4 star for the women naturally, so no men's stuff. If I wasn't here for work, never wouldve known about them. Good, affordable store, well kept.
Lots of local jewellery, and better quality for the most part.
Stylish clothes, small shoes section in right back corner.
So guys in the hood, no need to go to the mall.
Friendly service.
I am a native Vancouver who recently discovered Changes, and it is better than any other consignment shop in the city.
The friendly courteous staff sold all my items, unlike other consignment shops that lost or misplaced my items! And for better prices than what I had elsewhere!
Their store is spotless, easy to shop and find things, great variety and I will never go to any other- this is the...

I don't live anywhere near Changes, but I go there to consign my clothes but more often just to shop. What I really like is the service they provide. I always pick out the same old things, but they put little gems in the change room for me to try on. It shakes things up a bit and let's me discover something new.
And, if I don't like what they pick out, they just try to find something else. No...

Changes is awesome for buyers and sellers. The staff goes above and beyond to help and are so positive and honest. They will encourage you to try something new, and are always respectful if the suggestion just isn't "me".
Even better than the service are the prices- Frye boots for $99. Yep. Basics for $10 and less. Sure! Plus, the new items are expertly selected for the store- there really is...

This is one of the best well organized consignment stores in the city. It's small but the quality of clothes are actually stuff that people would want for the hip demographic. I found this amazing pink 50's pin up style Betty Paige style cherry dress for $30 in great stainless condition. Rarely do I see things that jump out at me at consignment stores. The lady working the til was super helpful... more
Called ahead today to ask about an outfit for a 1930s theme party... When I arrived a few hours later to take a look, there were four dresses, a few pairs of lovely shoes and some accessories all laid out for me.
What service!!?
This store takes the shopper back in time... To a period where customer service was the absolute most important part of running a business.
Gosh am I ever glad I...

OK I know what you are thinking...why is a guy writing a review of a clothing store that is 99% women's clothing?
Rhonda and the staff have made my life easier for years. Men shopping for women is never fun. The staff here make me look like a pro. They take SO much time with each client, and are candid and honest with what looks good and what doesn't.
I have even bought gift certificates for...

First of all, I LOVE the service.
You don't think much about the service in a clothing store, let alone a second-hand store, but I think that's their secret, really.
When I went in just to browse, the two lovely ladies:
*Started a room for me fairly quickly.
*Never let me carry more than 2 items in my hand.
*Picked out some items for me that they thought I might like and hung them in my...

A fine second hand clothing store. They are extremely discriminating in their selection of the clothes they take, which is probably a good thing. Kudos to Rhonda for starting her own bus. When they first opened, they would pay out 50% to customers who brought their clothes there. Now, to follow the trend they pay only 40%. Too bad. But as I said, they are quite discriminating on what they take,... more
THE BEST clothes shopping experience - truly - I have ever had!! The owner, Rhonda, was there on her own, handling picky customers, a journalist wanting to interview her, someone buying things, someone consigning things, and me--who needed outfits and accessories coordinated for a 5-day business trip with 4 differently styled events leavimg in2 days, and a ham-show of things to do myself that... more
My budget doesn't agree with my tastes and Changes gets the two a whole lot closer! Consignment, store close outs and new shoes/clothes from quality/designer lines, local designed jewelry, a great selection of scarves plus great sales staff who know the merchandise and always have good suggestions. Customer service rocks in this store, friendly and helpful without being pushy...The girls... more
I made my way down to Changes today to see if I could knock off one of my must-haves on my shopping list: silver chandelier earrings. I saw from the website that the store - which carries both new and gently used clothing - features many different jewellery designers. To tell you the truth, the website doesn't do their stock justice. They had so much to choose from!
I didn't quite see what I...

Definitely got some gems, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Last time I was there I tried on a beautiful Theory shirt and Banana Republic dress, and in the past have purchased Seven jeans and nice sweaters. I've been coming here for years and its always fun.
Odette has an amazing eye for jewelery making! Really beautiful work.
I was walking to lunch with a friend one day when I finally noticed the storefront I'd walked past so many times previous. I can't comment on the clothing because I didn't glance at them at all. I went straight for the jewelery.
They have a great selection of handmade jewelery by local artists that make use of things like Scrabble tiles, dominoes, and even old Archie comics. They even have...

As a former saleswoman in the clothing business, I completely know when the saleswoman is dishonest. I must say she was very friendly, but come on, it is not possible that "e-v-e-r-y-t-i-n-g look so amazing on you". I understand that thats her job, but she was very pushy and really maid me feel uncomfortable.
The cloths are very pretty, a little expensive though.
Love Love Love Love this store. I walked into it by chance, and being an avid lover of designer consignment stores I gave it a shot. The second I walked in I was greeted very warmly by the staff, even offered tea while I shop. Every time I picked an item off the shelf the staff quickly hung it up in the changing room for me, I never carried more than 2 items at a time ( and I had picked up at... more
