This restaurant was inside of the mall and a busy place. There was a good selection and the food was good, the service was fair.
Small cold portions, tastes terrible. Impolite, hostile place, overpriced, and rude. Too high priced for the amount and quality of the food.
I more than ove the food at the coffee mill. The food prepared here always hits the spot for my love for good ol’ home cooking. I have had numerous items on their menu and have yet to be disappointed in taste, or presentation; I recommend trying their Clam Chowder or Brisket your taste buds will thank you!

The Coffee Mill is NOT, I repeat NOT fine dining, nor should you expect it. It's a "diner" type restaurant. Expect to wait at peak times and don't hesitate to ask the waiter/waitress about your meal as they get really busy. We live locally and we go here often and we get our meals in a timely manner and we... more
I have heard mixed reviews on this Restaurant but we decided to give it a try. The food and service was ok, it wasn't until we went to pay that I can see why they get BAD reviews. As we were waiting to pay 4 people walked out complaining about the service and the couple in front of me were... more
Enjoyed a reasonably priced chicken stir fry. It had nice flavor. Restaurant is inside the Lancaster Mall.
Service is not consistant and you tend to wait a long time for your small portioned- over priced food. Not as good as it was but alright for a quick, small bite.
Had not been to this old West Side stand by for about 25 years ,until yesterday .
Service was professional prompt and top notch .Food was of high quality even if not overly exotic .Very well timed delivery between appetizer & meals and hot great rolls .
The decor is much the same as it has been for 30 years...

yesterday while in Saint John I was looking for a quick bit while on the west side and where most of the old favourites are closed (Aquarius) chose the Coffee Mill. I haven't been here in years and was pleasantly surprise to find it much unchanged. The food is just good old fashioned diner style fare and that was fine... more
Went to the coffee mill today for the first time in a few years, was very disappointed. Fish and Chips reminded me of frozen fish and chips, could have bought it cheaper at the grocery store and took it home to cook. Service was poor and the prices high. Will think before going there again.
Food was good service was awful waited an hr for our food waitress didnt come ask us if we needed anything yet came to the tables around us multiple times who were all older people. When going to pay me and my cousin got the exact same thing she payed with debit but when I went to pay cash the... more
Love their breakfasts and hot sandwich platters. Service always pleasant. Great for a quick pick me up while shopping.
We ate here for lunch one day because the price was good. I was not impressed with the food and my belly didn't seem to think the food was a great idea. 30 minutes after eating I was so sick.
Food always great here - very busy (seniors) but staff always takes their time for ALL - we have tried most things on the menu and have never been disappointed - the staff are great and the manager seems fine to us -

My friends got married at the court house, and since it was in the morning there were very few restaurants open for us to have a nice meal afterwards. So, we trucked through the Lancaster Mall in our wedding clothes to the Coffee Mill. The waitresses were awesome, and they even gave the bride her meal for free. They said... more
My girlfriend and I went for lunch here today and we both had the Baron of Beef (beef au jou) and it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely order it again.
This restaurant is always full, but service is very good. The food is excellent. They have wonderful pies and deserts. The prices are very reasonable
When I don't feel like getting a meal for myself, I head for the Coffee Mill and have some kind of sea food. Service is good. Some eating places are not kind to singles, but Coffee Mill welcomes them.
It's also a local favorite. If you have never been to the Coffee Mill it is a franchise that is usually located inside a mall. They have a country like kitchen decor with booths and mid size tables. They do a great job like your Nanny or Mum would do on regular Diner style menus. Quick clean and friendly. Hot... more
My boyfriend and I attended the Coffee Mill in Saint John New Brunswick and was so disappointed my the way we were treated by the Manager and how poor quality of food was served to us.
We arrived at Lunch Time and had order bacon and cheese omelet and was surprised how burnt it was, our home fries and toast...

i love their 1/2 portion lasagna and ceasar salad. i get it everytime im there.
We try to visit Coffee Mill once a month or more. There is only one waitress we really like, the others are somewhat rude and slow so always try to sit at her tables. We always get the same things and are always happy with the food. I find the menu small but there is a lot I don't eat... more
The food is good, nothing special. Staff caterers to the elderly, no one else exists.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I entered the restaurant as most of the customers were seniors. But I was very impressed with my clubhouse sandwich which came with a generous serving of fries and coleslaw that wasn't saturated with mayo. I was only able to eat half my meal and got the rest to go. Not bad for... more
We have been eating at this establishment for years and years. It is a family style restaurant that is almost always busy. We have had the chicken stir fry, sweet & sour chicken, caesar salad, fries, club sandwich, smoked meat sandwich, scallops, etc. We are always pretty satisfied with the food and the service.
Situated in Lancaster Mall in the west part of Saint John, the Coffee Mill has surived the ups and downs of mall life for over 25 years. Though sometimes coined as a "diner for senior citizens", the Coffee Mill is a great place to catch lunch for all ages. The menu consist of common meals that one may find at... more
