A good place to stop and rest. Got a good nights sleep. Clean and quiet. No frills. But, good value. I would stop in again, next time I am in town. Good service. Breakfast was the usual fair. There is a Tim's around the corner and a plaza across the street.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel in late May 2014 for two nights. It was conveniently located on Warwick St, when coming off of Highway 101 and into Digby. It was very clean & quiet. The room we had was on upper level of property. It had fridge, table for two, two beds and good quality TV -... more
We found this motel Quaint, tidy, and quiet, Was conveniently located to go out to do some whale watching, and to catch the ferry to St. John, It was close to shopping and local restaurants, we would definetly stay there again
My spouse and I stayed at this motel shortly before Easter and thoroughly enjoyed it. This place has been meticulously and lovingly maintained over the years. Both inside and outside everything was immaculate. The front desk staff was welcoming and very friendly. Definitely a place I would recommend. My compliments to all for a job very well done.
We spent the night in Digby after taking the Ferry from St. John. The Coastal Inn was exactly what we expected when booking there. It is clean and quiet even on a night when they were fully booked. It could use some updating but for the short amount of time we were there it was fine. You have to drive... more
We stayed in another Coastal Inn in Antigonish and had three times the room for less money. There was no coffee in the room and the towels in the bathroom were skimpy. Chair in room had filthy arms on it. The staff also asked me to enter a pre-authorization charge with my chip card of $35 over the room charge... more
This is the best word that I can think of describing this motel and I cannot see how you would rate it higher. It is quite an industrial area and seems to attract groups of working men which had the disadvantage of a lot of comings and goings.
It is clean and comfortable for sure and the staff are helpful...

A very reasonable motel type accommodation within easy reach of down town Digby. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Very early in the season so not too many guests but more than adequate for our needs and at the prices they charge you would be doing very well to get anything better.
This property was easy to locate, the front desk staff very helpful, continental breakfast, usual fare, but good, and included in room rental price. The room was spacious, clean and we would go back there again.
We stayed here just one night before catching the ferry, so we were in late and out early. They were able to accomodate our request for adjoining rooms, and being a motor court style motel, loading and unloading was very convenient.
The rooms were very clean and a throwback to the old days with real glassware wrapped in tissue and...

Our room was spacious, the service friendly, and a continental breakfast was provided. The inn is easy to reach from the ferry dock and only a few blocks from the Digby downtown waterfront. My one complaint is that queen sized beds were not available. We were three adults sharing a room and my husband and I felt a bit cramped... more
We stayed for 2 nights in this very nice motel. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was basic but with fresh, delicious bagels and more. The staff was helpful and friendly. We found the guest washer and dryer near our room to be convenient. It was a great base for our visit to Digby area.
We recently stayed here for a night while passing through the area. We were not expecting too much but happy with the stay. The rooms are small but clean and so is the bathroom. The rooms are all motel style and you can pull your car right up to the door which is great for Load/unload. The breakfast was very... more
My daughter, three granddaughters and I had two rooms here over the weekend of August 25. We found the rooms comfortable and clean. My daughter's room had a fridge and microwave which were helpful. The televisions were good-sized flat screens with a good selection of channels. I found the staff friendly and helpful. It was a hot day so the... more
We were lucky to get availability. In Digby during scallop days festival with no reservation looking for place to stay at 10pm. B&Bs all with few rooms and full. Found the Coastal Inn,a big place for these parts with 30+ rooms. Assumed price would have been much higher (at we would have taken it at that hour!), although still high... more
Stayed here in August - our room was not fancy but it was clean and the air-conditioning was welcome. The room had lots of space, a good television and wi-fi too. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Would love to have some fresh fruit for breakfast.
We stayed at this property on July 14/12 as we travelled thru Nova Scotia. Although not a 5* it has everything that you need for a good nights sleep. There is a fridge, microwave, t.v., phone and a bed and bath. It is not red carpet stylish but clean and affordable. Thers is a continental breakfast of fruit, toast, coffee/tea... more

Thank you Wanda and Staff at Coastal Inn Digby. We have enjoyed your facilities for the past two years staying during the Digby Scallop Days festivities. Your Inn is close to all amenities and I have always had a great nights sleep. Having just stayed at your Inn last night I can confidently say, "see you next year."

This hotel is old. No doubt about it. But I’ve stayed in some older hotel/motels and they at least to try keeping this up to date. This hotel had the oldest TV I have ever seen in a hotel. The rooms are VERY small. My room didn’t even have an air conditioner. The beds are fairly comfortable, but the pillows... more
Our room was small but clean. The fixtures were ancient and the TV was the oldest I've seen in a long time, but everything worked including the wireless internet. It was a very basic room with no fridge, microwave or coffee maker which are nice to have, but not necessary when all we really wanted was a good night's sleep.... more
