The only pleasing thing about our stay was the comfort of the bed. Thats it - nothing more.
We had booked one room with 2 queen beds for four adults. It was a really hot day and the air conditioner in the room was way too loud that we had to turn it off. The sheets had thick flannel sheets which were not at all appropriate for a hot summer day, especially given the situation with the A.C. We had trouble sleeping that night. We should have booked 2 separate rooms given we were four.... more
