Comfortable Stay

The service was wonderful! They had toiletries to replace the ones I did not bring with me, free of charge. The breakfast was good and hot. The room had a recycle bin in it, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

Great hotel, close to Highway 401.

The hotel room was excellent, comfortable as well as very clean. The room I stayed in suited my needs, it had a king-size bed, mini-fridge and microwave and a hot breakfast in the morning. I would definitely will return to this hotel next time I am in Toronto.

Avoid this hotel, dirty, smelly, not safe

Poor lighting in parking lot area, unsafe. Building permeated with cigarette smell. Dingy and worn out. No elevator. Noisey. Was given a room key to a room that was already occupied... immediately left and found other accomodations. Avoid this hotel.

Nice in Scarborough

we were just there for two nights over Thanksgiving and it was close to the family home. Great experience and quiet room. Nice beds. Clean. Close to TTC and main roads.

Area was no worse than any where else in Toronto. Breakfast buffet was good. Place served it's purpose quality inexpensive lodgings for the night.

Nice hotel a bit far from town

This is a great hotel for quality vs price. Even thought it's a little far from downtown Toronto, the public transport is quite efficient and friendly to use. Good experience overall.

We stayed there Saturday night April 12, 2014 as we were in town for my Father's 80th birthday surprise party. We went to Tor for Utsc's campus tour. This hotel is close to the campus, also it took us about 30 minutes to downtown. The breakfast is better than complimentary breakfast provided by other hotel. plus you can use microwave oven in you room.Overall, it's good to stay.

my only complaint was that there was a high pitched noise that did not stop for the whole night. it wasn't that loud but it was still noticeable.

Overall Satisfactory Experience

This hotel is good if you have a car and want to easily go to eat in a nearby suburb, etc. It also is close to public transportation. You can either take a bus and the subway or drive an park at the subway station for a $4 fee. That makes it very convenient and the neighborhood seems to be safe.

Staff was not very friendly. We felt uncomfortable in the neighbourhood. The air/heating unit is old and does not work well. We paid online then had to pay more because we had dogs yet on booking the hotel we had already discussed this. Then we had to wait for a room. The manager had the nerve to suggest we use the side door for the dogs, which by the way had a ladder almost right over the door.

Great value, and soooo quiet

I spent 5 nights on a business trip and thought this was a great place to stay. Very quiet, with pleasant, polite, friendly and helpful staff.
Would stay there again, and recommend it.
The only shortcoming is that there are no restaurants within short walking distance, so a car would be an advantage.

I booked a NON-SMOKING ROOM. I was given a nasty, stinking smoking room upon checkin, counterperson said "sorry we are sold out"... I am allergic to smoke yet we had no alternative place to stay so I put my big boy pants on and sucked it up.There were other guests running through halls making noise. Just visiting toronto area, hotel was farther from downtown than I expected. Hotel staff were helpful in getting us to the closest Metro station.

this comfort inn is a no frills property.no elevators.and the rooms can use an upgrade. upon entering my room and looking for a lost item i discovered some items from beer tops to old candy that had not been cleaned.the front desk staff you will find friendly and helpful.
