COUNTRY SIDE stop over

we booked it 1 day before. stayed on august 11th/2013
, looked little different wen we made it there , looked old but the front desk was helpful to us , we had a kitchenette which was ok for a family of 4 , stayed for 1 nite and left 6.30 am to catch another ferry .

Don't do it
August 21, 2013I called ahead and booked my room. It was supposed to have been 99$ for the night. When I cehecked out I was charged 150 and told they don't have a 99 $ rate. Clean & comfortible

We had a great stay here. Air Conditioned room, clean and neat. Yes the place is older and showing wear around the edges,( kinda like me) But still a great place to stay. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Didn't use the sauna (only cuz i dont like saunas) but looked clean and functional.

Decent & convenient

April 21, 2013This place was dirty, musty smelling! The curtains were falling down. When we were packing we noticed there were actually empty beer cans under the bed from god knows when! Do not book here ever! The pillows were flat and the bed uncomfortable!

Outdated look overall
March 25, 2013Hotel could use some refurbishing, it's very 80's looking. Location is neither good nor bad, everything is quite close in Gibsons anyway. I found the Cedars Inn to be an acceptable place to stay in Gibsons. There isn't a whole lot to choose from in this small town. The heating comes from a 20 year old a/c unit (apparently these are slowly being replaced) that tends to kick on and off during the night.

our biggest complaint was the hot water...there wasn't any the first night we were there. it was like why are we paying to be in a hotel if we're camping? they discounted the price but still, we wanted a hot shower more than a discount.
also we had to switch to a different room because the air conditioner didn't work...
