Best market for fresh fish also fair prices .
Great service at this store super friendly staff.
Free grocery bags not like those other stores that charge you more for your food then change you for a bag.
Better than Oceans or Seasons in terms of selection and cleanliness. Nicer layout, more selection and produce is fresher than Oceans and Seasons I find.
5 stars based on inventory.
I often time here when in Canada
And go here on weekdays because weekends is like the east village trader joes and you will loose patience
There selection of sauces, spices, meats, seafood, cooked food...is pretty outstanding.
Note: this is all Asian food so don.t expect to find fresh mozzarella here.
Service: it is what it is. Get it and go. No one is gentle here...

They have lots of Asian stuff, their sponge cheese cake is good. Sometimes they had stuff on sale, but you should check the expiry date on it.
I always go here to get snacks! Love their selection.
I'm a crazy junk food kind of person. Four starts for 2/3 full rows of snacks.
My family always goes here for groceries, it's close and convenient and I guess they have a good selection?
Seems kind of dreary though :X and parking is usually bad.
I remember visiting this supermarket as a kid when my mother purchased groceries. Fast-forward to the present and today I am purchasing groceries at BTrust (formerly known as H&H Supermarket). The supermarket is averaged sized. The quality of the items are not the freshest but is still decent. The arrangement of the items are easy to find and provide an easier shopping experience.
During my...

So if this were two years ago, I'd probably put it at one star. Why? There were birds in the vents and up on the roof right above the hot food section and bakery where a lot of baked goods are displayed, so it's possible it could get contaminated. Eww...
However, they've done some recent renovations, expanded and moved their hot food section to the back where it is constantly monitored and lo...

Decent Asian grocery store that recently reno'd/moved their hot food counter to the back of the store.
Produce - Cheap 'n fresh, just the way I like it! In comparison to the gwai lo stores, you'll find basics like lemons, limes, apples, bananas, etc. at a fraction of what it normally costs!
Customer Service - Non-existent, but I don't expect much from my people. You basically hafta fend for...

Prices are decent if you catch things on sale in their flyer - otherwise it's pretty normal priced, nothing too special. Very crowded especially on weekends (but so are all Asian grocery stores), takes a LONG time to cash out - they are understaffed for cashiers. Veggies/Meat typically OK fresh, but I think T&T has better quality. Do not buy anything from their bakery, it's very poor quality.
This place lacked a lot of Asian ingredients my sister and I were looking for; however, you can't always find everything in one supermarket.
The only down fall was the lack of registers opened. I was just purchasing 3 items and it took awhile to get cashed out. Only 3 registers were opened and the line ups were getting longer by the mile. I don't expect top notch customer service at this...

A nice large clean supermarket to compete with the T&T chain.
Located conveniently in the unofficial Mississauga 'chinatown', with a collection of chinese restaurants all around.
Prices are decent and the selection is great.
Parking can be hard to get during the weekends so look for the rear entrance with it's huge and relatively sparse parking lot.
Not your "typical" 90's Chinese Grocery store.
I used to hate going to chinese supermarkets, for their lack of cleanliness, unassuming stock and completely "no engrish" customer service.
I've been shopping here since it was H&H Supermarket, back then it was a typical chinese grocery store. Not anymore. It seems that they have caught they wave of Chinese Supermarkets blending into the likes of...

For good prices, I think chinese grocers can't be beat, but you have to put up with some terrible shopping experiences sometimes. Not the case with Btrust.
I had blindly offered to host a family lobster or surf and turf new years eve dinner without knowing where I would be getting the lobster/seafood, but trusting that I would be able to get live lobster for $6 a pound from someplace like T&T....

I despised being dragged in here by my parents when I was younger because it smelled like a fish market.
They have since renovated and now include a hot food section for take-out. The aisles are so organized and well stocked and they keep everything clean. As well, I think the quality of their fruit and vegetables surpass the big grocery store chains.
I highly recommended this store for all...

Fresh vegetarian spring rolls are 8 for $1 here! (Why are you still reading? You should have already started to race over to Btrust to get some!) I never seem to leave without a bagful. I also can't resist their Pocky aisle, although there now seems to be more imitation brands than the original.
You can find all of the weird Chinese groceries here. Some of my favourites are bokchoy, guylan,...
