Hotel is in need of upgrade. Parking and check in are a long ways from actual hotel rooms . View was terrible considering hotel is near sea. Exercise room was small and dated. Desk clerks were excellent and friendly. Elevator was very small. Breakfast was ok but not a lot of selection.

Awesome experience

Me and my husband went to Campbell river last year and stayed at this hotel which I believe is the best one in town. Very helpful staff, nice and clean bedrooms, and best atmosphere. I would love to go back again and will prefer to stay at same place. The great part is, they have really good food for free.

Good location.

The hotel is in a good location for walking to stores, close to two marina's for fishing charter's or just walking along the pier. Also close to eateries, etc. Quiet for sleeping very comfortable bed. Staff was knowledgeable of Campbell River and very helpful or they would find out things for you. Pleasant stay

I stayed here for two nights on a work-related trip. The hotel was very convenient, across the street from the ferry to Quadra Island and around the corner from a strip mall and Shoppers Drug Mart. Our stay included complimentary hot breakfast, which was unexpectedly decent! A good choice if you're staying in town.

Lovely place to stay!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant looked a little dated but the food was very good. Our room was huge and definitely recommend upgrading to the jacuzzi suite if possible. Family friendly yet quiet and relaxing.

Great location!

My room was on the top floor facing the ocean - it was a beautiful view! The bed was comfortable, and room was great. There's no air conditioning but it did not seem to be a problem as the cool night air is fresh in Campbell River.

My stay was too short for this coast hotel.
The buffet breakfast had all the usuals plus scrambled eggs, cubed fried potatoes, ham, oatmeal. Yummmm.

Good for one night stay

Hotel is old and our room was very small and showed a lot of wear and tear. The room was clean though. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. They allow dogs which is why we chose it.but would try somewhere else next time.

Extremely clean and nice rooms. We only needed one night could have stayed longer. We were quite surprised at how tiny our room was for a "Premium" room, and no air conditioning. The view and location were great, but other than that we felt it was very over priced. The hot breakfast that was included was very good.

Wow, where do I start? This place was such a disappointment, in so many ways. The hotel is across a busy highway from the marina, which has no relationship to the hotel. A little dated but pretty good value.

I stayed 1 night on 2 separate occasions. 1 of the rooms was not cleaned well. A clump of hair was left on the top of the tub between the shower curtains, at the end furthest from the drain. Additional strands of hair were on the floor under the bathroom sink. I removed all before before my wife saw them. Breakfast buffet staff were very good, and friendly.

Change in Meals

Everything was good. Breakfast is included. The only thing that is changed the hotel is not serving lunches or dinners anymore.

Nice Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Coast Discovery Inn. The location was very convenient and our room was clean & comfortable. The view was beautiful! We didn't care for the downstairs restaurant at all, though.

Not spectacular but okay

I was awakened EVERY morning by the cleaning staff, even when the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door handle housekeeping staff were clearly present in the hallways engaged in loud conversation. LOUD LOUD LOUD hotel.Bathroom is TINY with poor water flow.

Although not a new facility, our "Tower" unit and the common areas appeared to be recently renovated and inviting.
