The Comfort Inn Burlington offers bright, spacious rooms that accomodate all your needs. Centrally located between Downtown Toronto and Niagara Falls
We stayed here for one night July 14th, 2014. The hotel is still undergoing renovations, although not intrusive to the guests as far as we could tell. There was no noise from the work. Access remained clear to everything. The room we were assigned was newly updated with new carpets and decor, very inviting and comfortable. The halls and lobby... more
Having traveled all over Canada, and being a Corporate partner with the Choice Hotels group, I didn't have any hesitation in booking with Comfort Inn Burlington, while vacationing from Nova Scotia and visiting family in the area.
The hotel, and the room we stayed in, have been extensively renovated and updated - the new beds are super comfortable, and the...

This Comfort Inn has just completed a total renovation. I understand there were some disruptions during the renovations but now there are no problems The rooms are completely redecorated complete with new furniture and super comfortable new beds. The internet is strong and works well. It is password protected so this adds a degree of security. The free breakfast is... more
Stayed this past weekend. Completely renovated and updated which is nice. Bed was super comfortable. Loved the waffles for breakfast! Shopping at Burlington Mall is really close by. Staff was very friendly. Very affordable. Enjoyed my stay very much, and plan to stay here again the next time I'm in Burlington.
When my fiancé and I booked this hotel, we thought wow what a deal. The price what great and the reviews we pretty average. We arrived checked in then was off to visit family. I was waiting in the lobby for my fiancé and noticed a little disturbance from a couple attempting to check out. They left and I followed them to ask why they were leaving. They replied, " there's bed bugs in our room, if... more
We booked Comfort Inn in Burlington, Ontario for four days in July in order to attend our daughters wedding. Cameron Oates, Assistant Manager made sure that our special requests were taken care of. Ground floor accommodation, beautiful newly rennovated rooms for us and other guests that also made reservations here, comfortable beds, great service, friendly atmosphere, clean rooms, refrigerator,... more
I've stayed here 3 times. This year I noted that it is newly renovated and under new ownership. It is pet friendly and has a nice free breakfast in the morning. If you are traveling with a dog ask for a first floor room in the back. You can walk right out of your room through the parking lot to... more
Reservations were made 2 months ahead of time for accomodations for 2 adults and 1 dog for 3 nights. I requested a room with one queen bed but upon arrival was told the only room available had 2 queen beds. We found it confining and too cramped with 2 beds, therefore we only used it for sleeping and not relaxing.... more
My small town suffered a power outage as a result of a bad storm (tornado, rather) and it was late at night before my kids and I discovered our predicament. We drove to the Comfort Inn and checked in at 12:30 a.m., no problem at all, GREAT new rooms, super clean and we even had breakfast in the morning! Beds... more
If you accumulate points with stays and credit card purchases at Choice Hotels, you can enjoy nights at this hotel for 6000 points, and members know that is the least amount of points a hotel night will cost you with this chain. The normal rate at this time of year is $80.00 and this hotel is well worth it. I... more
My husband and I are diamond members of this chain, and I was very disappointed. We were not told that renovations were occurring, and the workers were hanging around outside our room most of the afternoon. I asked where the ice machine was and the staff did not know. From 7:00 pm there was a guy changing a tire outside... more
We where lucky to get a new room thats renovated .This hotel is under a major renovation right now.The staff are very friendly and helpful. The best part of our hotel stay is that the beds are so comfortable. Not much of a choice foe breakfast offered. There is no pool or workout center but there is a workout center down the street... more
Stayed one night with my wife on a Saturday night. Hotel met or exceeded all expectations I had, especially based on the price. Sure the lobby was under renovations, but the only people that could complain about that are probably the same people that would complain that it was "out-dated" if it weren't being worked on. Would definitely return.
Nice hotel for the price and easy access for the pet rooms. Good breakfast and friendly staff .We go back on a regular basis .Good area for shopping and going to events in Toronto or Hamilton. We definitely will go back, mainly because of the dog, no extra charge.
This motel was under renovation when we visited, however, the work was not disruptive. The room was comfortable and adequate, although not exceptional. The price was within reason.
Had some problems with the TV but staff dealt with the issue promptly.
The property allows pets and our dog was well received. The room had sliding doors and an area where...

My wife and I were going to be in Toronto recently, but we didn't want to spend Toronto prices on a room. I found this Comfort Inn in Burlington and we stayed there. It was only 1/2 an hour to our destination in Toronto, and it was a fraction of the price we'd pay for a Toronto hotel room. The... more
Hotel staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Room was a great value.
We travel as a retired couple on a budget in smoking rooms and are very satisfied with the Burlington Comfort Inn, four night stays in the last 2 years a stop to visit friends before or after visiting son 5 hours away.

I knew when I checked I knew that I was in trouble. The front desk clerk was smoking. The smell of smoke permeated my room. I was there for two nights and my credit card had been charged already. Even though I wasn't checking out, I took my bag with me in the morning because I knew my clothes would... more
I checked in, and the front desk person in the afternoon was GREAT. She was friendly and helpful. I wish I remembered her name. The room was clean, and exactly the same as every major chain room. Unfortunately, at about midnight, I heard screaming. After 10 minutes it stopped. Then at 1:30, it started again. I went into the hallway... more
I arrived at Comfort Inn at 3 in the morning after a horrible experience with a hostel in downtown Toronto. I had a group of 12 scouts and the hostel had given away our beds as we were travelling to Canada. So after a long night trying to find a hotel we ended up here. And what a nice surprice,... more
Terrible management experience, highly unprofessional, no wake up call, no return calls, the management should be fired. Oh and the huge spider on my face at night was a pleasure. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone that has to deal with back staff. Not one to ever write a review, but found this most disturbing and frustrating.
The only way anyone would ever give this place 4 or 5 stars is if their base of reference is Calcutta goat stables or skid row flophouses. Compared to those, yeah, it's a pretty swanky place. Compared to North American hotels, however, it's a dump. The carpets are stained, the whole place smells decidedly un-fresh, the decor is extremely dated,... more
I checked into one room open the drawer, it had not been cleaned there was hair and dirt all over. I had to call down someone came to clean it. the next day I changed rooms , there was a beer can behind the desk .. this makes me question what else they don't clean or check .. I'm disgusted
I've been to a lot of hotels in the Oakville area. I'm in town 8-10 nights a month for work. Price is extremely important since this expense is coming out my own pocket. There are obvious problems with low priced hotels. This Burlington Comfort Inn is the right combination of affordability without sacrificing quality. This is the working man's hotel.... more
The hotel was fine and served its purpose--a room and a minimal breakfast. However, the rooms are a little overpriced for the hotel having just a 2 Star Rating (which I agree with). Putting your breakfast on a tray and having to take it to another room (or your hotel room) isn't a great setup. If you need a place to sleep and don't care about amenities, this would work for you.
I semi regularly need to stay over in Burlington for work and this hotel is conveniently located. The staff is very courteous, and the last stay they accommodated a ground floor, non smoking room as I wished. The wifi/cable/fridge/microwave are ideal for a short stay. The rooms were a bit basic but were definitely clean and comfortable, I will certainly... more
The rooms are disgusting. They are mildewy and smell like 30 year old stale smoke. You hear the trucks at night and the staff are very unpleasant to deal with if you dare ask for something or complain about the disgusting room. I never ever do reviews unless they are exceptional but this was so exceptionally bad, I had to.
I have never before experienced such great customer service at such an affordable price! I had no complaints whatsoever.
First time staying here. It was clean and comfortable. The one major drawback was the wi fi internet access. I have not had such a slow internet since being on dial up many years ago. Could not watch videos due to the slowness. I don't know if this is a consistent problem but the hotel should look into it. I... more
We stayed here for just one night. The hotel was just okay. Very basic and definitely an older hotel.
Check in was quick, easy and staff were friendly. Our room was on the 2nd floor close to the stairs. Very noisy at times.
Room was clean but really think its time for a renovation. Beds were older, although comfortable. Little...

I have stayed here before and reviewed this hotel before. I am doing it again as they have recently refurbished many of the rooms and i stayed in a brand new room, which was very nice. It has patio doors, a microwave and fridge which some people may find useful. The hotel has extremely pleasant staff and they run it... more
Stayed at this Two Story Inn for six nights. Ground floor rooms have a double (security) sliding patio doors to your car parking spot outside. Beds (two queen) are nice and comfortable and the pillows are substantial (four per bed). Nice flatscreen TV. small fridge & microwave. Breakfast is minimal (Cereal, toast & bagels) but the coffee is pretty good.... more
I've stayed at many Comfort Inn's across the country, but this one is a little outdated. The room was too small compared to other hotels, bathroom had tiles cracking in a lot of places, the shower head didn't get much water flowing and the carpets need to be replaced soon. However, the location of this hotel is amazing...close to everything... more
I stayed here for two nights this past week while traveling on business in the area.
The Inn is in an excellent location, the room was basic, clean, but showing some wear and tear.
The staff friendly and helpful, provided directions and recommended places to eat.
True it isn't a four star hotel, but the pros outweigh the cons.

During a stay during a family emergency (death in family) the front desk staff were very compassionate and understanding. Offering a late check out without having to ask for one.
Even offering a private room to have a family meeting.

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to my company's office. I had meetings that went late and an early morning meeting the next day, I didn't want to drive home and back, but didn't want to spend a fortune for a place to stay.

Stayed at this hotel as I had an appointment in the area. Very impressed with the staff, they were extremely helpful and gave me directions to nearby restaurants and malls. My room was clean, free breakfast was a great start to my day. I've paid more at other hotels and wasn't as I satisfied.
This hotel was basic.
The breakfast was simple.
The rooms were functional ,but not pretty or particularly inviting.
The whole hotel was in need of up dating , and redecorating.
It was kept clean, but carpets were worn and ''tired''
The staff were friendly and obliging , but were restricted by what they actually had to offer, facility wise.

In one word DISGUSTING. The photos on the website DO NOT in any way depict the dirty shabbiness of this hotel. They could not pay me to stay here! Did not even stay the night. Saw the state of the room and checked out.
On the road again, this time for my diver instructor weekend certification. Rest was important for this trip. Stayed for 2 nights. We stayed at this hotel for a night while in town for a tournament. The hotel is nothing fancy but we just needed a place to sleep. The prices were good. The rooms are typical size with clean and comfortable beds. Pillows were a little too puffy with little support but that's a personal thing.

Stayed at this wonderful hotel this past evening. The staff at this hotel is exceptional. Very friendly and helpful! The manager at this hotel, Bonnie Harrison is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel if ever in the Burlington area!!!
We were forced to stay in this hotel as it was the only one available for our visit but luckily we only had to stay there overnight for a total of about 6 hours. The room didn't smell fresh and the bathroom floor looked old, chipped and dirty. The lobby is super small including the continental breakfast area which had... more
Affordable room. Nothing fancy but everything needed was provided. Very clean room. Several restaurants within walking distance.
Stayed in this hotel with my family during May 2011 Gymnastics competition. The place had no character, like most motels, however, was ok for its price at $90.00(plus taxes) for two adults, and an eight year old child(the gymnast). The price also included breakfast and free wifi. The breakfast was spartan and nothing special. It included cereal, milk, bread you... more
Stayed here for a tennis tournament in Burlington. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Overall, a great choice if the location fits your travel plans. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. We were happy with our stay!
I enjoyed my stay. I've paid $80 more at other hotels and for the same services. Free breakfast and wifi was great. It was quiet and relaxing. I like the easy access of the drive up rooms for quick unloading and packing. Staff went above and beyond. I'll be back.
We stayed here for only one night and that was enough. It's about as basic as you get, but for more than $100 for a queen bed and pull out couch I would expect a little more. The bed was really uncomfortable. If you plan on using the pull out couch, it is only a single size and can't hold... more
I stayed at this hotel while visiting Burlington for a family wedding. The bride and groom arranged a block of rooms with a discounted rate.
