Calgary Marriott Downtonw

After a busy day it was great to crawl into the King Size bed. The hotel was really quiet and I had a great sleep. Skoosh was one of the few websites still showing availability when I booked this, so glad to have found a room. Thanks Skoosh!

Yes, good, basic business hotel, helpful staff, Starbucks in lobby, and good location. No luxury, however.

Calgary Marriott

This is a great location as it is across from the Calgary Tower and connected to the Telus Convention Centre. Hotels in downtown Calgary are very expensive, but I got a reasonable rate from Skoosh as compared to direct bookings. The staff were friendly and helpful and I have no complaints.

Great Value, good location

Third time at the Marriott in Calgary for business, very good service, value, location. Only complaint is that the hotel uses some kind of air scent so lobby smells like a Glade Plug-In. I would stay here again in a heartbeat though, really solid hotel.

The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. More comfortable than my own bed at home, which is very rare in a hotel.”

“I thought the hotel was great for the price, however if I had paid full price I would've been disappointed. The heater in the room was very loud and switched on and off through out the night, waking us up. As we got there late and really were only sleeping, this was quite irritating. I did not like that there was no overnight parking anywhere near the hotel so if you drive by car you really have no choice but to use the valet which is a $35.00 a day fee.”

Great location for doing business in downtown Calgary

Hotel is walkable to the main area of downtown. Nice touch to have the Starbucks in the lobby for those of us who prefer a quick on-the-go breakfast in the morning. Check-in was fast and efficient. Our voucher was accepted without question. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was clean and functional. Check-out was effortless. Overall, a very favorable opinion of hotel and staff. My only complaint was $16 charge for internet connection - the highest I've every encountered, even more so than in Europe.

The Marriott in downtown Calgary is a good hotel, but not quite as upscale as some of it's neighbors. All the same, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the service acceptable. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff from the General Manager to housekeeping. Food superb and beautifully presented. Ah, but the gym was above and beyond. Very urbane and classy. Great downtown location. Rooms nice, good for business trip or vacation. Trader's Grill breakfast convenient and food is well done. Very good value for the money spent.
