Second time, never again

I've eaten at the Abbotsford location twice now and both times, ordering different items was terrible. The chowder in particular was disgusting, the consistency was gelatinous & there was weird white specks all throughout it. The tartar is unbelievably gross, so processed and absolutely no pickles ?? The gravy is clearly from powder mix too. Never again

Have been going for quite a few years and have always been happy with the experience. Good food and service service. Sometimes a bit too busy requiring a wait but quality and serrvuce has never suffered.

Consistently great fish and chips

We often take our elderly parents to c-lovers on a Wednesday as it is "seniors day". The fish and chips are very fresh, portions are great. The parents share a meal, which is just right for them. The staff are friendly and attentive. Really really good place to eat!

I love this place. The staff are wonderful, always happy helpful and efficient. The food is fresh and well cooked, good portions. As a Brit I consider myself a fish and chip expert and these guys do a great job.

Greasy goodness

The food was pretty good, although greasy, but isn't fish and chips supposed to be? LOL! The service was fast and the price was just fine. Lots of younger kids working at this one location but they all seemed to know what they were doing :) I would go there again.

Walked in sat down ordered under 3 min, within 6 minutes hot fresh 5 pieces of Pollack, within 5 minutes of finishing waitress was taking second order and asked how many more pieces.... Can't beat that at all....

Batter is light not battery or thick which I hate, small pieces but offered us whatever we wanted, fries are fresh and not frozen WOW....

I have been going to this location for several years now and find the staff very friendly. I love their salmon and chips. I would recommend that every try this restaurant.
