Worth a trip!!!
For evening & "after-event" light meals ask for the "pub" menu, for best value.
For a special occasion, call ahead and ask for the "chateaubriand for two"....You'll be glad you did!!!

I am originally from Saint John and go there now and then for business. The food is absolutely horrible. Perhaps I am doing it wrong as I have been ordering steaks when I go there and I have tried various ones. But they call themselves a steakhouse, so you think they would get this right.

This is the best pub in Saint John

Excellent seafood chowder, forgettable fish and chips
July 27, 2011We dropped in without reservations and got a table on the 3rd floor, which is their steakhouse. Actually this was much better than the 1st floor. Their seafood chowder was absolutely excellent (served with a couple of multigrain bread loaves), but their fish and chips was less than average. Service was excellent too, fast and friendly.

Best Seafood Chowder ever

My mother has chowder at every restaurant and this is her favourite so far!! We ended up eating here both nights since this was the only pub we could find that actually served food. Everything we ate at Churchill's was amazing. Our compliments to the chefs!

This was the best pub/restaurant I've been to in Saint John in so long...what a little hidden gem...going back tonight..cannot wait....great pub atmosphere...delicious wings and burgers!! They do not rely on a big chain name, the food and service sells itself. Excellent!
