Nice hotel, very pleased with service.

Very nice place to stay. Staff was very nice and informative. Beds were very comfortable. Pool was nice. Rooms were very clean and had all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. l would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Good experience

Only spent one night, but room was very clean and comfortable beds. Disappointed the rooms with a view did not include two double beds but otherwise, enjoyed our stay.

Quiet, clean, spacious room

I stayed at the Comfort Inn for 2 nights in September. The hotel is located on a Main Street. Lots of parking. Easy drive to downtown Halifax and the town of Bedford. Good, quiet air cond. nice size fridge. Spacious room. Would recommend to anyone.

Looks like an old victorian home, not a cookie cutter box hotel. We loved it. Great view of the water.

Nice hotel

Breakfast area could use more seats. Parking lot can be a bit tight. Hotel had a quiet policy after 10 pm and I loved that. Nice rooms, well kept hotel.

Nice view of the harbor, easy access ammenitys

no problems finding, parking was a bit tight especially when there were bus tours and the bus had to take 3 parking spaces each.

In a great location

Having the outdoor patio was the best. It's always nice to be able to have a swim and best of all breakfast in the morning is always nice to have it ready for you so you can eat and run.

Convenient Spot 15 minutes from Halifax Center

This chain hotel is located a short drive from downtown Halifax. The property is clean and the staff are very helpful. A nice breakfast including hot items -- all included in a great room price. Used the small guest launndry without having to wait. Good wifi. We would certainly return and recommend the site to others.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the continental breakfast in the AM. the attendant was friendly and efficient. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable.

it was a very warm and welcoming place. The staff when they made up the rooms in the morning paid close attention to small details and carefully placed the children's special stuffed animals on the bed on top of the pillows. My son had even made a bed on the floor with extra blankets and pillows and they "made" it up too which made him feel special!!

An enjoyable experience!

Coming from Toronto, I can't say there is anything to complain about at this hotel. If there were anything, it would be that they should have a sauna, as the water in the pool was a bit chilly. Otherwise, no complaints with the room, breakfast, staff, location, etc.. Beautiful view of the water on the Bedford Highway. I will be back!

Nice hotel on the water

The staff at this hotel made my stay so enjoyable. They provided everything I needed and went above and beyond my expectations. The room was very clean and bright and the beds were very comfortable. I had a room with a kitchen and a separate bedroom for a very reasonable rate. I would go there again.

Superb experience all round.

Stated that it was a continental breakfast but actually had cereals, toast, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, fruit juices, waffles, hot chocolate, tea, coffee etc. Very good all round and cannot praise enough.

a very nice hotel

when we arrived our rooms were not available but they upgraded us to a small suite which was very nice and unexpected. This has never happened to us before. the hotel was quiet and was just what we needed after a day of shopping. The staff answered all our questions pleasantly and we really enjoyed our stay and will probably use this hotel again in the future.

Lovely little spot, staff was very nice and helpful. The spread on one of the beds was stained - we were only there for two nights therefore did not report it, otherwise stay was fine.

Excellent stay

The staff were great, the the room was clean and the breakfast was good. Our daughter loved the pool. Overall, we had a great time, I would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Rooms are out-dated but spacious. Bath tub is big and deep, good for a hot spa. Corridors are long and narrow. Best thing was their hot breakfast.

We were very pleased with the service received by the staff upon our arrival. We checked into our room and were starting to get comfortable. Recommend this hotel

This is an older hotel which has been upgraded. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfy. We had a small issue with our room but brought it to the attention of the reception desk and when we returned it was taken care of. Staff was very polite.

A very nice experience. Breakfast was very good. View from front area was a pleasant one of the bay. Parking was tight. They are in the process of refurbishing rooms, so it will be even better..Would stay again.

Convenient to university

The staff were excellent & helpful. They printed directions for places I wanted to visit & shared their ideas of things to see while there. The building itself is in the side of a hill so there are many levels which means stairs so be warned if you travel heavy!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Check-in was fast, staff were very friendly and helpfull. The rates are very reasonable and even include free wi-fi and hot and cold breakfast. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and we will definitely stay here again when we come back.

A positive and pleasant experience!
