rich menu, delicious appetizers, great steak. I recommend fried calamari. the food in general is great. I like the atmosphere. staff are very friendly.
Convenient location/parking. Great food selection that taste good. Excellent service from hot looking chicks. What better joint to be than a place with good food and beautiful ladies who knows how to serve.
The staff was quick and friendly. Made great recommendations when it came to the menu selection. The Peanut Butter Crunch bar for dessert was fantastic...and I don't normally have dessert. Great place to eat.
Liked the food - casual menu ranging from sandwiches to steaks, with decent BC influence, including a few nice local choices on the wine menu. Nothing overly special, but a good place for a solid business lunch much like others in the same category. Also liked the clean, warm setting - and although I was there in the winter, I... more
Just enjoyed a fifth return dinner with friends. Shaun their Manager is super friendly as is all of their staff. Cactus Club consistently meet expectations. The appetizer menu is a huge favourite with me and my friends. Their drinks menu for cocktails is spot on. Try their Cactus sized caesar that comes with a stick offering cheese ball, olive, pepper... more
This location provides a great all around experience. There is free parking in the back but also near a skytrain... there is always friendly staff wanting to help you... the lounge is where I sat the last couple times comfy tables lots of TVs great for when the canucks are playing... if you perfer to sit in the dinning area... more
On a strip of chain food, offices and supermarkets this is a pleasant surprise.
Good food, great service, pleasant atmosphere.
Great atmosphere. Excellent spot to meet friends or just to watch sports. Food is good but kind of expensive.
Whenever I'm wanting a healthy, tasty, well-presented meal, I treat myself to the Cactus Club. Food is consistently delicious, with lots of healthy choices. Food tastes very fresh and of good quality. Service is great.
Went there with my staff colleagues for Office Dinner. Ordered Dry Crispy Ribs. They were extremely salty and poorly cooked (overdone). The service was sloppy. Nothing to match restaurants out here in Vancouver. Will never step in there again!
We ate recently at this cactus club and wanted a lite meal. The food was mostly excellent , but there were very limited choices...that didn't involve a lot of spicy food or unique items. We chose the slider hamburgers and shared them with an appetizer Caesar salad. The salad was delicious but huge...almost too much for two people. The sliders... more
Met friends we hadn't seen in 40 years. The Restaurant staff acknowledged this and let us stay as long as we wanted to reminisce. Otherwise, the food was ordinary.
I ordered the Jumbalaya and it was, quite simply, fantastic. Beautiful restaurant with a great vibe. Attracts a young crowd at night and on the weekends but works well for casual business meetings during the week and at lunch. Service was great--attentive, friendly but not intrusive. The atmoshpere was lively but you could easily carry on a conversation and be... more
First trip to this Resturant and it won't be our last. Great friendly service and the food is also very good . Had " The Burger " and it was very good. Menu has a good variety for all tastes, fish , chicken , beef .
Service at the front desk was dicey (you don't have to be intelligent to seat people but keeping track of who arrived FIRST would be an asset!!) Once inside our wait staff was EXCELLENT! Food hot, fresh and yummy. Condiments galore. Drinks just kept coming, never had to ask for more. Washroom large and clean. We'd eat here again.
From the greeting at the front door; two hosts/hostesses held doors for us, to the cooling watermelon margueritas, to the excellent burgers and spinach salads, this family restaurant cannot be beaten.
We have always enjoyed the award winning food here and continually come back for the great service.
Good food and spectacular friendly waitresses. Worth going back again for a meal. Great scenery, the manager must hand pick each girl hired.
Started with the dry ribs, and then I had the Rib dip sandwich, and My better half had a chicken pasta dish. Both were very tasty! I loved the smells in this place as the servers delivered food! We had decent seats to see the goings on, and ohh yaa! The servers were gorgeous!
Great choices on the menu. The waitresses are taking excellent care of their customers. Great choices of drinks for whom likes to drink.... more
I have travelled to Burnaby many times over the last few years and always find the staff and service excellent at this location.
Always a good time. Used to go with the guys but even when eating at the Cactus Club with family, its still a good time.
Good food - fresh and well done.
Friendly staff providing a very good service.
Great atmosphere.
Excellent for casual dining.
We usually go to the one at Market Crossing. Like the service, food and parking. A little too loud if you're going with a group and want to talk though.
Comparing it to other similar chain restaurants I think that Cactus Club is definitely a step up. From the cleanliness of the buildings to the presentation of the food as well as the professionalism of the staff. Absolutely amazing food and service. Will definitely come back here again next time.
the food was delicious although on the small portion side.It was way too noisy for me but I can appreciate the lure it holds for the younger crowd.there are other places for me
Rob FEENIE is their chef...what more can i say? Favourites are the belinis and fish tacos and salads...close parking, but arrive early. Waitresses always pleasant.
Went to this Cactus Club location recently and had the three course menu, decided on the Tuna Tataki, Sirloin with mashed potatoes, and the Key Lime Sampler pie. A very nice meal. I really like how the place looks after the recent renovations. Parking can be a bit of a problem at this location unfortunately.
Very friendly staff and excellent service. Discovered a new favorite today. The hunter chicken! I thought this might have a heavy gravy, but it is light and delicious. The free run chicken comes with portabello, crimini, button and shiitake mushroom , demi-glace, buttered green beans, oven-roasted her fingerling potatoes. Fantastic!
Food was great, but the portions were tiny and the prices high. Don't think I'll be back.
Came here with a friend for dinner, the night we came was during a playoff game so it was very busy. Service was great and so was the food, best beef carpaccio that I've ever had. Prices are average. Good selection of food and drinks. Fun environment .
Excellent service. Try Rob's flat bread for app. Delicious! Are you a big hockey fan like me? You won't miss any plays if you go to bathroom{ladies} as there is a t.v. screen playing the game in every stall.(don't know about the guy's bathroom ??) lolol
Great food generally.
Nice variety.
Great service
A bit overpriced .............

Convenient location for business, and large open dining and bar. Pleasant service. Good food, albeit a bit pricey. Lunch for two was $40,plus 20% tip ($50): 2 sodas, one salad, one quesadilla, one soup.
As the restaurant industry in Vancouver competes for your patronage, Cactus Club has renovated and increased their pricing. The duck sandwich is delicious but on the small side. Their Jambalaya and burgers are large and filling.
The food and atmosphere is good.
After a recent face lift, the Cactus club on Lougheed is looking more polished. The food seems to have improved tremendously as well. The beef carpaccio wth grainy dijon aioli, pickled shallots, capers, parmesan, crostini is one of best i have had. The Flat bread and raincoast green salad are delicious too. I am converted!
The wait for a booth was half hour so I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and got our food and drinks in a timely manner. Thumbs up! The sliders were good and the burger is gigantic (for me) but for a big guy there's lots.
Was expecting the usual menu that most restaurants have but these guys have a good tasty variety.
Dined here, and other Cactus Clubs, but this one the most in the past year, thanks to suppliers schmoozing with dinners out. It's O.K. if your table is four or six at most, but they are brutal at handling large groups, and you will be thirsty for most of your visit, if you have your party there. The food selections... more
Lougheed Hwy Cactus Club was the best dining experience we have ever had in Vancouver. The atmospher, food, and service were all flawless. As visitors to the city we often strick out on the choice of a place to eat, but not this time! We highly recommend this friendly, professional spot.
The food here is very good, but whenever I went (around lunch time) we had to wait a little bit for a table. The service was good and the waitresses are nice to look at if you're into that sort of thing.
And they have a great patio for those summer cocktails! Blender drinks galore.
Love this restaurant, always great food and great atmosphere!
This is the other cactus club I have been to-nice, but no the cool wash room things. But exellent with a classic cactus club cafe menu
Looks like some Las Vegas place outside! The usual great burgers and quesadillas and drinks.
Yam fries are absolutely delightful, and they do their drinks quite well.
i really love this place and of course i wanna go again
Less busy than other locations. Great drink creations. Good to get together after work.
I really enjoyed their food. But the last time I went there, the service wasn’t that great for some reason…
