Abused by owner
We sent back a dessert that was obviously improperly prepared. We did so nicely and after the owner had said to us earlier in the night that we should do so if we were unsatisfied with any part of our meal.
The owner then came out of the kitchen in a fit of rage and abused me and my three friends (two of them were there for a birthday which the owner well knew). He insulted us, called us names, went on a diatribe for several minutes. He does not know us personally but he does know my friend's parents- who helped him set up his business in the first place
He was drunk and disorderly and doesn't deserve your money. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT!!!

Great experience
March 19, 2014Right from when we first walked in we felt like regulars. Chris is very outgoing and proud of the food he serves. He should be. All the dishes were very good, wine selection is great. Nice atmosphere. Definit repeat on our next visit to Brantford. Only negative, downtown Toronto prices!

WOW! What an experience

-wonderful location. Old house with tonnes of character and not overcrowded with tables
-as soon as you arrive, you are greeted as if you are long lost friends
-service was incredible. Staff is always attentative and at your command
-unless you are extremely hungry, the appetizer will fill you up. I had the bbq'd octopus and it was incredible.

After reviewing the 13 choices ahead of Café Andreau you have to wonder what the locals are smoking lol
We eat everywhere and all over the world. This is by far the best restaurant I Brantford or Hamilton par none. It will also rival almost any restaurant in Toronto.

This was the third business dinner I've hosted at Cafe Andreou and all of them have been consistently outstanding. Every aspect of the dining experience is noteworthy and exceptional. The preparation of the food, the professional service, the atmosphere (enhanced by Chris, the owner) make this an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Only fine dinning in Brantford
November 08, 2012if your after meat & potatoes go to McDonalds or the Keg. The chefs at Andreou take real pride in their preparation & presentation. The menu del dia is inventive and worthy. Fine Dining
August 30, 2012Me and my wife have come here about once a year for some fine dining. We get all dolled up to get treated like royalty and eat some fancy meals. Very professional and polite staff and the food is top-notch. A high-class establishment serving high class food. Not snobby, but very welcoming.

Beware the Owner

Three friends and I went to celebrate the birthday of two of us. We sent a dessert back (creme brulee that wasn't brulee'd at all) and the owner came out of the kitchen in a fit of rage. I have never had such a horrible experience in a restaurant in my life.
