We stayed here this past winter while snowmobiling. The trail is right beside hotel. There is a Tim Horton's on the other side of hotel and all kinds of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were clean, hotel was quiet. Great breakfast bar which is complimentary to get started on your day.

Enroute to our relatives in Ontario, we stopped at this hotel after an unsatisfactory visit to another Comfort Inn in Eastern Ontario. The difference in the warm welcome reception we received from the workers at the desk and around the hotel from the earlier hotel was stark. A very positive experience in Orillia.

We stayed here on a Friday night in September. Our room had a queen sized bed, pull out couch, fridge and a microwave. The room was very clean and a good size. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok.

Not much to say

Standard CI. Nice front desk, gave me a ground floor room without charging me for it. Other than that pretty standard. Now I am just padding because TA makes you put a 200 character minimum, which is kind of a silly rule in that I said everything I needed to in less than 200 characters.

Cleanliness is Key

Stayed on July 3 on my to Toronto Airport, room was spotless and the most important the guest service at this hotel is wonderful. Staff very helpful and breakfast was out early as I had a 4am pick up. Thank you for the great service and I will return, keep up the great work.

Great experience

Was in Orillia for a concert on Saturday. I did read the reviews about being a tired property and we stayed in room 218, BUT....I sure think cleanliness and great staff rate much higher than shiny and new.

I have stayed at this Hotel a number of times during the past 10-12 years, and each time, it seems to a little further down hill. The Hotel is showing it's age! Nice staff. Smelly hallway, reaked of old smokey hallway from when people were allowed to smoke inside. Breakfast was a joke. Food was TERRIBLE and not even a place to sit? Room was as average as average can be which is what I expected.

Stayed on this past saturday, rooms were good and clean, I don't recommend non smoking rooms around the smoking area they still stink!!
Morning check out staff was great and friendly, however the evening desk staff was not very friendly at all.
Breakfast was delicious though, a good quick fix before you hit the road!

A family member was having surgery at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital. This is a convenient location, turn onto Memorial Dr. from Comfort Inn and it goes directly to Hospital.
The beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were all pleasant, smiling, helpful and accomodating.

Not a bad choice to stay during a concert night Casino Rams. Most other hotels were overpriced in Orillia whenever there is concert in the Casino.
Comfort Inn is fairly reasonable priced. I booked it directly through the hotel web site which was cheaper than other hotel web sites. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very courteous.... more

Made me feel welcome but..... it was not what was advertised.

This hotel advertised free shuttle service to the casino where we had tickets to a show. There was no shuttle and the taxis there and back cost me an additional $78 on top of the hotel room. Also, the hallways were very loud with parties through till 4AM. Not really a relaxing and restful stay.
