Bought pastries a few times and everytime it was awesome. Wish I bought the stuff sooner from 5 years ago instead of just a few months ago.
Pretty expensive but overall pretty good cake and pastry... However their service is rude! For the price they charge they should be smiling and be more courteous, I felt as if they were doing me a favour for selling me their cake!
Delicious fine European cakes, and pastries. You will not find North American style of cakes with sponge with ising, for that go to your nearest Loblaws or Metro.
I bought a cake there few days ago. It said fruit cake with strawberries and kiwi. When we sliced it there were barely any fruit! The cake price was 30 dollars and it was not big. 30 bucks for a pile of dough and cream what a RIP OFF!!! Stay away
This is one of my favorite cake shops from my gluten-filled past. I still dream of these cakes. My husband used to get me one every year for my birthday and oh.my.goodness. So soft, moist, chocolatey and flavorful. The cakes are also gorgeous. The decorations aren't just your typical green happy birthday frosting. They use gold and add in little gold beads. They have an amazing selection and... more
Absolutely love this place. Their cakes and pastries are delicious and so affordable.
Nice, average sized bakery with a small seating area. they have a variety of cakes for birthdays, small single-sized cakes, and a cute variety of honey from different locations such as New Zealand and so forth. Environment is decently clean with many staffs to greet and assist you when needed. as for the flavours, I four items, including the Napoleon and I have to say, I like it because it's... more
I have been coming here for over 5 years, always buy what they have on shelf (always fresh) or ask the staff to customize a certain cake for me, they usually need a 12 hour heads up and alway made orders perfect.
Never ones have I been disappointed in their quality of cakes. bakery is Russian speaking while in the beginning they did not have a list of what the cake is made from until 3 years...

Addicted. Fully. Addicted.
We've tried nearly every individual pastry and their Napolean cake is to die for.
My favourite teas are on the menu, as well as take home.
Fabulous! Creamy! Delicious!
I went into this store for the first time yesterday with the intention of buying some coffee and pastries. I was treated like a piece of s@!t. They obviously don't have any manners, don't know how to talk to customers- many of which are NON RUSSIANS. Will NEVER EVER set foot into this hell hole again. They have lost me a a customer forever.
They have a nice selection of cakes and other desserts. Price is moderate and the taste is good. I probably wouldn't sit down and enjoy cake/drink there, but a good place to pick up some items.
DISAPPOINTING! Got the Ferrero cake for my fiancé's birthday. The cake parts were very dry. And worse completely lack chocolate flavour! So disappointing when the pictures look so moist and chocolatey. I was better off getting a cheap chocolate cake from Walmart. We are now struggling to finish the cake which is still in our fridge (we hate to waste)!
I only come here for the Napoleon, which is a classic, and the best I can find in the area. I tried the mango and raspberry mousse today and I did not like! Even though I always like mango mousse... it just didn't cut it for me. I find the chocolate pastry swirl in the mango mousse makes it even worse. The lemon merengue pastry, rum ball and eclairs are also good. I feel like this place needs... more
Picked up a bday cake here... got the Ferrero cake (chocolate & hazelnut). It was actually really good, and got a lot of compliments. Tasted quite similar to Ferrero Rocher. They sell other baked goods too.
Prices are also very reasonable. Cake was $23, and easily fed 8+.
Ample parking. Takes credit card. Will return next time I need a cake.
Amazing for the quality and price. Everything is so clean and neat and the cakes and dessert look DELICIOUS.
Lucky for me it's close to home, and I always usually crave anything that's already there. Their cakes are delicious and creamy, so if you're one who's concerned about what's in your dessert, you should just rat with your eyes closed ;)
Mother in law lives in the area and the pistachio eclairs passes her critical radar with flying colors. 10 years as a customer at this joint proves I still aim to please the inlaws, (especially hubby's mom) during famjams! Their store is a bit outdated and looks abandoned and old from outside. The inside is clean and has about 3 tables and the desserts are displayed neatly. They also sell... more
This place used to be much better, whenever I had to go to a house warming, the gift would be their perfectly craft apple pies, I don't see them any more. The selection, the art of baking pastries. Good cappacino and yummy napoleon.
For Cakes I give this place a 5/5 for quality and price.
My *gluten free* cake from here was a great surprise, my s/o got it from here after another place he tried to order from didn't make the cake he ordered. With 1 day left he called here (you should give 2 days for custom orders) and they did it in time and saved the situation.
The cake was a meringue , layers of cream and crispy bits...

It's not the prettiest looking Pastry Bakery Shop from the outside and it's right in the back corner of this plaza that if you don't frequent this area, you wouldn't even know it's here. Stepping inside there's a few table/chairs for a quick snack/drink but it's not a place you can feel comfy chilling for hours.
The setting is most decorative from their Cakes, Pastries, Ice Cream displays...

Cake! We all need cake at one time or another, and in North Toronto this is the place to get it. Cakes are made with real ingredients – butter, eggs, cream, fresh fruits and Belgian chocolate. Try the chocolate Grand Marnier cake, a mousse filled cake, or a luscious fruit tart. Chocolada is also happy to take special orders for a variety of cakes that are gluten-, sugar-, and/or dairy-free.
